Villain Ch 874. Morning Date [Part 1]

Allen revved the engine. Its powerful growl resonated through the early morning streets. The cool breeze of morning brushed against his face, a contrast to the heat still lingering from his intense workout at the gym. He glanced at his phone, re-reading the text he'd just sent to Larissa.

Allen: Be there in 30. Can't wait to see you.

He smiled, imagining her reaction. But instead of heading straight to her apartnt, Allen had a different plan. He twisted the throttle, the motorcycle surging forward with a roar. His destination? A flower shop he knew well, nestled in a quiet corner of the city near her apartnt.

The flower shop ca into view, a small, charming place with a colorful display of blooms spilling out onto the sidewalk. The shop was owned by an elderly couple who had been running the place since they were young. Their children had grown up and moved to other cities, visiting only occasionally, so they were usually alone.

Allen parked his motorcycle and swung his leg over the seat, feeling the satisfying click of his shoes on the pavent. He removed his helt, shaking out his hair, and took a deep breath of the fragrant air.

The shop's bell jingled as he pushed open the door, the familiar scent of flowers washing over him. Inside, the couple was busy arranging flowers. Allen approached them, his presence imdiately catching their attention.

"Good morning, young man!" the elderly woman said with a warm smile. Her husband, standing beside her, nodded in greeting.

"Good morning!" Allen replied, returning their smiles. "I'm here for a bouquet of flowers, not too big since I'm on the bike."

The elderly man looked up from his work and asked, "Any particular flowers in mind?"

Allen chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Honestly, I'm not very good at this. I was hoping you could pick and assemble sothing nice for ."

The elderly woman's eyes twinkled with understanding. "Is this for your lover?" she asked gently. Find your next adventure on My Virtual Library Empire

Allen nodded, a soft smile spreading across his face. "Yeah, she's a fitness instructor."

"Well then," the woman said thoughtfully, "how about sothing fresh and vibrant? Maybe a mix of lilies, daisies, and a few roses for a touch of romance?"

"That sounds perfect," Allen agreed.

"Great! It'll only take about ten minutes," she assured him.

"Alright, I'll hit up the café next door and grab so food while you put this together," Allen said. Yeah, flowers and food were the best combo.

He paid for the bouquet and stepped back outside. He glanced at the café next door, a cozy little spot that always slled like freshly baked bread and brewed coffee.

The café was quiet, only a few patrons scattered around, sipping their morning coffee or reading newspapers. Allen approached the counter, where a young barista greeted him with a cheerful smile.

"Good morning! What can I get for you today?" she asked.

"Morning," Allen replied. "I'd like to order so healthy food to go. Sothing with lots of protein and veggies."

"Sure thing! How about our grilled chicken and quinoa salad? It cos with a side of stead veggies."

"That sounds perfect. I'll take two of those," Allen said, nodding approvingly.

"Coming right up! It'll just be a few minutes," the barista said, ringing up his order. Allen paid and stepped aside, glancing around the café as he waited. His mind drifted to Larissa, picturing her smile when she saw the flowers and the food. He couldn't wait to see her, to spend the morning together. The anticipation made his heart race a little faster.

A few minutes later, the barista called out his na, holding up a bag with his order.

"Here you go! Two grilled chicken and quinoa salads, to go," she said, handing him the bag with a smile.

"Thanks a lot," Allen said, taking the bag. He stepped back outside and walked back to the flower shop, the bouquet waiting for him.

As he entered, the elderly couple looked up, the bouquet ready and wrapped in a delicate paper. It was a beautiful arrangent, vibrant and full of life, just like Larissa.

"Here you go, Allen," the elderly woman said, handing him the bouquet. "I hope she loves it."

"I'm sure she will," Allen replied, his heart swelling with gratitude. "Thank you so much."

"Anyti, dear," she said with a smile. "Have a wonderful day."

"You too," Allen said, carefully taking the bouquet. He stepped outside, balancing the flowers and the food, and walked back to his motorcycle. He secured the food and carefully held the bouquet as he mounted the bike.

He rode through the streets, heading towards Larissa's apartnt, and couldn't help but feel a surge of excitent. The morning air was crisp and invigorating, the city now fully awake and bustling around him. He navigated through the traffic with ease, the bouquet cradled securely in one arm, the anticipation of seeing Larissa driving him forward. It was a weird feeling for sure, at least for him.

It was the sa feeling when he got ho from his tournant two years ago. But he knew it wouldn't end like in the past.

Allen pulled up to Larissa's apartnt building, his motorcycle purring to a halt as he parked. With the bouquet of flowers in one hand and the bag of healthy breakfast from the café in the other, he took a deep breath. He secured his bike, double-checking everything before heading towards the building entrance.

He stepped into the lobby and walked up to the reception desk where a middle-aged man with a friendly smile was seated.

"Good morning," Allen greeted, shifting the flowers in his arm. "My na is Allen, and I'm here to see Larissa."

The receptionist looked up from his computer, recognition flashing in his eyes. "Ah, yes, Allen. Larissa ntioned you'd be coming. She left a spare key card for you." He turned to retrieve a small envelope from a drawer.

Allen felt a wave of relief wash over him. He had been slightly worried about getting access to her apartnt. "That's great, thank you so much."

The receptionist handed him the envelope with the key card inside. "Here you go. This will give you access to the elevator and her floor."

"Thanks, I appreciate it," Allen said, taking the envelope. He turned and made his way to the elevator. The lobby was quiet, the soft hum of air conditioning and the occasional murmur of conversation the only sounds.
