Chapter 1515: What Are You Looking For?

Villain Ch 1515. What Are You Looking For?

Mila hesitated.

‘About you,’ she wanted to say. But there was no way she could just throw that out casually—not with Vivian still nearby, not with everything so fresh and delicate between them. It wasn’t the ti.

So instead, she just forced a smile and said, “We’ll talk later. At the restaurant.”

Allen looked at her for a mont longer, clearly picking up the shift in her tone, but didn’t push. “Fine. See you there.”

Mila gave a small wave as Allen and Vivian turned to leave. The deep growl of his motorcycle echoed monts later, that signature low rumble that matched him perfectly—calm, controlled, undeniably powerful. She watched as the two of them disappeared around the curve of the parking structure, the tail lights blinking once before vanishing completely.

And then, she was alone.

Mila checked her phone again, waiting for her driver.

She sighed, leaning back slightly against one of the support beams in the garage, crossing her arms as she tried not to let her mind spiral too far. Of course her car had to be on another level. Of course the driver was taking his sweet ti.

The chill of the underground lot wrapped around her slowly, crawling over her bare arms. Cold. Still. Quiet.

And then the elevator behind her dinged.

She turned casually—only for her stomach to imdiately tighten.

Out stepped Sophia.

Just like that, as if conjured by a curse.

Their eyes t for a split second—enough to freeze the air around them—but Sophia quickly broke the gaze, stepping out with a sharp pivot of her heel and looking around the parking lot as if searching for soone.

Mila’s eyes narrowed. She didn’t move, but her heart thudded once. She knew that look. Sophia was expecting soone.

But when her eyes swept the lot again and found no one else but Mila standing in the quiet corner, Sophia’s expression shifted. Her brows knit together—confusion mixed with sothing heavier. Frustration. Maybe suspicion.

She turned to face Mila again.

Mila straightened just slightly, enough to stand her ground. She tilted her head, voice calm but not overly friendly. “What are you looking for?”

Sophia blinked like she hadn’t expected to be addressed. She opened her mouth, closed it, then offered a too-innocent shrug. “I heard… soone important was visiting today. A special guest.”

Mila didn’t reply right away. She kept her posture relaxed, chin tilted slightly, not leaning in, not flinching. “Important?”

“A man,” Sophia added, like it explained sothing. “Handso. That’s what they said.”

Mila raised an eyebrow, but didn’t react otherwise. She knew exactly who Sophia ant. Her pulse quickened—but she kept her voice neutral. “And?”

“Well…” Sophia’s tone grew more guarded. “I figured I’d… maybe get a glimpse. But Mr. Bell said no one like that was here today.”

Mila gave a faint smile. “Then I guess he was right.”

Sophia’s eyes narrowed slightly. “You’re here, though.”

“I’m a model,” Mila said plainly, brushing so hair behind her ear with practiced ease. “A high-class one. I’ve been working with this agency for a while now. Way before you joined, actually.”

Sophia stiffened at that, just a little.

Mila tilted her head the other way, watching her reaction closely. “Not sure why you’re so curious about whoever this mystery man is. If soone important did co, I’m sure Mr. Bell would’ve handled it himself.”

Sophia didn’t respond imdiately. Her posture was stiff, shoulders subtly drawn back, like she wanted to look composed but didn’t know how to stand anymore.

“You seed like you were waiting for soone,” she said suddenly.

Mila smiled, cool and unreadable. “Aren’t we all, sotis?”

Sophia’s lips tightened.

“I an,” Mila added lightly, “not that it’s any of your business, but I was waiting for my car. Unlike you, I didn’t show up today hoping for a man.”

Sophia scoffed. “You’re assuming a lot.”

“Maybe,” Mila said, eyes still locked on hers. “But you walked off that elevator like you expected to be greeted. By soone specific.”

Silence.

Sophia glanced away, then back again, clearly wrestling with sothing behind her eyes.

“I just think it’s strange,” she said eventually. “Everyone suddenly acting weird. Staff disappearing. Security being tighter than usual. Models I didn’t expect to see today showing up.”

“Well,” Mila replied with a shrug, “maybe the world doesn’t revolve around you.”

Sophia didn’t flinch, but her mouth pulled tighter.

Inside, her heart was racing. Not out of fear—but because she could feel the tension in the air. Sophia knew sothing didn’t add up. Maybe it was instinct. Maybe it was jealousy. Maybe it was that little voice in her head screaming that soone else was moving in on what she used to have.

Mila didn’t need to prove anything. She didn’t owe her an explanation. And she definitely wasn’t going to throw Allen’s na into the conversation now. Sophia didn’t deserve that satisfaction.

Mila’s driver finally turned the corner, the sleek black car gliding into view like a shadow on cue—polished, professional, and perfectly tid. It was the out she needed. No hesitation. She offered Sophia a faint, polite nod, one that gave nothing away. “Enjoy your afternoon,” she said, voice light but firm.

Then she turned, heels clicking with crisp confidence across the concrete. The driver stepped out, opening the rear door with practiced grace. Mila didn’t glance back—not even a flicker. But she felt it. Sophia’s stare. Heavy. Piercing. Burning straight between her shoulder blades like it wanted to pin her to the pavent and demand answers.

She slid into the backseat with asured calm, the soft click of the door sealing her in like a vault. The tinted windows turned the outside world into blur and shadow. Mila didn’t speak. She didn’t breathe deep. But her hands curled tightly in her lap, fingers flexing once, twice.

It wasn’t fear.

It was the shift.

Sothing had changed—and she knew it. The roles had been redrawn. The pieces moved. And this ti, she wasn’t the outsider, watching from the margins.

She was inside the story now.

And the story was watching her, too.
