Villain Ch 1347. Sothing's Off

Elio broke the pause, his voice steady but laced with curiosity. "So what other reason do you have to show up here and play Hell's Gate? I doubt it's just for fun."

Allen smirked, his eyes flicking between them. "Chat with you guys, for one. You're all players, and I guess feedback is sothing I should be looking for."

MasterCraft raised an eyebrow, his tone skeptical. "Are you serious? I thought the devs must have an entire division dedicated to that."

"They do," Allen replied smoothly. "But experiencing it firsthand is a different story. You can't truly understand a player's perspective unless you're down here, in the trenches."

Red_King nodded slowly, his expression thoughtful. "True. There's sothing about feeling the ga, not just studying it."

Gil leaned in, his grin mischievous. "So does that an we get so kind of privilege or sothing? Like insider info?"

Allen shot him a flat stare. "No. I can't interfere with leaderboards or anything like that. Many wouldn't be happy about that, and you know how competitive players can be."

"Like Sophia," Elio muttered, his voice quieter but sharp enough to catch everyone's attention.

Allen's smirk faded slightly, his expression turning serious. "Exactly. I bet the reason she ca to the event yesterday was because she didn't want to lose to Alexander."

Red_King and Mastercraft leaned in closer, their faces now etched with curiosity. "Wait," Red_King said, his tone incredulous. "Sophia ca yesterday?"

Elio nodded, his tone steady. "Yeah. She showed up, but not as a winner. She was there with a higher-up from the company she works for."

The two turned to Elio, their disbelief apparent. MasterCraft's voice was sharp. "And you knew about this? Did she get into trouble with you guys?"

Allen interjected before Elio could answer, his voice calm but laced with irritation. "Thank goodness she didn't. But yeah, she approached drunk, started spitting fire, and—surprise—dragged your nas into it."

Gil winced. "Our nas? You're serious?"

Allen nodded. "Oh, yeah. If it weren't for a security guard escorting her out, she might've ruined the entire event."

Father^Alex, who had been mostly silent, finally spoke up. "Yeah, I saw that. A security guard took her to a man, and they left the party quickly."

Elio added, his voice tinged with frustration, "That man was her boss."

Mastercraft's brows furrowed. "So is he going to fire her?"

Allen's eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of calculation in his expression. "That's what I thought at first. But my girlfriend said Sophia didn't get fired. She had a private conversation with her boss at a nearby café, and now she's still employed. Weird, huh?"

Gil let out a low whistle, shaking his head. "Weird? That's putting it lightly. Sounds like sothing's off."

Elio's gaze darkened, his mind racing through possibilities. "Maybe she blackmailed him."

Allen's smirk returned, sharp and cold. "Interesting theory," he said, leaning back in his chair as if the conversation didn't press on him at all. "Mind telling why you think that?"

Allen knew the bait had landed, and now all he had to do was wait. He wouldn't reveal anything directly. That wasn't his style. No, he'd let them analyze, connect the dots themselves. The truth always felt heavier when people unraveled it on their own.

Elio hesitated, running a hand through his hair. "It's not just a guess," he admitted. "I rember… there was this one ti, a while back. Sophia asked to go with her to this party at a club. She said she didn't want to go alone, and I thought, fine, whatever. But then we ran into you and Vivian there."

Allen raised an eyebrow, feigning surprise. "Oh yeah, I rember that."

Elio nodded. "Yeah. She didn't handle it well. The mont she saw you two together, it was like sothing snapped. She got drunk—like, really drunk—and by the ti I drove her ho, she was completely out of it. And then…" Elio paused, his voice faltering. "She… tried to seduce ."

Red_King leaned closer, eyes wide with disbelief. "Wait, wait, wait—you're telling you have slept with her?"

Elio winced, rubbing the back of his neck. "Almost. But luckily, I got out of her apartnt before anything could happen. Sothing felt off, like… I don't know, maybe she had sothing planned. Like recording it or sothing."

Father^Alex's eyes widened in horror. "That's… awful. She was going to trap you?"

Red_King let out a low whistle, shaking his head. "That's crazy, man."

Allen pretended to mull it over, his expression thoughtful. "I didn't expect she'd pull sothing like that. Especially not with you. I an, you defended her like she was a saint."

Elio exhaled heavily, his frustration evident. "Yeah… I didn't expect it either."

Gil frowned, his mind clearly working through the implications. "Wait. If she tried that with you, could she have done the sa thing to Liam and Darren? I an, think about it. They used to be so close to us, but then out of nowhere… they flipped. Took her side without question."

Allen humd thoughtfully, leaning forward slightly. "It's possible. If she managed to trap them in so way, it would explain a lot. People don't usually turn like that without a reason."

Red_King snorted. "Blackmail's a hell of a reason."

Elio's hands clenched into fists on the table. "If that's true… how far would she go to protect herself? How much dirt does she have on everyone?"

Allen kept his smirk in place, though inside, his mind was spinning with possibilities. "Hard to say," he said casually. "But if she's desperate enough to manipulate you—and potentially Liam and Darren—then I'd say she's capable of quite a bit."

Father^Alex shook his head slowly. "This just keeps getting worse. How do we even deal with soone like that?"

Gil leaned on the table, his voice dropping to a near whisper. "You expose her. Whatever she's hiding, you drag it into the light."

Allen chuckled, his tone sharp. "Easier said than done. If she's smart enough to get this far, then she's covered her tracks."

Elio's eyes locked on Allen's, a mix of determination and guilt flickering within them. "You've dealt with her before. What would you do?"

Allen tilted his head, as if pondering the question deeply. "If it were ? I'd start by finding out exactly what she has on people. Information is power, after all. The more you know, the better you can turn the tables." That was his last bait.
