Villain Ch 1366. The Maiden's Revenge

"What the—" Zoe started, eyes wide.

"Oh. Oh." Jane covered her mouth, holding back laughter and horror at the sa ti.

The villagers cheered.

"Look!" the head priest gestured wildly, his voice hysterical. "She loves you, O Great Lord! She was born to be your bride!"

The Devil Emperor did not react.

Instead, his eyes darkened.

With one flick of his wrist, a wave of magic pulsed outward, flooding into the girl's body.

The drug vanished.

Her eyes fluttered. The lustful haze cleared.

And in that mont—true terror replaced whatever trance she had been under.

She stiffened, her breath hitching. Her fingers, which had monts ago been clutching at him, jerked back as if burned.

The Devil Emperor's grip was gentle but firm, steadying her before she could collapse completely.

He looked down at her, his voice calm, even. "Now talk."

The villagers froze.

"Do you want this?" The Devil Emperor's voice cut through the air. "Did they force this on you? Did they… torture you? Was what you did against your will?"

The girl's throat bobbed, her breathing uneven.

Her eyes, now clear, filled with horror.

Then—she nodded.

The villagers went pale.

A ripple of panic ran through the crowd, their whispers turning to frantic, desperate muttering.

The head priest staggered forward, his hands trembling. "S-She lies!" he choked out, his voice laced with hysteria. His golden mask did nothing to hide the sheer fear radiating from him now. "She is confused! She—she does not understand what she is saying!"

The girl, still held in the Devil Emperor's arms, desperately shook her head. "I don't," she whispered, her voice cracking with emotion. "I don't lie."

The Devil Emperor laughed.

Low, dark, utterly amused.

"I know," he said, his voice calm but cutting. His smirk widened, his crimson gaze shifting to the gathered villagers. "I know exactly the kind of people you are."

The villagers flinched under his gaze.

"Selfish." His voice was sharper now, filled with undeniable authority. "The kind that only want to do what they want. The kind that sacrifice others for their own interests." He tilted his head, his eyes glowing like molten blood. "The kind that will convince themselves that they are doing sothing holy. That they are doing sothing right."

The villagers tried to defend themselves.

"Great Lord, we only want to create the best bride for you."

"She was chosen!"

"We did what must be done!"

The words tumbled over one another, desperate and uncoordinated, but the Devil Emperor ignored them.

His focus returned to the girl in his arms.

His tone softened, but the edge of power in his voice remained.

"Now…" he murmured, his fingers brushing against her cheek. "Since you are my bride…"

Her breath hitched.

"I will grant you a wish."

The villagers froze.

"You can ask for anything," the Devil Emperor continued, his smirk returning, sharp and dangerous. "But then…" He leaned in, his presence overwhelming. "You will be mine."

The girl's fingers twitched. Her lips parted slightly, her mind racing.

The Devil Emperor chuckled, his voice dropping into sothing almost intimate.

"And I will not waste your lustful body."

The girl shuddered, though whether from fear or sothing else, no one could tell.

"I will use it well," the Devil Emperor murmured, tilting his head, "to kill…" His fingers traced her jaw, his smirk deepening. "And to satisfy ."

The villagers gasped.

The girl was silent.

Her hands trembled.

Her eyes darted to the villagers, the ones who had bound her, drugged her, prepared her to be sacrificed for a man she had never t.

And then—sothing shifted.

Her fear didn't vanish.

But rage seeped through the cracks.

A slow, boiling, unrelenting rage.

She lifted her head. Her lips parted slightly, and in a voice that started as a whisper but grew with undeniable venom, she finally spoke.

"Kill them."

The silence was deafening.

The head priest staggered back as though physically struck.

The girl's eyes burned with sothing raw.

"I want them to feel what I have felt all this ti," she continued, her voice stronger. Shaking, but unyielding. "Sexual desperation… until they die."

The Devil Emperor let out a slow, delighted laugh.

The villagers lost their composure completely, their panicked cries spilling out like a broken dam.

"N-No! You can't an that!"

"She is confused! Great Lord, do not—!"

The Devil Emperor silenced them with a re raise of his hand.

"Oh," he exhaled, his smile curling like smoke. "This is an interesting request."

The girl stiffened, but her grip on his coat didn't loosen.

"But," the Devil Emperor murmured, his eyes gleaming, "I can't do it."

A sharp pause.

The girl froze. "What?"

The Devil Emperor chuckled again, leaning down until his breath brushed against her ear.

"But you…" he whispered, his lips just barely touching her skin, "can."

Before she could react, he tilted her chin up—and kissed her.

A shockwave of dark energy exploded from the contact.

The villagers scread.

The air crackled.

And the girl— Her body convulsed, her breath stolen as a wave of pure, unfiltered power rushed through her veins.

Her black hair bled into deep purple, strands of violet curling like tendrils of shadow.

Her nails lengthened, sharpened into delicate claws.

The silk veil covering her face fluttered to the ground, revealing new, piercingly golden eyes—pupils slitted like a predator's.

And then— Her wings burst forth.

Dark, bat-like, curling behind her like a velvet embrace.

The villagers collapsed to their knees in horror.

The Devil Emperor's voice was like smoke and thunder.

"You are now a succubus."

The girl—no, Vivian—exhaled, her lips curling into a smirk that had never touched her face before.

She stretched her new limbs, feeling the raw, intoxicating power flooding through her.

And then, for the first ti in her existence, she felt free.

The succubus tilted her head back, inhaling the heavy air as her newly transford body pulsed with power. Strength unlike anything she had ever felt coiled in her veins, making her shudder.

Her eyes glead as she turned back to the kneeling, trembling villagers.

They were afraid now.
