Licht’s vision changed instantly.
Colors twisted and ti fractured as the world warped around his eyes. Every second that passed Licht felt his senses expanding beyond human comprehension.
In that mont, what Licht saw was more than just a dragon.

He saw every life the dragon had ended, Every kingdom it had burned, every treasure it had stole
And sowhere within that inferno—

And now, as the Gaze of Greed descended, the Void itself beca a prison of tornt.
The dragon heard them—
The wails.
The Wretched and tortured screams of other dragons that had long lost themselves to this madness.
Their cries echoed in every direction—choking the air, warping the Void, poisoning every thought.
The dragon’s mind fractured, Its spirit shattered and at that lowest point, when all hope had evaporated into ash—

Before the dragon could begin to contemplate on the god like voice in its mind, chains of black-gold erupted from the Void.
They wrapped around its wings, its throat, its claws. The chains were shackles dragging the dragon down, squeezing, twisting and—
CRACK!
With one final snap, the massive beast popped into a streak of light—its physical form shattered, its soul compressed.
What remained was a glowing silver shield, floating silently in the darkness.
Licht blinked.
Then grinned.
And then—he laughed.
A full, unrestrained, tired laugh of soone who’d fought too hard for too long... and finally won.
