Chapter 1835: You’re Blushing

Villain Ch 1835. You’re Blushing

“GET AWAY FROM THE GRATES!” Arcana scread, slashing undead with clean, furious strokes.

Bella’s magic ca next.

A storm hit the plaza. Ice spears. Lightning arcs. Wind blades that decapitated a full squad in one go.

Her laugh was soft. Flirty. Blood-covered.

She danced on the edge of a rooftop, her nine tails flicking like she was performing fanservice while murdering people.

Then the sky went black.

Like a sun being snuffed.

Because Allen descended.

Not from a portal this ti.

He just… appeared.

Floating ten feet off the ground.

Coat rippling.

Sword glowing.

Eyes locked on Elio.

His presence crushed the air around him.

[Countdown: 14:59]

Soone gasped, “It’s the Emperor—!”

Allen tilted his head.

Then slamd into the ground.

“Abyss Shatter!”

The cobblestone cratered.

A dark shockwave pulsed in every direction.

Players flew back like rag dolls.

The closest twenty?

Their armor shattered.

Their bodies broke.

Every bone.

Every joint.

Blood sprayed in arcs, misting the square.

[Player MisterCarry has been slain.]

[Player CryoSenpai has been slain.]

[Player BigTiddySorc has been slain.]

Allen exhaled once.

Like boredom.

Then smiled once his gaze landed on her, at Azura.

Her stomach dropped. Her pulse hamred so hard she swore the whole raid could hear it echo off the cobblestones.

‘He’s going to kill !’ Azura thought, panic bubbling in her chest. ‘He’s going to kill , and it’ll be just like all the others.’

She pulled both blades free, steel glinting under the blood-red light of the event sky. Her hands shook, but she forced them still. Everyone else was already charging, screaming, dying. If she didn’t fight—if she just stood there—people would notice. Arcana. Red_King. Elio, still staggering back to his feet with half his ribs caved in.

If she didn’t swing at Allen, her secret would be obvious.

So she raised her blades.

And Allen—

The Devil Emperor—

Started walking toward her.

Not rushing. Not teleporting. Not even lifting his sword. Just that calm, predator’s stride that said the outco was already decided.

Azura bit her lip so hard it nearly drew blood. ‘Dammit, why do you have to walk like that?’

She lunged. Fast. Spun her right blade down toward his ribs.

-CLANG!

Allen sidestepped, lazily, like he was swatting away a leaf. His sword lifted just enough to parry the strike with the flat of the blade. Sparks spat into her face.

He smirked.

Not just a smirk.

The kind of smirk that told everything.

The kind of smirk that said, ‘Ah… now you’re attacking . About damn ti.’

Her cheeks burned red under the gri and sweat. She wanted to scream. Or laugh. Or both.

“Fight , damn you!” she snapped, spinning again with both blades in a cross-cut.

Allen shifted sideways, catching the second slash on his hilt and letting her montum spin her off-balance.

He didn’t hit her. Didn’t cut. Didn’t kill.

Instead?

He killed everyone else.

A warrior scread behind her. Allen twisted, his blade flashing out like a crescent moon—clean through the man’s throat. His head spun away, body collapsing in a spray of arterial mist.

Azura gasped, stumbling back, but Allen just kept smiling at her.

She rushed him again—because what else could she do? Every second she wasn’t swinging at him was another second people would notice she wasn’t fighting for real.

Allen stepped back, graceful, his coat fluttering. A spear of light flew past her shoulder—Red_King had thrown a skillshot—but Allen swatted it away with a flick like he was brushing off lint.

Azura tried to stab into his side. He let her close.

Then his gauntlet snapped around her wrist.

She gasped, blade locked in place. He was warm. Hot, actually. The strength in his hand made her knees wobble.

Allen’s eyes glowed faintly crimson as he looked down at her. Amused. Hungry.

“You seem off today,” he whispered, voice low, dripping like honey laced with knives. His mouth was right beside her ear. His breath—hot.

Her face went nuclear.

“L-let go!” she stamred, trying to twist free. She shoved her other blade forward, aiming for his chest.

Allen moved before she even realized. He tilted the hilt of his sword up—CLANG—knocked her strike away, then spun her body with his grip still on her wrist.

Her back slamd against his chest.

She froze.

His arm pinned hers, steel cold against her throat. His head leaned down, lips grazing her ear, his cheek brushing her temple.

“Is it because of ?” he murmured again, softer this ti.

Her heart nearly exploded.

Around them, chaos reigned—players screaming, spells detonating, Zoe’s tentacles crushing squads whole, Shea’s feathers slicing through crowds like a blender. Blood pooled under their feet. The stench of iron, fire, and burnt mana filled the air.

And here she was.

Pinned. Pressed. Blushing like a schoolgirl in the middle of a goddamn massacre.

“I—I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she managed to spit out, voice shaking.

Allen chuckled against her ear. That cruel, knowing chuckle. “Liar.”

“Fight !” she hissed, trying to drive her elbow back into him.

He caught it. Effortless. Twisted her tighter against him, his chin brushing her shoulder now. His sword lashed out one-handed, beheading another paladin who had tried to flank him.

The man’s body collapsed at her feet. Blood splashed across her boots.

Allen didn’t even look at the kill.

His gaze was locked on her, playful and cruel.

“You’re blushing,” he said softly.

“I’m—what?!” she sputtered, face on fire.

“In the middle of battle,” he went on, tilting his head so his lips nearly touched her cheek. “You blush. Because of .”

“Shut up!”

He laughed again, low and dark. “Cute.”

Another wave of undead surged past them, Jane’s summons tearing into the crowd. Vivian’s whip cracked, Zoe’s tentacles snapped bone, Bella’s storm howled, Alice’s void sphere sucked in half a squad.

And Allen?

He let her go.

Just like that.
