"So, do you have anything interesting to share?" Anthony asked as he sat at the edge of the boat, holding two wooden oars in his hands. The boat they had built was diocre, but as long as it stayed afloat, it would serve. Although water occasionally seeped in, they couldn't complain.
In the middle of the boat, there were 7 coconuts; they had decided to leave them out, vastly underestimating the length of the river. They had been at sea for a day already, but on the other end, they could barely make out solid ground.
Persephone looked into Anthony's red eyes and thought for a few seconds. "I guess the only noteworthy thing in my life is that my mother told that imperial soldiers protected her while she was pregnant with ," she began, looking at the water beneath her. "That's all," she continued. "According to her, she told I was special, but apparently not so much.
By the ti I was a child, the soldiers had disappeared," she concluded, shrugging. "For a mont, I thought I was special, but look at , I'm a student in class 200," she added with disdain towards herself.
Anthony smiled, but she glared at him. "Do you find it funny?" Perséfone asked angrily. Anthony shook his head. "Your mother was right, you are very special, but you don't know it yet," he said as he looked at her. Confused, Perséfone watched him. "Why?" she asked.
Anthony shrugged, and a smug smile ford on his lips. "Because you're with ," he replied as he continued rowing.
Persephone rolled her eyes. "You're stupid," she said annoyed, pouting. Anthony looked at her and replied, "Your mana is special, which makes you special." She looked at him doubtfully. "Everyone tells that my magic is disgusting and repulsive," she said, pursing her lips. "They have no idea what they're talking about," Anthony replied firmly.
Persephone fell silent for a few monts before changing the subject. "And you, what interesting story do you have to tell?" she asked. Anthony pondered for a mont. "I guess the most exciting thing was when I t my wife. Believe , I almost died at her hands; it was a very bad experience but at the sa ti not. She cut off an entire arm," he said with a smile.
Persephone looked at him wide-eyed. "A peculiar relationship," she finally comnted. "The best of all," replied Anthony with a smile, rembering Lysandra, the woman he had fallen deeply in love with. It had been a long ti since he had seen her.
"How many wives do you have?" Perséfone asked curiously. Anthony looked at her with a playful smile. "I have two: one is beautiful and sensual, and the other is small and adorable. A good combination," he said as he nodded in satisfaction.
"Hmhp," grunted Persephone, turning her head to the side. "You have no sha. I've seen how so n and won have more than 10 wives," she added, visibly upset as she frowned. Enjoy new tales from My Virtual Library Empire
Anthony watched her for a few seconds, finding her beauty strange and curious. A playful idea crossed his mind. "Do you want to join?" he asked with a mischievous smile. Persephone looked at him for a mont before standing up and grabbing a coconut from the boat. She threw it at Anthony with force, clearly expressing her disapproval of the proposal.

"Father, mother, your beautiful daughter is back!" exclaid Aria, puffing out her chest with pride as her eyes sparkled with excitent. After several days of travel, they had finally arrived ho. They were in an elegantly decorated office, where a black-haired man was seated in a chair, accompanied by a beautiful dark-haired woman. Both were Aria's parents.
Her mother's eyes filled with love at the sight of her daughter so happy, and she approached to hug her tightly. "Welco back, daughter," she said lovingly. Aria returned the hug with equal enthusiasm, while her father smiled warmly. "You're back," he said with a smile.
Aria nodded with a smile, and then Daniel approached, bowing before Jeane. "It's a pleasure to see you again, count and countess," they both expressed with respect in their gazes. After all, those two people had taken them off the streets and raised them as if they were their own children. The count looked at them with a smile and nodded. "It's a pleasure to know that you're well," he said warmly.
Then, the countess approached and hugged them both, showing love in equal asure.
Aria smiled and introduced her new friend. "Let introduce you to my new friend, her na is Lysandra Bloodmoon," she said with a smile. The count and countess nodded politely and stood up to greet her with a noble greeting. "She's Anthony Von Valeriano's wife," she added afterwards. The expression on her parents' faces froze for a mont before regaining the smile on their faces.
They knew perfectly well the surna of House Dragon. After chatting for a few minutes, the four of them left the office.
Aria led her guests through the corridors of her house until they reached her room. Once inside, they settled in. "It was a long journey, I'm tired," comnted Daniel as he lay down on Aria's bed. She looked at him with dangerous eyes for a mont, but then ignored him. She was already used to it. She sat at the table with Lysandra and Jeane.
After a few monts, a maid entered with a tea jug. "Mila! Co and sit with us," invited Aria. With a shy expression, Mila sat down and began pouring tea into the respective cups. Aria looked at Lysandra with curious eyes. "Tell , how far have you and your husband gotten?" she asked with a smile.
Jeane and Mila's faces turned red, but they still paid more attention to the conversation.
Lysandra smiled as she took a sip of tea from her cup, but her eyes lost their usual sparkle. "I found out he got another woman," she said calmly. A shiver ran down Aria's spine. During the ti they had spent together, both she and Daniel and Jeane had witnessed how Lysandra reacted to the subject of her husband.
Whenever they ntioned sothing about him, her eyes reflected a deep love and an obsession that was unsettling. Aria swallowed hard, knowing this was a delicate topic; she had also found out that Charlotte Darkwood was engaged to Anthony.
Although she still maintained a smile on her lips, Lysandra's eyes reflected nothing but deep darkness. "After the second event, we'll have a conversation, just the two of us," she added.
