In that fleeting mont, the world seed to hold its breath as my blade descended.
Light wavered, and the air grew still, silenced by the impending strike.
My once-golden pupils, now tinged with hues of purple and blue, were constricted to re dots as I beheld the world frozen in that singular instant.
Ti itself seed to stop as I decisively brought down the Evolution Sword.

From the blade’s tip, a line of absolute darkness erged, slicing through everything like a scythe through wheat.
It spread like a sinister shadow, devouring everything in its path.
Tens of thousands of Chaos monsters stood petrified, their forms cleaved cleanly in two by the razor-sharp line of darkness. The cleaved bodies then fell and disintegrated away, dissipating into nothingness.
Even the colossal eye that lood ominously in the sky was not spared from the blade’s wrath.
Kaboom!
It split apart, ending in a huge explosion of darkness, covering the sky, and taking the vast horde of Chaos monsters with it.
Everything unfolded in the blink of an eye, and ti resud its relentless march forward.
But the black line made by my blade didn’t stop.
It stretched towards infinity, cleaving through the fabric of space as effortlessly as a knife through butter, a single black vertical line splitting the world in two.
Rumble!
The earth trembled beneath our feet.
Boom!!!
Followed by a deafening roar that reverberated through the dungeon as the world began to crumble around us.
Crack!
Mirror-like fissures plagued the sky, tearing and swallowing the dungeon itself.
"Adrian!"
The mont Rachael witnessed such a horrifying sight, she scread in disbelief and rushed towards to support my faltering figure, fragile as a candle fla in the wind.

Blood-red system notifications flashed urgently.
[Dungeon has been cleared.]
[Dungeon rewards have been transferred to the system’s storage.]

But amidst the devastation and warnings, my focus remained solely on Rachael.
"Rachael..."
I turned and called out to her. My voice was barely audible, but before I uttered another word, my strength gave out, and I collapsed to the ground.
"Adrian!!!"
Thankfully, with lightning reflexes, Rachael caught in her embrace, preventing from crashing to the ground.
"Rachael... Cough! Cough!"
"Yes, yes, I am here... Don’t speak. So much blood is coming out!"
Frantically, Rachael wiped the blood from my face, her hands trembling with fear as she shifted into a more comfortable position.
"Please, Adrian, let help you lie down; don’t."

But I interrupted her, grabbing her wrist and locking eyes with her in a mont of seriousness.
"Do you trust ?"
"Of course I do. But you shouldn’t speak so much."
Despite her serious reply, there was an underlying urgency in Rachael’s voice, a desperate plea for to conserve my strength and hold on until help arrived.
But instead of heeding her words, I offered a soft smile and spoke with heartfelt sincerity.

Rachael’s eyes widened at my heartfelt declaration, but before she could react, my heavy eyelids fell shut, and darkness enveloped my vision.

With so many things left to do and my Soul Sense reaching its limit, I focused all my energy on manipulating my soul in accordance with the system’s instructions for the Soul Bound Contract.

Drawing upon the sa technique I had used with Daisy, I commanded my soul to reach out and establish a connection with Rachael’s.
Even though my condition was worse than last ti, I was a lot stronger than before. Not to ntion, Rachael’s feelings for were far more desperate and deeper than Daisy’s.
This made it easy for to connect with Rachael’s soul, and right away, many invisible tendrils appeared from my body and went into hers.

My soul tendrils accelerated forward, traversing through Rachael’s body like a hot knife through butter, propelling inexorably towards her soul.
With Rachael’s feelings for at their peak and still constantly increasing, her soul was even more vulnerable to mine than Daisy’s had been.
Encountering no resistance, my soul tendrils split and inserted themselves at the core of Rachael’s soul before withdrawing back into my body, carrying fragnts of her soul with them.
Despite the fact that there were more soul fragnts than Daisy’s, my soul still had absolute control over them and quickly chained them up.
Everything happened in the span of a heartbeat, and what followed was Rachael’s loud scream.
"—Ahhhhh!!!"
But despite her agony, Rachael clung to with a fierceness full of desperation.
She refused to let go even as her screams faded, her consciousness slipped away, and her body collapsed alongside mine with a soft thud.
Our bodies quivered, and cold sweat trickled down my pale cheeks.
Subconsciously, I held Rachael tightly against , and a hot sensation spread throughout my entire being.
Of course, I had not truly fallen unconscious. I was rely pretending, and even though my eyes were closed, all my other senses were perfectly fine.
Soon, I felt a mysterious connection form between and Rachael, and then a familiar chi rang out, signaling the successful establishnt of the Soul-bound contract.
