Amidst the scared gazes of everyone, Noah stood up, brushing off the dust on his clothes.

He cracked his jaws, which had a small stain of blood on them.

Wasker threw a hard punch there.

"Not bad."

Noah praised, deeply. He did not mind that soone had punched him, in fact,ct he felt good.

Not in a perverted way, but it was a breath of fresh air for him.

However...

"If that was your full strength, then I hate to say it, you won’t win against . This ends here."

That punch on his face told him one thing. He was around the sa strength as Wasker, not much stronger when he used his mana to strengthen his body, but he definitely was around the sa strength as him.

But that’s based on his physical strength alone; he had his spells, too.

Though he was surprised by how much mana he needed to expend to get his body to act like this.

He was jumping many realms with his physical strength alone, so the rate at which his mana veins used his mana was obviously large.

He grasped the sword in his hand once again. Thrown out of the arena, the battle should have ended, but he wasn’t here to win or lose; he wanted to see where his real strength lay.

Coating the wooden sword with his mana again, he was ready to face Wasker again, but before he could move, Wasker did.

The pointed tip of his sword was coming straight for his face, cutting through the air with ease.

At that mont, Noah did not see anyone else, even the man who was coming at him; what he saw was only the tip of the sword, only a few inches away from him.

This situation reminded him of the day he t Aurora.

This very mont was so similar that his hands instinctively trembled. Why would he not, he was only able to save himself through luck or maybe her rcy.

’Fuck...’

He cursed, gritting his teeth. He couldn’t believe he was comparing this with Aurora.

He couldn’t do anything then, but that didn’t an he couldn’t do anything here either.

His strength fell short then, but now? Definitely not.

Wasker charged at him with his full force; his sword might have been directed at his face, but he was actually going for his neck.

Though he did not plan to harm Noah, he was efficient and trained in his movents, and he planned to dispense his mana at the last mont so as not hurt him.

But he couldn’t do what he had planned.

His sword and he, who were giving their all, couldn’t do as he had planned.

"Did I not say? This ends here." Noah said with an ice-cold voice.

The sword stopped just a few inches away from his place, along with Wasker.

His hands trembled while holding his sword. He tried to push forward, but no matter how much mana he used, he couldn’t.

His sword was stuck in the air, forcibly stopped by an invisible barrier cast by Noah.

He did not even move an inch from his place, and he was able to hold Wasker in place.

This sight was witnessed by all, but even then, none of them could say if this was real or not.

Their feared instructor’s sword was stopped by the trash they used to loathe so much. How could they even believe it?

But the truth was right before them.

Not only did he stop his sword, but he also did it without even lifting his fingers.

Wasker frowned when his sword was stopped, but he did not stop at that one loss.

He retracted his sword, not daring to take this lightly anymore.

He did not hold back after that and swung his sword with even more force.

Noah chuckled at his movents, he also withdrew his barrier. It costed vastly substantial amount of mana to maintain one.

It was good and all for being cool, but only a fool will maintain that for too long in a battle, unless they have infinite mana.

He casually swings his sword, clashing it against Wasker’s with ease.

With only one swing, he was able to send Wasker a few feet away.

This sudden change in power did not go unnoticed by everyone including Wasker.

Just a mont ago, they were evenly matched and now?

"Surprised? Well, guess you can’t see it huh?"

’His mana sense is poor.’

Any form of spells that cannot be seen are the most lethal against those with poor mana sense.

Any skill or spell generates a little spark before it is put to use. Soone with good mana sense can imdiately tell if soone else is using mana or not.

Not everyone is born a genius.

Noah had only finished what he had said, and the next mont, he was to the right of Wasker.

"What?"

Wasker slashed his sword at Noah but before his attack landed, he was gone already, reaching his other side.

He did the sa to his left, but Noah disappeared again.

It was then that he realised Noah wasn’t moving fast; he had slowed down.

’What spell is this?’

He couldn’t understand why. This wasn’t gravity; otherwise, he would have felt the pressure on him. He just went slow for so reason.

Noah did not even give him a mont to catch his breath and analyse his situation.

A sword ca crashing down on his face, which he barely caught and diverted.

Clack~

He utilised the little mont of ti Noah used to tighten his grip and pulled so distance between them.

Wasker had his eyes locked onto Noah, not even daring to slack off for even a second.

He could have used his sword skills on him, but to do that, he first of all needed to know the location of Noah, he couldn’t just charge it like an animal.

So he remained alert for any attacks on him, playing only defensively.

However, his alertness did not do him justice, Noah reached him before his eyes could follow and threw another swing at him.

Wasker was only able to catch it barely.

After his one attack failed, Noah moved again, to his other side, doing the sa action.

Again barely slipped.

Then his feet moved without any stop, he was going to Wasker’s side after each slash, swinging his sword relentlessly at him.

It reached such a point where people began to see afterimages of Noah.

He wasn’t moving close to the speed of light, but his constant movents created that illusion.

As much of an outstanding spectacle as it seed to others, it beca a nightmare for Wasker, who was barely holding his sword.

’Not enough. Not enough.’

However, this much wasn’t enough for Noah, he wanted to push even further.

This much was what he was able to achieve when going all out with his current strength.

But just wasn’t enough for him.

He wanted to push more, break the limit even more.

He needed to swing his sword more, train, hone his skill, and gain more experience.

Only this much won’t ever be enough.

With the thought of trying to push his limits, his feet hovered in the air.

His feet used the air as their base to move his body.

Dancing with the sword in his hand and his foot in the air, his speed reached a new height.

Locking his target as Wasker, anywhere his feet reached beca a floor for him.

Pushing that floor, the rate at which Wasker took the onslaught beca so much that the very people who were in awe of such a spectacle began to feel pity for their instructor.

Even when they just watched from the side, they could tell how bad it would feel if they were at the receiving end of that attack.

That wasn’t an attack filled with the honour of a knight, but of a brute who only wanted to win.

Noah was just like a brute whose sword was moving with the intent of making his opponent surrender.

After minutes of going on and on with the sa torturous attack, Noah flew in the air and crashed down hard on Wasker, breaking the heavy armour he had worn.

Clank~

His armour fell down on the floor. Only after that did Noah stop.

Wasker stayed there, his eyes widened and his face tired.

He, a knight at the realm of Mana heart stage, was sweating under the attack of soone who seed like he had only picked up the sword today.

And not only that... he had lost.

Amidst the silenced gasp of everyone watching, Wasker slowly raised his head to look at the man who had just defeated him.

18 years of age only.

’Monster.’

That’s the only word he could think of to describe this abomination before him.

’A trash they say? Then what am I?’

His view of Noah changed after this duel. He only decided to follow him because he was the next in line to the throne of this region but after this mont, he truly wanted to follow him as his knight.

As he stared at Noah, Noah asked him that question again,

"Tell now, Wasker. Who is stronger, he, a once-in-a-lifeti genius? Or , the notorious trash of the duke family?"

The sa question.

However this ti, Wasker did not hesitate.

With a smile of acceptance on his face, he spoke,

"The trash, my lord."

Noah responded with a pleased smile and walked away from the arena.
