CRACK!

With one bite, he devoured half of the god's head and then smiled like a lunatic.

The gods recoiled in horror and fury. The woman with the single curved horn stepped back, her eyes narrowing in displeasure.

"Enough!" she roared. "Kill him—now! All of you!"

The gods surged forward, their forms blurring into streaks of red and black.

Each bore weapons or wielded elental powers, with flas and shadows twisting around their bodies.

One god, his arms engulfed in dark red flas, lunged, fists swinging in rapid succession.

Each punch ignited the air, leaving trails that seared everything in their path.

Reign didn't dodge. He welcod the onslaught, letting the first few punches slam into his chest. The flas scorched his body, yet his grin only widened.

"That tickles," he growled, before seizing the god's flaming arm and twisting it with bone-cracking force.

The god scread after his limb got tore from its socket.

Wasting no ti, Reign swung the severed arm like a club, bashing it into another enemy.

The fight was far from over.

Dozens of sli like tendrils whipped through the air, aiming to bind him and sap his strength.

But Reign's eyes glinted with anticipation as he let one tendril coil around his arm.

"Gotcha," he snarled, yanking the god toward him.

The god stumbled forward, eyes wide with shock just before a fist smashed into his face.

BOOM!

His head exploded into pieces.

The others hesitated, montarily stunned by the brutal scene.

'Aren't they too weak?'

They lacked the strength of the golden individual he faced before.

"Who's next?" Reign taunted, blood dripping from his hands as he surveyed the survivors.

Another opponent raised his hands, summoning shadows that to engulf Reign completely.

Darkness closed in around him like a suffocating shroud.

"Hahahaha!"

Reign's laughter echoed as he ripped it casually.

Erging from the darkness unscathed, he set his sights on another target.

The clash turned into an all-out brawl, but they quickly realized their numbers ant nothing against such overwhelming power.

"Retreat! This being is a Higher God!" the female commander shouted, activating an artifact that whisked her away in an instant.

The others tried to follow her lead, but none escaped.

Reign activated his ti-stop ability again and consud them one by one.

When ti resud, he found himself alone in the sky once more.

'They call themselves gods, but without true damage, they are only stronger than the archangels,'

They were still far from Lilith's or Lucifer's caliber. Even Kang—despite his flaws—would be stronger than them.

'But they called a Higher God… so there are stronger levels here. Good. I hope soone can actually give a real challenge.'

He decided to land on the ground—sothing there caught his attention when he was sent flying earlier.

Touching the soil, he closed his eyes and sent ripples of energy downward, feeling the land unfold in his mind.

'There's a barrier underground,'

Focusing his thoughts he summoned a drill made of pure energy, he forced his way downward, tunneling through the earth until he reached the barrier.

'What is this thing?' he knocked on it, only to feel every vibration and pulse of energy vanish the mont it touched the surface.

It was tough—resilient—and pushed back against him.

"There's nothing I can't destroy," he grumbled.

Pressing his finger against the surface, he gathered different kinds of energy—mostly death—and blasted it through.

Nothing. The barrier swallowed his power whole.

But then, out of nowhere, his portable teleportation device began to beep. In the next instant, he passed through without resistance.

'This thing is really useful. As expected of my other self.'

He continued drilling deeper, breaking through layers of stone and earth, until he finally reached what he thought was the bottom.

To his surprise, the descent shifted. Instead of falling deeper, he found himself climbing upward.

What greeted him was another world—a hidden realm teeming with towering trees and lush greenery.

"A world within a world? And it has its own gravity too? This place is even more interesting than I thought," he murmured, eyes gleaming with curiosity.

anwhile, in the Runic Zone, the female god reappeared inside a vast flying city large enough to house millions.

The guards there were stunned to see her in such a panicked state.

"I have no ti to talk—I need to et the King imdiately,"

She stepped through another portal that brought her closer to the central palace—a place built of gray stone and lined with towering, gothic-style pillars.

In the throne room sat a towering figure, nine feet tall, his body rippling with muscle. His face was humanoid, save for the magma-like texture of his skin, which glowed faintly beneath his dark tallic armor.

"Speak, my child," his voice reverberated off the stone walls.

"My King, we ca across an unaffiliated entity. I attempted to bring him to our side, but… he slaughtered us. I was the only one who made it back."

"Slaughtered your whole unit ?" he raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, my King. I thought he was rely strong… but he displayed power comparable to a Higher God."

This ti, his face twitched. Though they all called themselves gods, their ranks were clearly divided: Low, Middle, High, Higher, and Highest.

Her team was composed of herself, a Middle God, and her subordinates—each a Low God.

Even the King, despite his stature, ranked only as a Higher God.

"Tell more about this new entity,"

"He was so fast, my King… I couldn't even react. It was like ti froze"

He didn't respond right away, instead touching his chin in contemplation.

"It might have been an isolated ti-stop," he murmured. "If it wasn't, I would have felt it."

"My King, you an… he has the sa power as Chronos? A Highest God?"

He shook his head. "No, that can't be it. It's more likely he used an artifact to freeze all matter within a specific area."

"It's also possible that what he stopped wasn't ti itself, but rely your perception of it. That can be done with high-level illusion magic."

Silence filled the hall as he closed his eyes, lost in thought.

"We don't have the manpower to pursue a being of his caliber, so consider this a loss and move on."

She lowered her head, biting back the urge to protest. "Understood, my King,"

"Good. Now go and assemble a new team. We still need to win this war, only then can we push through to that other world."

Authors Note:

I'm back to uploading daily. The reason you're not seeing the updates right away is because the new chapters are locked under privilege, which I've kept super cheap 1 coin per chapter.

Once enough privilege chapters stack up, they'll unlock in bulk.

For example: with one chapter released per day, it takes five days for the next tier of 25 advanced chapters to appear.

I will be doing this until I reach 50 chapters privilege.
