Capítulo 2019: Endless PvP

Villain Ch 2019. Endless PvP

Allen stood alone at the center of it all.

The battlefield stead around him. Ash drifted through the air. His wings slowly folded back into his body, dissolving into shadow as his Demonic Form tir ticked down.

He looked up.

At the crowd.

At the caras.

At the millions of eyes burning holes through the screen.

And he smiled.

Not wide. Not friendly.

Just enough.

A wicked curve of the lips that said ‘yes, you saw this right.’

The cheering intensified.

People scread his na. His na.

“ALLEN!”

“ALLEN!”

“DEVIL EMPEROR!”

The VR pods hissed open.

Steam poured out as players disconnected, legs unsteady, hands shaking from adrenaline dump and sensory overload.

Red stumbled out of his pod, bracing himself against the side, chest heaving. His face was pale, sweat-soaked, eyes unfocused for a second as reality snapped back into place.

Alex fell to his knees beside his pod, hands trembling. “Damn…” he whispered, voice breaking.

Mastercraft just sat there, staring at his hands, breathing too fast, laughing once in disbelief. “I didn’t even… he looked at and I froze…”

Across the room, Allen’s pod opened.

He stepped out calmly.

No rush. No heavy breathing. No shaking limbs.

Just a quiet exhale as his boots touched the floor.

The room slled like coolant and sterilized tal. Fans humd overhead. Staff stared openly. So in awe. So in fear. So in outright admiration.

Vivian stretched beside him, rolling her shoulders. “Mmm. Crowd loved you.”

Bella laughed. “They’re clipping your smile already.”

Jane adjusted her gloves. “Casual massacre. Efficient.”

Zoe cracked her neck. “I didn’t even get tired.”

Shea grinned. “My DMs are going to be a warzone.”

Allen didn’t respond.

He just stood there, letting the crowd roar around him like an oncoming storm. Every cara in the stadium pointed toward the stage. Dozens of drones hovered midair, capturing the aftermath from every angle. From his vantage point, Allen could see the glow of phones, the wave of people pressing against barricades, faces flushed with adrenaline, mouths open in awe, or laughter, or disbelief. All of them drunk on the spectacle. But he didn’t flinch. Not a twitch.

Allen’s gaze finally turned toward him.

Elio was out of his pod now, eyes bloodshot, lips parted like he’d started a sentence and forgot how to finish it. The rest of his team stood nearby, Gil was still catching his breath, Alex looked emotionally wrecked, Mastercraft just sat on the floor with a blank stare, and Jacob looked like he wanted to punch a wall. But they were silent.

Elio took a step closer, eyes locked on Allen.

“You’re just going to leave?” he asked, voice hoarse.

Allen didn’t answer right away. Then, finally, with that sa low, velvet tone, he said, “It was a good ga.”

Elio laughed. Short. Bitter. “You slaughtered us,” he snapped. “And you’re saying it was a good ga? I don’t get it.”

His voice cracked slightly. He forced it steady again.

“We were equal,” he continued. “Once. I an… you won solo tournant. I won team tournant. We stood on the sa damn stage once. We were… hell, we were the sa.”

Allen didn’t argue. He just let Elio get it out.

“But now…” Elio stepped closer, his fists clenched. “How could you… how could you be above ? What the hell happened? What did I miss?”

The crowd quieted slightly, sensing the tension. So even stopped filming.

Allen blinked slowly.

Then, quietly, like it was nothing, he said, “You didn’t miss anything.”

Elio frowned.

Allen’s eyes were calm. Focused.

“You’re right. We were equals. Once. But that was back when we were playing the sa ga.”

He tilted his head slightly.

“You trained for tournants,” Allen said. “You trained for scheduled fights. Your guild protected you. Your matches had boundaries.”

He paused.

“I trained in the wild.”

Elio’s breath caught.

Allen didn’t let up.

“All this ti, every ti I logged into Hell’s Gate, it was endless PvP. Monsters and players. Field bosses. Rogue PKers. Ambushes in dungeons. Every fight? Real ti. Every battle? Survival. No rules. ”

His voice dropped, just a notch, but it carried.

“I am the core of the ga.”

And just like that, it clicked.

Gil muttered, “Shit…”

Alex lowered his head.

Because yeah… it made sense. The title Devil Emperor wasn’t just flavor text. It wasn’t a skin.

It was forged in the hellfire of living inside a system where everyone could kill you, and everyone wanted to.

Allen trained PvP every ti he logged in.

No breaks. No protection.

That… made a difference.

Elio tried to speak but no words ca. He looked like soone had pulled the floor out from under him. All the pride. All the belief that they were equals. It lted under Allen’s gaze like wax under fla.

Allen looked at him for a mont longer, then simply said, “I fulfilled my promise.”

He turned to leave, his boots echoing softly on the tal panel floor.

“Congratulations on your win.”

And just like that, he walked off.

His team followed behind him like the royalty of a darker court.

Zoe walked with a cool, collected grace, her expression unreadable, like nothing could touch her, even here, with lights and caras in her face.

Vivian flipped her hair as she passed the nearest lens, smirking like she knew every viewer on the other side was already obsessed.

Bella adjusted her jacket with a theatrical flair, stepping in rhythm like she was on a runway, each movent dripping with confidence and showmanship.

Jane said nothing, but the quiet curve of her lips and the deliberate pace of her steps made it clear, she was satisfied.

Shea moved with a dancer’s ease, casually humming a low tune under her breath, eyes half-lidded like she was still in the afterglow of battle.

Alice’s smirk playing on her lips as she scanned the crowd.

Behind them, silence stretched for just a second too long.

Then Gil said what everyone else was thinking.

“We won the tourney… but why do I feel like we’re the losers?”

No one replied.
