Villain Ch 1414. Crowd Hour

Jane pulled him along, her grip firm, and by the ti they stepped back inside, the room was as chaotic as ever.

Vivian was lounging on the couch with a glass of wine, Zoe was aggressively stealing pillows from Shea's bed, and Alice was making herself at ho like she owned the place.

The mont Allen walked in, Shea looked up. "You good?"

Allen just nodded, casual, as if that call hadn't just taken him apart and stitched him back together again. "Yeah."

The girls didn't press.

Instead, they went straight back to what they did best—dragging him into their plans.

And tonight?

That ant Hell's Gate.

After an early dinner—nothing too fancy, just Shea's private chef whipping up so ridiculous gourt al like it was a casual Tuesday—they all logged in.

The goal was simple. Daily quests, a little grinding, and nothing too stressful. Just enough to keep up their levels without getting dragged into anything complicated.

At least, that's what they thought.

Until Allen logged in.

The mont his Devil Emperor avatar materialized, a ssage flashed across the hologram screen in front of him.

Mac: I want to talk. DM after you're online. We'll et at the tavern or my guild room.

Allen's fingers hovered over the interface, instinctively about to reply— Only to pause.

Right. He couldn't reply to ssages from players in this form. The Devil Emperor was an NPC in the players' eyes. Completely untouchable.

The girls, already in-ga, turned toward him.

Vivian raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong?"

Allen sighed. "Elio sent a ssage. Bet he wants to talk about sothing important."

Larissa tilted her head. "Maybe about Sophia?"

"Probably." Allen stretched his fingers, already switching his focus. "I'll clear my daily quest first, then use my disguise skill to et him."

Alice leaned back, watching him. "Want us to co with you?"

Allen shook his head. "No need. I got this."

They nodded, trusting him completely—sothing he'd gotten used to.

Without wasting ti, Allen entered the portal room, his Devil Emperor form moving effortlessly as he stepped into the chaos of the main world.

It was crowd hour.

Evening.

The busiest ti in Hell's Gate.

Which ant his daily quest?

Would take less than a minute.

His objective was simple—kill ten players with a certain minimum level.

And really, with how overpowered he was, all he had to do was walk into a populated area, throw an AOE skill, and let the damage do the rest.

Within seconds, he found his target. A crowded battleground just outside the city gates.

Dozens of players.

The perfect hunting ground.

Allen didn't hesitate. He activated Hellfire Rain, a massive AOE skill that summoned flaming teors and a wave of hellfire that engulfed the field in destruction.

The screams of dying players filled the air. Chaos erupted as notifications flooded his interface.

[You have slain Player x10. Quest Complete!]

And just like that, it was over.

Allen exhaled, dismissing the wreckage behind him.

The world chat exploded with outrage.

[System Announcent: The Devil Emperor has descended upon the battlefield. Casualties reported.]

Motherchucker: WTF????

Sucmadic: AGAIN?! I JUST REVIVED DAMN IT

BornToSuffer: I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN WHY DO I EVEN PLAY AT THIS HOUR

Sigma_Player: IS THIS A DAILY QUEST FOR HIM???

Allen just smirked, completely unfazed.

With his quest finished, he activated Disguise, his massive, demonic fra dissolving into the form of Al. His long black cloak billowed behind him as he stepped through the city gates, activating his Hiding skill to avoid attention.

Then, without hesitation, he pulled up his chat nu and replied to Mac.

Al: I'm here. Where do you want to et?

Within seconds, a reply ca.

Mac: Ront City. Tavern. Third floor. Private booth.

Allen nodded to himself, already moving.

Ti to see what Elio wanted.

Allen made his way through Ront City, slipping past players and NPCs like a shadow. His Hiding skill worked flawlessly, keeping him unnoticed as he moved through the crowded streets. The city was as lively as ever—rchants shouting about their wares, adventurers forming parties, blacksmiths hamring away at weapons, and the occasional guild recruiter spamming ssages in the world chat.

But Allen ignored it all.

His focus was on the tavern, a multi-story establishnt built in the heart of the city. A pri gathering spot for players, especially those looking to exchange information, strike deals, or in Elio's case—arrange secret etings.

He pushed open the heavy wooden door and stepped inside.

The scent of virtual ale and roasted at filled the air, along with the constant hum of chatter. Players sat in booths, so negotiating trades, others bragging about loot drops, and a few unlucky ones complaining about how the Devil Emperor had just wiped them out.

Allen smirked. 'Oops.'

He moved through the tavern, stepping past players without drawing attention. When he reached the stairs, he took them two at a ti, heading for the third floor, where private booths were set up for more serious discussions.

And sure enough—there he was.

Elio sat at a corner booth, leaning back against the cushioned seat, arms crossed.

Across from him, three familiar figures occupied the booth—Red_King, Gil, and Mastercraft.

And it was Red_King, who grinned first, his cocky smirk stretching wide the mont he spotted Allen approaching.

"Well, well," Red_King drawled, resting his arm over the back of the seat like he owned the place. "Look who finally decided to show up."

Allen ignored the theatrics, sliding into the seat across from them. He took his ti, adjusting his coat, fingers tapping lazily against the table before finally glancing up.

"Full team?" he asked, raising a brow.

Red_King snorted. "Full team? Since when the hell are we his team?"

Mastercraft—who had been casually flipping through his inventory screen—chid in, not even looking up. "Yeah, don't lump us in with that guy."

Elio rolled his eyes, muttering, "Here we go."

Allen smirked, leaning back. "And here I was thinking you wanted to chat because you missed ."

Mastercraft finally looked up, giving Allen a dry stare. "Oh yeah. That's exactly why we called you.We were lonely. Desperate, even."

Allen chuckled. "Touching. Really."
