Villain Ch 1896. You are Loud

A red flood surged down the hallway, swallowing corpses whole. The ones it didn’t devour were emptied. Collapsing like puppets with no strings left.

Bella leapt onto the top of a shattered hospital bed and pointed two fingers to the sky. "We’re doing crowd control now? Fine."

Her foot slamd into the tile.

"Earthquake Stomp."

The floor cracked and rolled like a living thing. Half the hallway caved in. Undead toppled into the hole, flailing. Bella followed it up with Thunderbolt, blasting three more ghouls that got too close.

"I hate this town!" she yelled.

Zoe roared and hurled a Tsunami through the far wall, smashing an entire wave of ghosts before they could surround Jane. "Less talking, more drowning!"

She grabbed an undead by the spine with a tentacle and snapped it like a glowstick.

"Allen!" Alice shouted, flying low over the chaos. "You alive down there?"

"I’ve had worse," Allen muttered, coughing. He stood. One shoulder dislocated. His ribs were definitely bruised. But his eyes were still locked on Elise.

She’d turned to Jane now.

And she was walking.

Not sprinting. Just slow. Purposeful.

Every step cracked the tile.

Jane backed up. "Uh... backup? Anyone?"

Vivian blurred in with her whip, spinning it like a propeller. "Hey, bride-zilla!"

Crack. Crack. Crack.

She lashed three tis. Fast. Precise. Targeting knees and joints. The Hollow Bride didn’t flinch. Didn’t bleed. Just... stood there.

Then turned to Vivian.

And scread.

Vivian’s body lifted off the ground like she was caught in a wind tunnel, slamd into the ceiling, and then hurled back down through two floors of concrete and fla.

"VIV!" Zoe roared.

"I got her!" Shea dove after the falling succubus like a missile.

"Jane, bind her!" Allen shouted.

Jane slamd her staff into the floor.

"Undead Grasp."

Dozens of skeletal hands burst from the tile, wrapping around Elise’s legs. It held her in place for half a second. Then she howled again, and the hands exploded. Bone dust filled the air like cremated confetti.

"She’s learning," Jane hissed. "She’s adapting—"

"Then so are we," Allen muttered.

He flicked a hand.

"Demonic Orbs."

Dozens of orbs spiraled into existence around him, each glowing red-black, swirling with compressed energy. He hurled half at the incoming townsfolk. Explosions lit up the corridors. Bone, ash, fla, blood. The dead scread without mouths and kept coming.

The rest of the orbs locked onto Elise.

She turned her blank face toward them. Raised a hand.

The brand on her chest glowed.

A barrier snapped into place—shaped like a ring.

The orbs hit.

They shattered.

But the explosion still pushed her back.

Enough for Alice to toss a Void Sphere behind her.

It sucked in four ghouls, a rogue IV stand, and the remains of a stretcher before detonating in a flash of violet shadow.

Zoe landed beside Allen, one arm bleeding. "This is hell."

"I’ve been to hell," Allen replied calmly. "Hell was cleaner."

"Suggestions?"

Allen’s eyes narrowed. "We need to break the brand."

"That’s like saying, ’we just need to stab the sun.’"

"It’s still a plan."

Suddenly, a dozen townsfolk ghosts poured through the left hallway—limping, crawling, so screaming, others whispering the Hollow Bride’s na.

Larissa darted through them like a shadow. Her claws danced. Her whip sang. She drank one’s blood mid-step and spat it out, gagging. "Ugh. Rotten. But effective."

Jane slamd her staff again. "They’re endless. It’s like fighting grief with sticks."

Bella roared. "Then let’s set grief on fire!"

She launched an Ice Storm into the ceiling. Spikes of ice rained down, impaling half the approaching wave. She followed it with Fireball, lting the ice into a scalding mist. The screams were like lullabies in hell.

Allen grabbed his blade with both hands. His aura was flaring again, pulsing so hard the hallway shook.

[Demonic Aura 8:03 Remaining.]

"Line up," he growled. "She’s gonna scream again."

"You think?" Alice muttered, floating up. "I’ve heard quieter volcanoes."

"Jane, prep Death Nova."

"Oh? That one? That’s the good dress," Jane grinned, eyes glowing. "You got it."

Allen stared straight at Elise, his eyes cold. Calculating.

She stood across from them.

Unmoving.

But her head tilted again.

And she opened her mouth—

Another wail was coming.

But this ti?

They were ready.

Allen didn’t wait for it. The second the Hollow Bride inhaled—that sharp, jerking breath that always ca before she blew the world apart—he vanished.

’Void Mirage.’

’Shadow Step.’

The afterimage he left behind shimred like oil on water. A perfect copy, still standing in front of her, blade raised. The Bride wailed at it, voice splitting the walls apart, the pressure snapping bones in the corpses nearby like twigs. The floor cratered beneath her shriek.

But Allen was already behind her.

Silent.

Eyes cold. Calculating.

Her veil fluttered.

He struck.

Blade angled low—upward slash aid to carve through the base of her spine. If she was human, it would’ve severed nerves, left her paralyzed. But she wasn’t. The sword bit flesh anyway, deeper than before. Her body lurched. She turned mid-scream, her hand already sweeping around.

Allen dropped low, sliding under it.

The mont her arm passed, he twisted and stabbed into her exposed ribs.

[Critical Hit!]

Still not enough.

She whirled. He kicked off the ground, flipped over her like a shadow peeling off the floor, and vanished into another Shadow Step, reappearing behind a ruined hospital column.

"Focus on ," he muttered under his breath. "Co on."

And she did.

The Hollow Bride turned, claw raised, and dashed toward him with jagged, jerking movents. Like a stop-motion doll possessed by grief.

Allen didn’t move.

Not yet.

He watched her. Her angles. Her timing. Her path.

She lifted both hands—claws ready to slam down.

He stepped forward, into the attack.

Her claws ca down.

But he slid just between them—precise, minimal movent. Her fingers scraped stone as he turned and slashed straight across the glowing brand on her collarbone.

The strike connected. Sparks flew. Her body screeched, like tal being torn in half.

She staggered.

Her mouth opened, but no sound ca out. Just steam.

"Good," Allen said softly, stepping back.
