Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives Chapter 1428 - 1428 Mad Scientists
Chapter 1428: Mad Scientists Chapter 1428: Mad Scientists Villain Ch 1428.
Mad Scientists The needle struck the wall behind him with a sickening shhhlick, the liquid inside sizzling against the tal.
The wall lted instantly, corroding in seconds.
“Shit!” Zoe’s eyes widened.
“They’ve got-what, science-based attacks?!” No ti to think.
Another one of the creatures raised its trembling hands.
Glowing, digitized code spiraled around its fingers before it snapped.
A high-pitched screech exploded through the hallway.
Allen barely had ti to grit his teeth before his muscles locked.
A paralysis effect.
His limbs felt heavy, sluggish, as if his very cells had been frozen in ti.
[Status Effect: Bio-Stasis Activated (5 seconds)] [Your movent is restricted!
] “Allen!” Bella snarled, launching herself toward him, her hands crackling with electricity as she summoned a Thunderbolt, sending a violent surge of lightning at the scientist.
Another scientist twitched, its skeletal jaw opening unnaturally wide.
A long, distorted sound ca out, warping into static.
“Process… process… enhance…” A syringe materialized from the air.
This one moved on its own.
It shot forward at Bella.
She barely twisted in ti, the needle scraping past her shoulder, but a notification popped up anyway.
[Status Effect: Genetic Instability (Applied) ] [Warning: Mutation Probability Increased.
Unknown Effects Pending.
] Bella hissed, gripping her shoulder.
“Oh, you have got to be kidding .” But Jane quickly used Dispel to neutralize it.
Larissa growled, summoning a Crimson Wave, a torrent of blood erupting from the ground and crashing into the nearest scientist.
Her cursed magic made the creature shudder violently, letting out a glitching, static-filled scream as the corrupted blood seared into it.
Jane, eyes flashing, pointed.
“Holy crap.
That actually hurt them!” Allen’s muscles twitched as the paralysis began to wear off.
His gaze snapped to Larissa.
“It’s because they’re tied to data.
Corrupted code, mories, whatever the hell they are.
Cursed weapons and dark magic work on them!” Vivian grinned.
“Well then.” She cracked her whip, the leather glowing red as she activated Demonic Frenzy, her strikes multiplying as she lashed out at the nearest scientist.
A Void Sphere erupted from Alice’s palm, pulling three of the scientists into a swirling mass of darkness before detonating in an explosion of arcane force.
Zoe jumped to the side as another scientist hurled a glass vial at her.
It shattered on impact with the floor, releasing a thick, red fog.
The scent of blood and chemicals filled the air, acrid and suffocating.
[ Warning: Unknown Neurotoxin Detected!
] Zoe gagged, her form shifting as she summoned Depths’ Grasp.
A wave of shadowy tentacles erupted from the ground, wrapping around the scientists and crushing them in their relentless grip.
A hand reached for her from the fog.
A scientist erged-taller, broader, sothing grotesquely stitched together.
A failed experint.
Its lab coat stretched over a bulging, mismatched form of different bodies, fused by bio-experintation.
Its voice gurgled, distorted.
“Subject… incompatible… results… failure…” Its arms lashed out.
Zoe vanished in a blur of shadow, appearing ten feet away.
“Nope.
Nope.
I am not letting a Frankenstein reject put its hands on .” Jane lifted her hand, summoning a Corpse Explosion.
The remains of a failed experint detonated, sending rotting flesh and twisted bone flying in all directions.
The scientist creatures screeched, flickering violently as their corrupted forms took heavy damage.
Allen flexed his fingers, his smirk returning.
He summoned Abyssal Descent.
The entire hallway darkened.
Shadows crept along the walls, the temperature plumting as an overwhelming sense of dread filled the air.
Then, the black flas ignited, Hellfire Rain pouring down like a storm of damnation, searing through the corrupted scientists.
The Forsaken Scientists regrouped, their glitching forms flickering as they reassessed their targets.
More ghostly murmurs filled the air.
“Sample recovery… necessary…” “Devil Emperor’s anomaly detected… adapt… counteract…” “Test subjects must not escape…” Allen’s eyes glead.
“Oh, I dare you to try.” With a flick of his wrist, Allen sent Demonic Lances hurtling toward the largest of the Forsaken Scientists, impaling it straight through its hollow chest.
The lance struck true, its abyssal energy ripping through the creature like it was tearing apart corrupted code itself.
The scientist let out a strangled, glitched-out shriek, its form flickering violently before dissolving into a swirl of fragnted data, scattering like dust.
For a mont, the only sounds were the low crackle of residual flas from Hellfire Rain and the ragged breathing of the group.
Then… sothing changed.
A sound filled the air.
Low at first.
Subtle.
A deep, resonating doom that seed to co from nowhere and everywhere at once.
The Forsaken Scientists, those eerie, mindless husks, suddenly froze.
Their flickering forms shuddered.
Then-they ran.
They didn’t just vanish or dissolve like corrupted code usually did.
They scattered like terrified insects, their glitching voices rising into a frantic cacophony.
“Threat detected… threat detected… recalibrating escape route…” “Target deviation… error… seeking safe zone…” “Anomaly encountered… requesting assistance…” Their voices blurred together as they fled into the dark corridors, leaving only the scent of burnt chemicals and rotting flesh in their wake.
“What the hell?” Zoe muttered, rolling her shoulders.
“Since when do monsters run?” Bella’s ears twitched, her expression dark.
“Sothing worse is coming.” And then… A voice.
Not human.
Not ghostly, either.
Just wrong.
Like a broken transmission, layered and distorted.
“…Hit the targets… kill…” A static-laced pause.
“…Target change missed… 20%… recalculating…” Another pause.
Sothing shuffled in the dark beyond the ruined hallway.
“…Begin… operation… termination protocol…” A tallic clank echoed in the distance.
Then another.
Then three sets of footsteps.
Slow.
Deliberate.
Heavy.
And then… they stepped into the dim, flickering light.
Three monsters.
Three abominations.
The first was massive.
A towering, mutated knight, its armor blackened and rusted, fused into its grotesque flesh as if it had grown around it instead of being worn.
It had six arms-three on each side-each gripping a different kind of blade.
Rusted longswords, jagged cleavers, curved scimitars, each one dripping with so unnatural liquid.
Its legs were twisted, shaped like a goat’s, hooved and wrong, with veins pulsing through the exposed muscle like so sick experint in forced evolution.
A half-lted helt sat atop its disfigured head, its eye sockets glowing with a haunting, cold-blue light.
A deep, guttural growl rumbled from its throat, like grinding tal and broken bones.
