Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives Chapter 1474: Real Fear
Chapter 1474: Real Fear
Villain Ch 1474. Real Fear
The emperor’s voice was low, smooth, and deceptively calm, like a whisper before the scream. But then his expression shifted. That smirk sharpened into sothing darker. His lips curled, and his glowing crimson eyes narrowed with an intensity that made Erenblade’s stomach twist.
An evil grin.
Not mocking.
Not playful.
Predatory.
And then—he moved.
Faster than before.
No warning. No flash. No skill indicator. Just sheer speed.
Eren barely registered the movent before the Devil Emperor was on him. Their blades clashed once, the screech of tal cutting through the thick dungeon silence, but Eren’s arms almost gave out from the impact.
“Shit—!” he hissed, stumbling back, trying to gain footing.
The Emperor didn’t give him the chance.
He lunged again, blade a blur, and Eren instinctively activated Blade Mirage, flickering to the left. His afterimages threw off the first strike, but the second one ca with a brutal feint—and connected.
[You took 2,478 damage]
[You took 3,093 damage]
[Bleed Status: Active]
‘He’s too fast.’
Eren dropped low and countered with Piercing Waltz, jabbing upward at a desperate angle. The first thrust landed—almost landed. The second missed. The third—caught on the Emperor’s pauldron and bounced off like it hit a wall. Which ant… He used Barrier.
“Co on,” the Devil Emperor growled, voice rumbling with excitent. “Where’s that fire you had earlier?”
Eren panted, backing off, but the dungeon’s terrain was closing in—columns, jagged rocks, shadow creeping like ink across the floor. Every step he took, it felt like the space shrank.
“Fight !” the Emperor roared.
Eren’s eyes widened.
The Emperor wasn’t toying with him anymore.
He was hunting.
“I—!”
The words caught in his throat as the Devil Emperor dashed forward again, slamming his blade down with brutal precision. Eren barely blocked, sparks flying, his HP bar draining with every failed parry.
This wasn’t a duel anymore.
It was survival.
And still… still… sothing inside him refused to run.
He had to see this through. Elio had survived a fight like this. Maybe even held his own. And if Elio could do it—
The Emperor’s blade caught his side.
A flash of crimson. A horrible tearing sound.
[Critical Hit!]
[Movent Speed reduced by 20%]
“F*ck—!”
Eren stumbled, blood gushing across the dungeon floor, his breath ragged. He tried to retreat, raising his rapier with shaky hands, only for the Emperor to slam him against a wall with a single punch.
The sound echoed. Concrete cracked behind him. His gaze flashed red.
He was pinned.
The Devil Emperor leaned in close.
So close.
Their faces were re inches apart.
Eren’s blood dripped down the Emperor’s cheek, trailing along the edge of his smirking mouth.
The Emperor’s voice was a low purr now, sothing sickly terrible.
“This is what real fear tastes like, isn’t it?”
Eren trembled. Not from pain.
From terror.
The kind that no raid boss, no bugged dungeon, no PvP god had ever made him feel.
The Emperor didn’t have to shout. He didn’t have to go full AOE or spam broken skills. He fought like a nightmare—personal, precise, cruel.
And he was completely unscathed.
Not a scratch.
Not a scuff.
Eren’s vision blurred as he coughed blood, still trying to move, still trying to fight.
A sliver of pride whispered, ‘You’re still on your feet.’
But his body said otherwise.
He activated Silver Riposte, hoping—praying—for a miracle.
But the Emperor saw it.
Anticipated it.
Parried the counter like he’d read it ten seconds ago.
“No,” he whispered. “That won’t save you.”
And then—
A single thrust.
Demonic Lance.
Not overkill. Not flashy. Just fast and lethal.
It punched through Eren’s chest.
His vision went gray in an instant.
[You have been slain by the Devil Emperor.]
The world slowed.
In those last seconds before he faded to respawn, he saw the Emperor still standing close. Eren’s blood had splashed onto his face, sared across one cheek.
But the Emperor didn’t wipe it away.
He licked his lips, savoring it.
“Next ti,” the Devil Emperor whispered into the fading light, “be stronger.”
Erenblade’s body fell limply to the cold stone floor of the Hall of Silence with a sickened thud, his armor clanking softly as it settled around him. His eyes remained open, frozen in a mixture of terror, disbelief, and resignation as his body shimred lightly—waiting, in helpless limbo, for respawn.
Silence echoed through the dungeon. The players hidden behind rocks and shattered pillars stared numbly, too frightened to even breathe loudly.
Then the Devil Emperor laughed.
A rich, deep sound. It rang through the dungeon like the tolling of a bell, sharp and lodic and sinister. The sound alone sent chills crawling up every spine in the room.
Eren’s fading consciousness could still hear him. Humiliation twisted his gut. Rage and sha battled inside him—but even stronger, he felt fascination. The Emperor was unstoppable. And despite the sting of defeat, Eren couldn’t pull his gaze away.
Suddenly, footsteps echoed from deeper in the dungeon.
Urgent, heavy.
A familiar figure appeared through the portal first—Gil paused, assessing the situation instantly.
His eyes widened in shock and anger at Eren’s fallen body.
“Elio, hurry!” Gil shouted behind him, already slipping into a fighting stance.
Elio erged next, armor glowing softly with golden light. His eyes narrowed at Eren’s prone form.
“Dammit,” Elio whispered, voice low and tight. “Eren…”
The Devil Emperor’s eyes glead with renewed delight. “Oh good. Finally, so real entertainnt.”
Elio stepped forward, his jaw set hard. “You’ll pay for this.”
The Emperor tilted his head, amused. “Will I now?”
He moved faster than Eren had ever seen—straight toward Elio, blade raised, body poised for battle. Elio lifted his sword just in ti, holy light flaring as the weapons collided. Sparks showered the floor as both warriors slid back slightly from the sheer force of impact.
Gil vanished instantly, shadows swallowing him whole. In seconds, he reappeared behind the Emperor, daggers aiming precisely for vulnerable spots, fast and lethal.
