Chapter 1593: Target Lock Activated

Villain Ch 1593. Target Lock Activated

Purify spells washed across the field. Healers surged forward. Sophia finally stopped posing and started healing more than herself. Justice.Bringer speared another elite mob clean through the chest. Warlord was on his sixth beheading and screaming like a man who’d just rediscovered his love for PvP.

But not Azura.

Because Azura wasn’t watching the line.

She was deep inside it.

Whirling.

Her twin daggers carved through the midriff of another incubi, severing his rope belt and slicing his glamoured chest open like it was paper. He let out a sultry gasp and winked as he fell.

“You’re so an~”

She rolled her eyes. “Try breathing through your lungs instead of your ego next ti.”

Then her daggers clashed with another weapon.

Only—this one wasn’t from the incubi.

It was… Lust.

Azura’s eyes narrowed.

The whip cracked toward her again without warning, hissing like it was alive. Azura ducked, flipped sideways, and slid across the blood-slick ground before springing to her feet again.

“You’re not in my lane,” she said, breathing heavy.

Lust smiled slowly, wickedly.

“That’s because you’re in mine, darling.”

The next strike wasn’t just fast—it was brutal. The whip arced toward Azura’s legs, coiled mid-air, and tried to snag her ankle. She slashed it away with a spark of magic—barely.

[Warning – Lust’s Target Lock Activated]

[You have drawn the attention of [Boss Monster: Lust]]

[All Aggro from Lust redirected to you. Escape impossible.]

Azura blinked as the system ssages flickered.

“You’ve gotta be kidding …”

She stepped back, heart racing.

The battlefield faded slightly. Not literally—but in the way fights sotis do when it’s just her and the monster, and the rest of the world fades into muffled noise and background screams.

Lust grinned wider, hips swaying like this was just a dance to her.

Azura hissed, “Why ?”

Lust tilted her head, her red eyes gleaming. “Because, sweetie…”

She cracked the whip again—once, for emphasis.

“…You got my attention.”

Azura dodged backward as the ground cracked from the whip’s impact.

“Because I stabbed your incubi?”

Lust rolled her eyes. “Please. I’ve lost count of how many tis they’ve been stabbed—and where.”

“Then what?!”

Another strike. This ti a feint.

Azura parried and twisted, trying to get in close—failed. Lust danced back, twirling like a perforr, the whip always between them.

“You’re different,” Lust said softly. “The way you move. The way they follow your lead. Even the way you deny yourself. It’s so… curious.”

Azura snarled. “You don’t know .”

“I don’t need to,” Lust purred, walking closer. “You’re the one pretending not to be curious.”

Azura lunged.

They clashed.

Blades against whip.

tal and sin.

Sparks flew.

Lust flicked her wrist, and Azura’s dagger flew from her hand. She caught it again mid-air, flipped, slashed, missed. Lust smiled. Again.

“See?” she said, voice honey-slick. “You want this.”

“I want you dead,” Azura spat.

“Sa thing,” Lust purred.

From the sidelines, Jas shouted, “Valkyrie! You okay?!”

She didn’t answer.

Because she wasn’t okay.

Every strike was faster. Lust didn’t fight fair. She didn’t tank. She didn’t burst. She played. Each movent was a trap. A test. A flirt.

And Azura, for all her assassin prowess, couldn’t ignore it.

She slashed Lust across the shoulder—finally. Blood blood like red ink over black leather.

Lust gasped—delighted.

“Ooooh. You really are fun.”

Azura was breathing harder now, sweat trickling down her cheek, eyes focused. Her teammates were still locked in their own fights—Warlord was literally grappling an incubi over a buff zone.

“Focus,” Azura whispered to herself. “She’s just a boss.”

Lust licked her lips. “Darling… I’m the only boss.”

Then she launched forward again.

This ti, she didn’t hold back.

[VirtualValkyrie receives double effect]

Azura’s steps staggered—her limbs felt hot, heavy, like her body was drunk on sothing that never touched her lips.

Her thoughts fuzzed for half a second—mories and impulses flickering across her mind like fevered dreams.

“Damn it—” she cursed, forcing herself to focus.

The whip lashed out.

Caught her wrist.

Pain.

Lust yanked.

Azura tumbled forward, straight into Lust’s embrace.

The whole world went still.

“You should really stop pretending,” Lust whispered in her ear. “It’s exhausting, isn’t it?”

Azura’s dagger plunged forward.

Not into Lust’s heart—she twisted too fast.

But it caught her in the side.

Deep.

Lust gasped, this ti with real pain.

Azura shoved away, panting. “I’m not pretending. I just don’t like you.”

Lust smiled, blood trailing down her lips.

“You will.”

Their eyes locked.

Another crack of the whip.

Another rush forward.

Another scream from sowhere behind—Arcana yelling for backup.

But Azura was in this now.

Locked. Engaged.

Lust was here to play.

And Azura?

She was here to end it.

But not by brute force.

Not by rage.

Azura needed a plan—because Lust wasn’t just strong.

She was seductive. Strategic. Manipulative.

So Azura exhaled, narrowed her eyes, and made a choice.

She gave in—just a little.

She dropped her stance, lowered her blades, and staggered back.

Lust tilted her head, amused. “Oh? Giving up already?”

Azura didn’t answer. She just panted, blinking slow, lips slightly parted. She let her body shake a little—let the illusion of weakness wrap around her like perfu.

Lust sauntered forward, whip spinning in lazy circles. “I expected a bit more fight from you…”

Azura took another half-step back, like she was retreating.

Lust reached out, fingertips glowing red. “Poor thing. Too much pressure?”

Just a bit closer.

Closer…

“Maybe you’re not as special as I thought.”

That was the last thing Lust said before Azura moved.

She twisted low, dropping into a sweeping kick that caught Lust off guard and cracked her balance.

Before Lust could recover, Azura vanished and reappeared behind her, both daggers drawn in reverse grip.

“Twin Fang.”

[Critical Chance Boosted – Surprise Attack Multiplier: x2.5]

Both blades sank deep into Lust’s back, right between the shoulder blades.

Lust scread—a mix of fury and genuine pain.

Azura whispered near her ear, “Gotcha.”

Lust spun, blood dripping down her sides, rage igniting her face.

“Oh, you b*tch—”

Azura smirked, eyes cold now.

“Still want to play?”
