Villain Ch 839. One Rotten Apple Could Spoil The Whole Barrel

Allen's expression brightened. "This ga for sure," he said, a note of determination in his voice. "I'll send the list of other gas to the rest of you. I'm aiming for NPCs that are quite famous or maybe even trademarks of the ga."

Jane imdiately jumped in. "We'll help you with that, Allen. Don't worry."

Shea chid in, her tone practical and encouraging. "Also, I'm sure you'll need a decorating vendor, too?"

Allen turned to her, nodding. "Yes, but Kai says he can handle it. He knows the right vendors and I've seen their portfolio. They're really good."

Shea smiled, relieved to hear that things were falling into place. "Good to hear that."

Larissa stepped forward, her expression serious but supportive. "If you need our help, just say it. We're here for you."

Allen felt a wave of gratitude wash over him. "I will, don't worry. I appreciate it, really."

A familiar voice interrupted. "Hey, Allen. I didn't expect to et you here."

Allen turned to see Jas approaching, a broad grin on his face. Right behind him was Noah, who greeted him with a nod. "Looking good, Allen. I saw your video on the forum. It was so cool."

Allen offered them a formal smile. "Thanks. Why are you here?"

Jas pointed over his shoulder with his thumb, gesturing towards a team not far from them. "We just ca back from hunting. The emperor's servants were ssing around in this dungeon earlier, so we thought we'd try to hunt them down. But it looks like we're late. We didn't find any of them."

Allen couldn't help but glance at the girls, giving them a flat stare that clearly said, "I thought you were hunting monsters, not players." The girls responded by glancing to the other side with innocent faces, their expressions a picture of feigned innocence.

Allen returned his gaze to Jas and Noah, noting the genuine enthusiasm on their faces. His eyes shifted briefly to the team behind them, catching sight of Elio among the group. For a mont, their gazes t. Unlike their usual interactions, which were often tinged with hostility and competition, there was no trace of hatred this ti.

Elio gave him a subtle nod as a greeting before turning his attention back to his team. It was a small gesture, but it spoke volus about a tentative truce or at least a mutual respect that had developed over ti.

Allen also noticed Liam and Darren standing nearby. Unlike Elio, they seed unwilling to acknowledge his presence. Their faces were a mix of embarrassnt and reluctance, as if they were still grappling with the events that had transpired. They didn't even look in Allen's direction, their eyes firmly fixed on their own teammates or the ground.

Allen scanned the group and realized that Sophia was conspicuously absent. Instead, there were two new healers standing where she usually would have been. They seed nervous, probably still getting accustod to their roles within the team. Allen could guess what had happened with Sophia. Still he was curious. Had Elio finally decided to replace her, or was she simply lying low after the recent drama?

The dynamics of the group had clearly shifted. The presence of new mbers and the absence of Sophia indicated that changes were happening.

Allen fixed his gaze on Elio and the others, then turned back to Jas and Noah. "I see you guys are training new healers for the next event."

Jas nodded, a note of sarcasm in his voice. "Yes, but it looks like it's not just for the event."

Allen raised an eyebrow, catching the ironic undertone. "So, Elio has kicked her out?" he asked, barely holding back a grin.

Noah sighed, shaking his head. "Unfortunately, not yet. You know the thread, right? Even though it's starting to be buried, Elio said it was still too soon to make a move. If he kicked her out too quickly, his reputation would take a hit. So, he's decided to hold off."

Allen scoffed, understanding the political maneuvering. "Makes sense." He glanced at Noah and Jas, then allowed a smirk to spread across his face. "But if I were him, I wouldn't let a rotten player stay on my team for too long. One rotten apple could spoil the whole barrel. You should be careful."

Jas chuckled darkly. "Trust , we're all aware of that. It's been a nightmare dealing with her drama." Find adventures on My Virtual Library Empire

Noah nodded, his expression grim. "We've been trying to work around her, but it's not easy. She has a way of causing problems wherever she goes."

Allen's smirk widened. "Just make sure she doesn't drag you down with her. It's bad enough she's a liability in the ga. You don't want her affecting your standing in the community too."

Jas and Noah exchanged glances, clearly sharing Allen's sentints. "We're doing our best," Jas said. "But it's hard when she's still technically part of the team."

Allen looked Jas and Noah squarely in the eyes, his expression serious. "I'm just reminding you guys about that. I never joined the event, but I followed the thread. I can say she treated Elio very badly. Elio clashed with several tis to defend her, yet she simply tarnishes his reputation like that. I don't want to defend Elio either, but I feel sick about it."

Jas frowned, nodding in agreent. "Yes, I thought the sa thing. It's like she's dragging everyone down with her. Elio doesn't deserve this kind of backlash because of her."

Noah sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's frustrating. We've tried to address it within the team, but she's always deflecting bla. It's exhausting."

Allen crossed his arms, leaning slightly against a nearby stall. "I've seen it happen before. One person causing so much disruption can break a team's spirit. You guys need to be careful and make sure she doesn't affect your performance. The last thing you need is internal conflict."
