Reign flexed his muscles, checking his body to make sure everything was in place.

He had died—or at least, he had made it look like he did.

In reality, his loss to Vinsh was no accident.

Reign knew that killing the Demon King repeatedly was pointless, because of the presence of the ta-human.

So, instead of wasting his energy in a direct confrontation, he devised a plan to deceive everyone.

The real risk was whether his body could withstand the attack, but it was a gamble he had to take.

Of course, he wasn't dumb enough to leave everything to chance.

The mont the punch landed, he had already lessened the impact by a huge amount.

That was the real reason his body didn't explode into pieces on the spot.

From there, he allowed Vinsh's power to gradually break down his body while he concentrated on protecting his core.

He cloaked it with the system ability, effectively masking his life signature and energy.

All he needed to do was wait for the right mont.

With what little remained of his consciousness, he waited patiently, biding his ti until the coast was clear.

He knew rushing would only risk exposing his true intentions. All he had to do was endure long enough for everyone to believe he was really gone.

Finally, he activated Nirvana, a one-ti skill he had earned after reaching Demon King status.

As long as any part of his body remained, he could regenerate.

However, the process ca at a cost. In exchange for survival, he lost a huge chunk of his power.

It was a steep price to pay, but far better than losing his body entirely.

Now, healed, he took a mont to reflect.

'What now?' he thought, scanning the area.

There were no traces left of the group—no signs of the boy, Vinsh, or anyone else.

They had successfully escaped through the portal. The only problem was, Reign had no idea how to follow them. He needed a way through.

He approached the portal, studying its ancient structure.

'Living beings can't pass, but energy can,' he mused.

Reaching out with his power, he let it flow over the surface of the portal, feeling the subtle pull of energy beneath it.

"System, scan it," he commanded.

[System Scanning: Estimated ti 1 hour]

An hour. That was a long ti to wait, but Reign had no choice.

While the system worked, he replayed the fight in his mind, focusing on the boy with the annoying ability.

That kid was the sole reason everything had beco so complicated. If it weren't for him, Reign would have easily killed everyone.

'I hate to admit it, but I can't do anything unless I deal with that brat first,'

'Let's see...' his thoughts trailed off as he ntally replayed the events, searching for any detail he might have overlooked.

There was sothing off about how the boy's power worked.

No visible change had occurred in the environnt when the reset occurs. Yet sohow, their bodies and clothes had reverted back.

'If the boy can reset both living and non-living things like clothing, where does the power stop?'

Reign's thoughts raced as he analyzed every detail.

At first, he assud the power was tied to ti itself, resetting the monts before their deaths.

But if that were true, why did they still rember everything that happened?

Ti reverting back should erase mory. But they all rembered.

'What am I missing?' he muttered under his breath.

Then, the realization hit him.

'What if it's not ti that's being reset? What if the boy is undoing death itself, erasing damage rather than rewinding ti?' The idea began to take shape in his mind.

The boy's power wasn't about controlling ti; it was about negating effects.

He could undo the harm to living things and their imdiate surroundings—like their clothes—but nothing else in the environnt changed.

'If that's the case, then that plan might actually work,' Reign smirked.

He planned to run his theory with the system once it finished its scan, but for now, he focused on the portal.

The system's voice pulled him back to reality.

Reign opened his eyes and imdiately began reviewing the information he got.

The invisible barrier could be manipulated by energy but required a specific frequency.

As he absorbed the information, he noticed a particular wavelength resonating with the portal's structure. This could be his way through.

Fortunately, he was equipped to mimic this energy through his system cloaking.

Without wasting ti, he began adjusting the intensity and frequency of his energy.

A subtle vibration filled the air as the barrier responded.

The vibrations grew stronger, and he could feel his energy stabilizing.

Slowly, a small opening appeared.

'This is it,'

He stepped closer, ready to leap through, but hesitated.

After this, there was a big chance he could no longer return, or that even his soul might not be able to transfer back to his original body.

'No, I can't stop now. If I really need to gain more power, then I have to take the risk,'

The stakes were high, but the potential rewards outweighed the dangers. He should push forward, no matter the cost.

Even Vinsh, who was using his original body, had gone through with it, so Reign knew he had to do the sa—especially since he was using a second body.

He drew in a deep breath, ntally going over his plan one last ti.

Then he took the step, and as he did, it felt like passing through water—cold and refreshing, as if his entire body was being cleansed of impurities.

Unlike previous teleportations he had experienced, this ti he didn't lose his vision.

Instead, he found himself inside a tunnel, surrounded by a fluid-like substance that resembled water, giving the sensation of being subrged.

The soft currents swirled around him, invigorating his senses as he moved deeper into the unknown.
