Villain Ch 1307. Siblings

Emma, not to be outdone, activated her own ultimate. [Radiant Finale]. Her rapier shone with a blinding light, a contrast to Allen's shadows.

The two collided in the center of the battlefield, their ultimates clashing in a dazzling display of light and dark. The explosion of energy shook the do, the holographic environnt flickering for a brief mont before stabilizing.

Snow and debris were scattered everywhere, creating a chaotic scene that perfectly mirrored the intensity of their battle.

Allen skidded back a few ters, his boots carving deep grooves into the snow as he steadied himself. His [Shadow Requiem] ultimate had drained a massive chunk of his mana bar, the blue gauge now hovering just above critical. His HP bar wasn't faring much better, sitting at 30%. One more solid hit from Emma, and this duel could swing in her favor.

Across the battlefield, Emma stood tall, her [Radiant Finale] having left a glowing aura around her rapier. Her HP was barely above his, sitting at 35%, but her MP bar had taken a significant hit, now flashing red to indicate it was dangerously low.

The audience held their breath as the siblings faced off, neither making a move right away. Every second felt stretched, the tension thick enough to cut with a knife.

Allen smirked, flipping his daggers in his hands. "You've got so fight in you, Emma."

Emma's expression didn't waver, her grip on her rapier firm. "Talking won't win this, brother."

"Fair enough," Allen replied, dashing forward in a blur of shadow.

[Phantom Strike] activated as he closed the distance. His daggers glowed with an eerie light as he aid for her flank, moving so fast that the holographic snow kicked up behind him in a swirling vortex.

Emma countered with precision, her rapier intercepting his strike mid-swing. The clash of their weapons sent shockwaves rippling through the battlefield, visible as faint ripples in the hologram. Sparks—more like glowing particles in the VR space—flew from the impact, and both their HP bars dipped slightly from the sheer force of their clash.

Emma HP: 28%

Allen HP: 25%

Emma didn't give him a mont to recover. She pivoted gracefully, activating [Blade Waltz], a skill that unleashed a flurry of rapid thrusts aid directly at his core. Allen's daggers blurred as he blocked and parried, his MP bar ticking down with each defensive maneuver.

"You're making work for this," Allen muttered, his voice strained as he sidestepped another strike.

"That's the idea," Emma shot back, her tone sharp but tinged with amusent.

Allen feinted left, then rolled to the right, using [Shadow Blink] to teleport behind her. The sudden movent earned a gasp from the audience, who could barely keep up with the fight. He slashed downward with both daggers, the glow from his weapons casting ominous shadows on the snow.

Emma spun just in ti, her rapier eting his attack with a tallic clang. The force of the collision knocked them both back, their HP bars dipping further.

Emma HP: 20%

Allen HP: 18%

Allen landed awkwardly, his feet slipping slightly on the snow. His breath ca in short bursts, the exertion taking its toll even in the simulated space. His MP bar flashed a warning, the edge of his vision dimming slightly.

Emma, too, looked worse for wear. Her rapier's glow had faded, and her movents were just a fraction slower now. She steadied herself, raising her weapon in a defensive stance.

"This is it," Allen muttered, activating [Eclipse Dash], a high-risk, high-reward skill that consud the last of his MP. His form blurred, disappearing into a wave of shadow that surged toward Emma like a tidal wave.

Emma's eyes widened, and she reacted instinctively, raising her rapier and channeling the last of her MP into [Guardian's Barrier]. A radiant shield of light sprang up around her, just in ti to et Allen's attack.

The collision was nothing short of spectacular. Shadows and light exploded outward, the holographic snow dissolving into glowing particles that rained down like stars. Both avatars were thrown backward, their HP bars flashing dangerously low.

Emma HP: 5%

Allen HP: 8%

Allen hit the ground hard, rolling to his feet with a groan. His vision was blurry, his MP bar completely depleted, and his stamina on the verge of collapse. But he wasn't done yet.

Emma struggled to stand, her rapier trembling in her grip. "You… still standing?" she asked, her voice tinged with disbelief.

Allen chuckled, the sound dry and strained. "Barely. But enough to finish this."

He surged forward with the last of his strength, his daggers glowing faintly as he activated his basic attack chain. Emma raised her rapier to counter, but her movents were too slow. Allen slipped past her guard, landing a clean strike across her torso.

Her HP bar hit zero, and her avatar froze mid-motion before dissolving into particles. The system's voice rang out, clear and triumphant:

"Allen Goldborne: Victory."

The do erupted into cheers, the audience on their feet as they applauded the siblings' intense battle. Allen removed his helt. He stepped out of the capsule.

Emma erged from her capsule monts later, her expression calm but with a hint of pride. "Good fight," she said, offering him a handshake.

"You too," Allen replied, clasping her hand firmly. "You almost had ."

The MC stepped onto the stage. "Ladies and gentlen, let's hear it for Allen and Emma Goldborne!" he announced, his voice booming through the room.

The applause grew louder, the crowd clearly impressed by the demonstration. Jordan waited for the noise to die down before continuing. "Now, I know many of you are eager to try this incredible technology for yourselves."

He scanned the room, his gaze landing on a specific group. "And I think so people here might be even more excited than others," he added with a sly grin.

Allen followed his father's gaze. His girlfriends—Larissa, Jane, Zoe, Shea, and the rest—were seated together, their expressions a mix of amusent and anticipation.

"And, of course," Jordan continued, "we can't forget the winners of our previous events. It's only fair that they get a chance to experience this firsthand."

The audience buzzed with excitent, murmurs of speculation rippling through the room. 'This is going to be interesting…' Allen thought.
