Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives Chapter 1936: Starved Lady
Villain Ch 1936. Starved Lady
Her mouth opened. Wide. Too wide.
The voice returned.
"Dinner... must... begin..."
The temperature in the room dropped so fast it was like reality had snapped. Frost crawled across the banquet table. The skeletons in their chairs shuddered in unison.
The lights flickered. The floor groaned.
Then she moved.
The Starved Lady scread—not sound, but pressure. The force of it slamd against their ears like air collapsing. And then she was gliding, jerking through the space between monts, her feet never touching the floor, her head still tilted sideways with that endless, torn smile.
And she went straight for Alex.
Allen moved, but too late—
[Target Acquired: Father^Alex]
[Curse Effect: Soul Fracture – Locked]
"Why ?!" Alex shrieked, running around the altar like a panicked rabbit in priest robes. "WHY ALWAYS —?!"
"She’s got a type!" Red_King shouted, charging after her, sword ready. He swung. His blade passed through her.
No damage.
Not even a reaction.
She kept gliding toward Alex, mouth yawning wider, black thread tearing with each unhinged grin.
Mastercraft tried a rune-based hamr slam—ground cracked. The statue shivered. The air rippled.
Nothing.
Allen narrowed his eyes. His daggers ready but held tight. The usual connection—the hit feedback, the timing rhythm—it wasn’t there.
He lunged anyway. Slashed—
No impact. No pushback. Just the sound of his blades cutting through fog.
The ghost twitched mid-air. Turned. And for a mont—
Her face was right in front of Alex’s.
Cracked porcelain skin.
Red eye leaking ink.
Black stitches twitching in her smile.
Alex scread. "Barrier—!"
A golden do flashed around him. Holy Barrier. Lasted ten seconds at most.
The ghost slamd into it with a screech, hissing, her face lting against the do like oil on glass.
The room shook.
Mastercraft skidded beside Allen. "We need to do sothing!"
Red_King panted. "Any ideas that don’t involve dying?!"
Allen was quiet for half a beat.
Thinking. Watching.
And then—
He muttered, "Holy power..."
They looked at him.
Allen’s eyes sharpened. "Those things. They detect holy power. That’s why she’s locked on Alex."
"So your point is?!" Mastercraft snapped.
Allen’s eyes flashed. "Holy water."
Alex peeked from behind the barrier as it flickered. "What?! I have holy water! But how am I supposed to give it to you while I’m being stalked by this horror thing!?"
"Trap her in your barrier," Allen said. "Then give it to us."
Alex nodded like he was going to puke. "O-okay! Okay—on three—no, two. No, wait—"
Too late.
He cast again. The Holy Barrier flared, trapping the ghost mid-lunge. She writhed inside, her head twitching unnaturally, the whites of her eyes flaring with bloodlight. She scread.
Allen flinched. Just slightly.
"NOW!" Alex ran—slid beside them, opened his inventory with a shaky hand, and dropped three glowing flasks of shimring liquid into their shared trade window.
Allen grabbed one.
So did Red_King.
Mastercraft snatched his like it owed him money.
[Item Applied: Blessed Water]
[Weapons Infused – Duration: 30 minutes]
[Status: Now Able to Harm Spectral Entities]
The holy water burned across Allen’s daggers with a cold fire. Blue light wrapped the blades like threads of moonlight pulled tight.
He smirked, flicking his wrist. "Let’s go."
Red_King cracked his neck. "Exorcist ti."
Mastercraft grinned. "Let’s make her wish she stayed dead."
The barrier shattered.
The ghost howled.
And this ti—
They hit back.
Allen moved first. Fast. Silent.
He flickered behind her in an instant, daggers drawn in reverse grip. Slash to the back. One arc through the neck seam. A follow-up attack sent holy-poison energy bursting through her cracked torso.
She shrieked and turned to him—
But Allen was gone. Already rolled to the side. Always just out of reach.
Red_King ca next, roaring with fla-enhanced buffs, his greatsword slamming down across her shoulder and slicing through. The ghost reeled, her black dress splitting open with shrieking shadows pouring out.
Mastercraft launched a hamr-flare combo, his enchanted weapon spinning once mid-air, slamming into her legs. The floor cracked with a blessed rune burst.
Alex stood back, healing aura wide, shield refresh ready. "She’s targeting again!"
The ghost twisted in mid-air, head snapping back toward him.
"GUYS—!"
Allen landed between them. "I got her."
He jumped, daggers flashing, slicing across her midsection in a cross pattern. Her body shuddered like glitching code.
She scread again—
But weaker.
They were hurting her.
[HP -28,039]
[HP -44,910]
[HP -56,002 CRIT]
Allen slid beneath her next lunge. Whispered, "Wrong priest," and shoved his dagger into her spine—or where it should’ve been.
The ghost shattered backward—bones cracking in midair—then reford in a flicker of red fog.
"Phase two incoming!" Mastercraft called out.
The lights died.
Only red mist.
She reappeared on the ceiling, crawling upside-down. Her limbs cracked in reverse again.
Red_King barked, "Alex—buff !"
"I’m TRYING!"
The Starved Lady dropped straight down—
Allen vanished in shadow. Teleported behind her. Struck her back with twin dagger art—two holy-infused stabs that glowed blue-white.
She writhed.
Then burst into black ash—
But didn’t vanish.
Instead—
A shadow of her face appeared in the center of the air.
And it smiled.
[Final Phase Triggered]
The skeletons in the chairs stood.
Slowly.
One by one.
Heads tilting. Jaws clicking open.
Alex whispered, "Oh no."
Allen growled low. "One wasn’t enough?"
"Of course not," Mastercraft muttered. "This is Hell’s Gate."
"Then let’s clear the table," Red_King grinned. "Dinner’s over."
And the battle wasn’t done.
Not yet.
But now?
They were ready to feast.
The skeletons around the banquet table rose with jerking, stuttering movents.
Each of them dressed in once-opulent finery now moth-eaten and soaked in so inky residue. Fractured masks hid their eyeless faces. So still clutched knives. One had a napkin folded delicately over its ribcage like it still rembered table manners.
Famished Guest
Ravenous Noble
Glutton of Rot
The system didn’t wait.
[Battle Phase: The Feast Begins]
Allen blinked. "That’s... a lot of them."
Red_King cracked his neck. "Oh, now this is what I paid a monthly sub for."
Mastercraft’s hamr burned to life with orange runes. "Let’s carve the at."
