Chapter 1526: Dragon Terror Cave

Villain Ch 1526. Dragon Terror Cave

anwhile, in Hell’s Gate.

The cave was dark. Not the “need a flashlight” kind of dark—this was the kind of suffocating black that clung to the skin like smoke and stung the eyes if the players stared too long. Cold, too. Not even the usual ga-generated chill. Dragon Terror Cave had its own brand of dread, like the air itself was warning players to leave while they still had the chance.

Allen didn’t listen, obviously.

He was already thirty steps in, cloak swaying behind him, the infernal glow of his passive aura casting faint red shadows across the jagged walls. The sound of dripping water echoed sowhere deep, mixing with the occasional tremble in the stone beneath their feet. Every few seconds, a growl would rumble far off—so massive creature waking up deeper in the cave system.

Behind him, the girls followed in formation.

Zoe’s silhouette slithered quietly across the wall like a living tide.

Shea hovered just behind Allen, her blade-feathers twitching as she glanced around.

Larissa, of course, didn’t look remotely concerned, her gaze scanning the gloom like it was ho.

Vivian cracked her whip once against her palm.

Jane’s skeletal minions clacked quietly behind them, one carrying a lantern that didn’t seem to help much.

“Creepy,” Bella muttered, ears twitching. “I like it.”

“You would,” Alice whispered. Her voice had that dreamy, slightly deranged tone she always got when the cave setting kicked in.

“This place stinks of molten sulfur and dragon sweat,” Vivian added, wrinkling her nose. “Allen, you owe us a spa day after this.”

Allen exhaled through his nose. “You say that like you didn’t beg to co.”

“Correction,” Shea said. “We ca to level up. And because Bella wouldn’t shut up about stealing dragon scales.”

“They sparkle,” Bella replied proudly.

Allen rolled his eyes but didn’t argue. They had a reason to be here—several, actually.

After handing off his abyssal alloy and infernal core to the Cursed Crypts’ blacksmith NPC, he’d expected to be back in action within the hour.

Wrong.

“Can only forge one item at a ti,” the blacksmith had grunted. “Sword first. Armor later. Co back tomorrow.”

Great.

So while his weapon was being reforged and his armor just sat in the queue, he decided to do sothing productive.

That’s when he rembered the Abyssal Dragon shards.

Technically, Allen already had enough of them. More than enough, actually. But a system tooltip he hadn’t noticed before caught his eye.

[Shards collected: 1080/600]

Additional shards beyond the requirent can enhance the summoned Abyssal Dragon’s stats or allow secondary summoning. Warning: revival process is irreversible once started.

Two Abyssal Dragons… or one absurdly overpowered monster with a stat boost?

Yeah. No brainer.

He was going full dragon.

And if they were going to defend their base against other guilds trying to dethrone the Devil Emperor, they’d need more than flashy titles and a cursed crypt fortress. They needed power.

Real power.

“Alright,” Allen said, finally stopping at a narrow passage flanked by broken dragon bones and scorched stone. “This next room’s the nest. Expect three to four Terror Drakes. AoE-heavy, high HP, weak to soul and wind-based skills. Don’t get caught in their tail sweep.”

“Copy that,” Zoe said. “I’ll suppress their movent.”

Shea rolled her shoulders. “I’ll go left wing. I’ve got Tornado Dive on standby.”

“Jane,” Allen said, “you ready?”

Jane’s eyes glowed faintly purple. “Always.”

“Good. Raise undead imdiately. We’ll funnel them to the right, blast them with AoEs, then clean up with singles.”

The group nodded.

Allen raised a hand.

“Abyss Shatter.”

He slamd his palm into the ground, sending a tremor through the stone as a wave of abyssal force exploded outward. The wall at the end of the tunnel cracked open, revealing a massive, smoke-filled cavern glowing faintly red from magma pools. And from within the dark ca the rumble of sothing waking up.

Four Terror Drakes crawled from the crevices—towering black-scaled beasts with molten breath and eyes like furnace coals.

Abyssal Terror Drake

“Go!” Allen shouted.

Zoe surged forward, her form twisting like a tidal wave. Depths’ Grasp erupted beneath the dragons, glowing chains of seaweed and shadow latching onto their legs and slowing them.

Shea launched into the air, wings flashing as Tornado Dive activated, sending a spiraling vortex of wind slashing into one of the drakes’ wings.

“Bat Swarm!” Larissa shrieked, her form dissolving into a mass of crimson bats that engulfed the second dragon.

Jane’s skeletal army surged into position—undead claws erupting from the earth, grabbing ankles and dragging one of the beasts down into the ground.

Corpse Explosion echoed as one of her minions self-destructed under the dragon’s snout, blasting bone shards and black fire upward.

Bella flicked her tails, laughing as she sent a barrage of Ice Lances and Thunderbolt into the third drake’s skull.

anwhile, Vivian darted forward with inhuman speed, her whip glowing dark purple.

“Rapid Slash!”

[Whip combo initiated!]

The sound of flesh tearing echoed through the chamber.

Allen’s hand raised, gathering dark clouds that sparked with demonic lightning.

“Dark Storm.”

He brought his hand down.

Lightning speared from the clouds, striking all four drakes at once. Roars shook the cave walls. The sll of burnt scales filled the air.

One of the drakes tried to charge him—big mistake.

Void Mirage activated. An illusion sprinted forward as Allen phased backward. The drake lunged—and triggered the detonation.

– BOOM.

Chunks of lava and bone flew across the room.

They kept fighting. They didn’t stop.

Within minutes, three of the Terror Drakes were down. The last one staggered, wings half-torn, as Alice stepped forward, a smile on her lips.

“Void Sphere.”

The dark orb spiraled forward, sucking everything around it into its vortex before detonating like a miniature black hole.

Silence.

– DING!

[Terror Drake defeated. 7 Dragon Shards acquired]

[Shard Total: 1087]

“That was easier than last ti,” Shea muttered, sheathing her wing blades. The dragons had a massive amount of HP than the normal monsters around that level.
