84 A Way Out

Knock, knock, knock.

At this mont, soone ca to the front door.

Luo Chen opened his mouth to let him in.

The security officer at the door rushed in and handed a letter to Luo Chen.

“President Luo, a person wearing a mask and sunglasses handed this to and left. He said that I had to show it to you.”

The security officer captain’s face was filled with anxiety. He also knew that sothing had happened in the company, and he had yet to find the real source.

“Okay.”

Luo Chen replied indifferently, not revealing much emotion.

After comforting the security officer and telling him not to be nervous, the security officer left.

Holding the envelope, Luo Chen’s eyes were filled with amusent.

It had been a long ti since he had seen such an ancient way of delivering a letter. Could it be that the other party also had so scruples, so they did not even show their faces?

He had a faint guess in his heart. Under Shen Shuyi’s nervous gaze, he opened the letter.

Previously, when he asked the security officer, he said that other than the fact that the person who ca to deliver the letter was a man with a dium figure, there was no other information.

In fact, the person’s clothes should have been carefully considered. He did not reveal his identity from head to toe.

In order to ensure that there were no unnecessary accidents, the security officers did not detain him.

After all, the company was bearing a huge storm. Once there were additional complications, there would probably be an even more uncontrollable chain reaction.

“Yo, looks like they’re still very well-prepared. They didn’t even reveal their handwriting.”

Luo Chen said with interest and showed the letter to Shen Shuyi.

Actually, the content was very simple. It was just a threat. It said that if Luo Chen still did not know what was good for him and didn’t stop the construction project, he would teach him a lesson.

Every word was pieced together with words cut from the newspaper and stuck together crookedly. It looked very awkward.

However, Luo Chen did not take this threat to heart.

He was the villain!

This was not in the original plot, and he was the one who lost this competition.

Therefore, if he wanted to turn the situation around, he had to take things step by step and not let Luo Tianming take advantage of him.

According to the plot, because of Luo Chen’s failure in this competition, it had brought a lot of trouble to the entire Luo Family.

It was also because of this that he lost Luo Zhenhua’s trust, causing his status in the Luo Family to plumt.

Later on, because of the support of the engineering project, Luo Wen rose all the way. In the end, he completely overshadowed Luo Chen.

Although the current plot was very different because of so of the previous choices, overall, this battle between the east and west was still the most important.

“Who exactly is it? They’re clearly targeting you. So many people have been poached away. The salary alone is an astronomical figure every day, right?”

After reading the letter, Shen Shuyi could not help but look worried.

She had never experienced such comrcial competition.

In the past, even if there were so unavoidable disputes in business, most of them were using proper thods.

No matter how one looked at it, such a direct threat to one’s personal safety was unacceptable.

“It’s fine. You don’t have to worry about it. I’ll handle it. Try your best not to implicate the Shen family.”

Luo Chen waved his hand indifferently.

In any case, they were all targeting him. As long as he dealt with them without any problems, he would not implicate others.

“How can I not care! No matter what happens to our Shen Family now, we’re already completely tied to the Luo Family!

Besides, the two of us have known each other for so long. It’s even more impossible for to watch you suffer and stay out of trouble!”

Without thinking, Shen Shuyi said the truth in her heart.

As soon as she said this, she suddenly realized that her words were a little ambiguous.

She wanted to correct herself, but it did not seem appropriate.

In a dilemma, Shen Shuyi’s beautiful face turned red.

Luo Chen’s eyes widened in surprise.

From the beginning to the end, Shen Shuyi’s attitude towards him could not be considered friendly. At most, it was because they needed to cooperate, so they could not avoid interacting.

But now, sothing seems to have changed?

“I’m already very touched that you have such thoughts, but you really don’t have to worry too much. I’ll definitely make those who dare to be arrogant in front of pay the price.”

Luo Chen smiled and gave Shen Shuyi a way out.

Otherwise, he felt that Shen Shuyi’s face was so red that it was about to bleed.

“That’s good. If you need any help, you must let know. Don’t stand on ceremony.”

After muttering this sentence, Shen Shuyi hurriedly packed her things and ran out.

The office fell silent.

“Pfft…”

The secretary couldn’t hold it in and laughed out loud.

This earned Luo Chen a half-smile.

...

“I’m sorry, Young Master. This is the first ti I’ve seen President Shen so shy.”

The secretary hurriedly bent down and said very sincerely.

“Not to ntion you, this is the first ti I’ve seen it.”

Luo Chen shook his head and smiled bitterly.

He stopped thinking about it. The most important thing now was to make up for the losses of those workers.

A day of closure at the construction site would cause huge losses. With Luo Chen’s current ability, he could only bear it for three days at most.

If it continued, it would delay the construction period. Not only would it bring trouble to the company, but even the various companies that had already invested would ask them to compensate for the breach of contract.

“Contact all the companies that are interested in investing in the bidding. I want to et them. Don’t do it in the na of the bidding. Do it in my own na, understand?”

Luo Chen turned to look at the secretary.

“No problem, Young Master. I’ll contact them now. The ti will be set to be two in the afternoon.”

After returning to her professional state, the secretary agreed and imdiately started preparing.

...

2:00 P.M.

Luo Chen arrived at the eting room on ti.

Actually, he did not know how many people could co this ti.

Since sothing had already happened at the construction site and the other party had co prepared, it was definitely unrealistic to find the workers who had left in a short period of ti.

Only by informing the various companies and seeing what they thought could they decide on the next step.

As Luo Chen thought this, the person in charge of the first company had already pushed open the door and walked in.

“President Luo, I’ve heard a lot about you. Seeing you today, your reputation is indeed well-deserved.”

That person was in his thirties. He was originally expressionless, but when he saw Luo Chen, his expression imdiately changed to a smile.

“Sit down first. There are still many people who haven’t co.”

Luo Chen nodded at him and gestured for him to go ahead.

The first person-in-charge sat down, and the others arrived in ten minutes.

Looking around, the entire conference room was already filled with people.
