The last group to show up were the officials of the airship—the captain and a few other high-ranking officers.

Their uniforms looked brand-new , with patches that showed off their ranks, and they moved to the front where all the caras were waiting.

They made sure to dress well for this occasion, because they planned to create a docuntary showcasing their first successful mission.

They would broadcast it across the continent to boost everyone's morale.

It might sound boastful, but this was actually a strategy devised by the higher-ups, who recognized the importance of giving the population hope.

In a ti of uncertainty, a well-crafted narrative of victory could reignite faith in humanity's resilience and strength.

Of course, this could also backfire. If, for so reason, they failed, the repercussions would be dire.

But looking at the Behemoth's capabilities, it was hard to fathom a scenario where they would lose.

"Thank you all for being here today," the captain began, his voice strong and steady."

"My na is Captain Thomson ,and I'm honored to introduce you to the Behemoth. "

"This ship is the pride of Tempest Fort and a symbol of humanity's fight against the corrupted that have destroyed our world. We're not just here to showcase our technology; we're here to show that change is coming."

As Captain Thomson finished his introduction, excitent surged through the journalists gathered around.

But the excitent extended far beyond them; the entire city of Green Valley was also tuned in.

Whether in hos, on smartphones, or in coffee shops—were all glued to the live telecast.

Classes were paused, kids glued to their phones, teachers abandoning lessons to watch this mont.

As the atmosphere thickened with anticipation, the journalists eagerly raised their hands, ready to fire off their questions.

Captain Thomson gestured to one of the reporters, it was Cassy.

"Captain, can you tell us more about the capabilities of the Behemoth?

"This airship is equip with state-of-the-art weaponry and advanced shielding systems, it's designed to withstand powerful attacks that could level a city," He explained, though he didn't delve into the specifics.

"What threats do you anticipate facing during this mission? Will it be primarily corrupted entities, or do you expect other forces at play?"

"We're prepared for any kind of threats, so you don't have to worry. Everyone is safe now that we are here."

Another journalist interjected, urgency in her voice. "What asures are being taken to ensure civilian safety during operations? The people of Green Valley are very anxious."

"Civilian safety is our utmost priority. And with Behemoth, gone are the days when we have to stay on the defensive. We can now bring the war to them before they even breach our barrier!" he announced, his voice echoing with conviction.

Residents watching the interview were filled with hope.

Now, knowing they had a way to fight back gave a huge boost to their confidence.

"It's ti for us to claim what's rightfully ours,"

As his bold claims resonated through their screens, cheers erupted from living rooms, cafes, and shops across the city.

People jumped to their feet, clapping and shouting, as if their voices could rally the entire city .

Back in the interview.

A reporter in the front row stood up, but unlike the others, he looked visibly frustrated and challenged the captain.

"How do you respond to the criticism that Tempest Fort is only sending forces now? Reports say dozens of cities have already been destroyed, with tens of millions of lives lost! Why did you co so late?"

Everyone fell silent, and so shifted uncomfortably in their seats.

Captain Thomson's expression also shifted, his brows furrowing slightly at the unexpected question.

They had instructed all the journalists to steer clear of controversial topics, but one had slipped through the cracks.

Unfortunately, this was live television, so he had no choice but to respond.

He paused, weighing his words carefully before speaking.

I appreciate your concern and understand the frustration many feel. However, those rumors are baseless, and whoever is spreading fake news will be held responsible," he said firmly, quickly denying the claims.

He then gave a subtle cue to one of the soldiers to remove the troublemaker.

The journalist wanted to say more, but before he could, he was quickly neutralized and taken out .

While this was happening, the threat they were discussing had already infiltrated the airship.

Reign quickly took out a guard and disguised himself as one.

It worked perfectly to his advantage that most of them kept their helts on, allowing him to avoid detection for the ti being.

Plus, everyone was so focused on the interviews and the excitent outside that no one paid attention to him.

'How easy would it be to sabotage this place right now? But where's the fun in that? '

He wanted to make a statent.

Destroying this giant airship with overwhelming force would send a clear ssage: the new Demon King was in town, and he wasn't soone to be ssed with.

The more epic and one-sided his victory was, the more fear he would instill .

He continued walking deeper and deeper. From the outside, it might have looked like he was just killing ti until Celine and the others got out of the city.

But the truth was, he had co here for another reason.

He wanted to check if they had brought any ta-Humans on board.

To him, their presence was the one thing he needed to worry about most.

Why ?

Because ta-humans' powers could not be asured by traditional ans, as they were simply too broken and unpredictable.

For example, even if he was strong, if he fought soone who could kill him by just uttering the word "Die," then that would be the end of it.

It might sound like an outrageous ability, but it wasn't entirely impossible.

Their powers defied logic and conventional understanding, after all.

"Hey, you. Stop!" a voice echoed from behind.

When he turned around, he saw a woman in an orange jacket ant for engineers.
