Villain Ch 671. Who's The Winner?

Allen and the girls found themselves back at the front of the Cursed Crypts. They exchanged glances, their anticipation palpable as they turned their attention to the glowing screen in front of them. Numbers and stats danced across the display, detailing their conquests. Excitent filled the air, knowing that the winner would receive a wish from all of them.

Zoe was the first to speak, her voice filled with confidence. "Ti to reveal who wins between us," she declared, a smirk playing on her lips. Her eyes sparkled with anticipation as she looked around at her companions.

Alice t Zoe's gaze with a confident smile of her own. "Who cos first?" she challenged, her tone daring the others to match her level of enthusiasm.

Allen observed his companions one by one, a faint smile playing on his lips. He rembered how it was him who had eagerly accepted Zoe's bet, but now, as they all stood there, it seed like the girls were the ones who were truly pumped up about it. 'Guess they're all itching to make a special request,' he mused silently to himself, his mind working in overdrive.

"," Bella declared proudly, her voice ringing out in the virtual space. "I've wrecked 31 buildings, taken out 59 NPCs, and sent a whopping 1,201 players back to their respawn points. Total tally: 1,291," she rattled off, her confidence practically oozing out of every pore. Bella knew she had racked up an impressive number of player kills.

Alice piped up from beside her. "Hey, Bella, rember, we're only counting player kills here. The rest doesn't matter," she reminded her friend, shooting her a playful glance.

Bella's expression didn't falter. "Right, right," she acknowledged, undeterred. "So, 1,201 players it is," she reiterated, her tone as sure as ever.

"I'm 1,223 players. I win," Alice announced her count.

Bella's confident facade crumbled faster than a sandcastle at high tide. Her mouth dropped open in disbelief, and the gleam in her eyes dimd considerably. "Wait, what? But... but I had..." she stamred, her words trailing off as she realized she had been outdone.

Alice, on the other hand, wore a triumphant grin as she proudly declared her victory. "Yep, 1,223 players, baby! Thanks to my trusty shadow creature," she boasted, a hint of smugness creeping into her voice.

"I'm 1,313 players," Vivian said, raising her hand in embarrassnt.

Vivian's admission caught everyone off guard, including Alice. "Hold up, 1,313 players?" Alice exclaid, her eyebrows shooting up in surprise. She turned to face Vivian, a mix of shock and admiration written all over her face. "How in the world did you manage that? I had to rely on my shadow creature for most of mine," she asked, genuine curiosity lacing her words.

Vivian shrugged nonchalantly, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Oh, you know, just a little Charm skill action," she replied, her tone casual despite the impressive feat she had just disclosed. Vivian was a succubus queen after all, and her ability to use her skills creatively never failed to impress.

Jane's disappointnt was palpable as she sheepishly admitted her own tally. "Ugh, I'm only at 1,293 players," she muttered, her confidence taking a nosedive as she realized she hadn't quite asured up to the others.

"I only managed to kill 1,101 players," announced Shea in a relaxed tone.

Shea's announcent was t with a collective raised eyebrow from the group. Her relaxed deanor in the face of what seed like defeat left them all a bit puzzled. Zoe, in particular, couldn't help but turn to her with a mix of surprise and incredulity written all over her face.

"Why do you look so chill about that? You're not bothered by losing?" Zoe questioned, her disbelief evident in her tone. It was odd hearing her usually competitive and fiercely determined mother brush off a potential loss with such nonchalance.

Shea's response was accompanied by a smirk, and she crossed her arms in front of her chest with a confidence that bordered on cockiness. "Hey, I'm a siren, rember? My skills are all about crowd control and manipulation. Killing isn't really my forte," she explained, her voice oozing with self-assurance.

"Besides, no point crying over spilled milk, right?" she added, shrugging off any hint of disappointnt.

Zoe couldn't help but find Shea's reaction a bit unsettling. Her mother had always been one to strive for excellence and detest anything less than victory. To see her take defeat so lightly was definitely out of character. But, deciding to let it slide for now, Zoe turned her attention back to the matter at hand.

"Well, as for , I've racked up a solid 1,520 player kills," Zoe announced proudly, her competitive spirit shining through despite Shea's unexpected reaction. She wasn't about to let anyone forget that she was a force to be reckoned with in the ga.

Larissa's disappointnt echoed through the virtual space as she realized she had narrowly missed out on victory. "Ah! That's so close," she groaned, her hopes of winning dashed in an instant. With a resigned sigh, she confessed her final count, her tone heavy with disappointnt. "I only have 1,501 players," she admitted, the disappointnt evident in her voice.

Zoe couldn't contain her excitent as victory seed within her grasp. A wide grin spread across her face as she declared, "So I win!" Her jubilant tone filled the air, her competitive spirit shining through as she basked in the glory of her impending triumph.

But just as Zoe was reveling in her victory, Allen dropped a bombshell that left everyone speechless. "I have killed 2,823 players," he announced casually, his voice cutting through the mont like a knife. The sudden revelation sent shockwaves through the group, their faces mirroring a mixture of disbelief and awe as they turned to him in unison.

Their curiosity piqued, they crowded around Allen, eager to see the evidence of his incredible feat displayed on his hologram screen. "What?! How?!" Larissa exclaid, her voice tinged with disbelief as she stared at the screen in awe.

Zoe couldn't help but voice her incredulity, her disbelief evident in her tone. "You were literally only strolling around," she protested, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion as she struggled to make sense of Allen's unexpected revelation.

Allen's frown deepened as he defended himself against Zoe's accusations. "Hey, I also spamd my area skills, ya know," he retorted, his tone defensive as he sought to justify his impressive achievent. Despite the skepticism, Allen remained steadfast in his claim, his confidence unwavering in the face of their disbelief.

Alice's complaint rang out, laced with a hint of whine as she voiced her frustration. "We did the sa thing, so why is your result better than ours?" she grumbled, her tone tinged with envy.

Allen's response was swift and smug, his grin widening as he explained his strategy. "I strategically deployed my skills in areas with high player traffic, maximizing my effectiveness. Plus, I targeted buildings where players were likely to be hiding, racking up extra points," he boasted, his confidence evident in every word.

But before their conversation could continue, Emma's voice interrupted them, dripping with irritation. "You guys sure had a blast, huh?" she remarked, her annoyance palpable as she observed their animated discussion. It was clear that she felt left out or perhaps frustrated by their focus on the ga.

The unexpected voice caught their attention, prompting them to turn their heads in unison towards its source. To their surprise, a raven was flying nearby, its dark wings slicing through the virtual air. As it swooped closer, the bird morphed into the form of a female player known as BattleGoddess, her expression soured with a hint of disappointnt.

"I wonder if dad will ever let join you guys at an event like this," she muttered, her voice tinged with longing.

Allen gently placed his hand on Emma's head, a reassuring gesture that spoke volus. "You wanna give it a shot? I'll help you talk to him," he offered, his tone warm and encouraging.

Emma's face lit up with gratitude at Allen's offer. "Thanks!" she exclaid, her eyes shining with excitent at the possibility of joining her brother in the next event. It was clear that she had been longing for the chance to participate, and Allen's willingness to help her made her heart soar.

But before they could delve deeper into their conversation, a sudden notification appeared on the hologram screen, causing Emma to furrow her brow in confusion. "Hm? Oh, it's a text from Azura. This isn't normal," she murmured, her surprise evident in her voice as she read the ssage.

She scanned Azura's ssage. Her confusion only deepened, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of urgency. "I need to text her back. Sothing's up," she explained, her tone tinged with concern. Without hesitation, Emma made the swift decision to log out, disappearing from the ga in the blink of an eye.
