Villain Ch 1300. The Young Master of Goldborne Family

Allen nodded slightly, a faint but polite smile on his lips as he scanned the crowd. It was a gesture of acknowledgnt, a subtle greeting to the sea of faces before him.

Jordan placed a hand on Allen's shoulder, his voice warm as he continued. "So yes, I now have a daughter and a son. One is a pro gar," he announced. He then gestured toward Emma with a fond smile. She stepped forward to stand by Allen's side, her posture straight and her chin held high. "And one is a pro ga developer," added Jordan.

Allen's internal cringe was imdiate but expertly hidden. 'Pro ga designer?' he thought, biting back the urge to wince. He could practically feel the collective secondhand embarrassnt from the Hell's Gate staff and Kafra, all of whom likely had their heads in their hands at the phrase. But he understood. In front of these tycoons, Jordan had to boost Emma's reputation, and Allen couldn't fault him for trying.

Emma, for her part, seed to bristle slightly at the title but maintained her composure.

The audience erupted into applause, though there was an undercurrent of murmurs rippling through the room. The revelation was unexpected, and the announcent was clearly sinking in.

Sophia, seated several rows back, felt her world tilt slightly. Her eyes were locked on Allen, her mind racing. 'Allen… is a Goldborne?' The realization hit her like a freight train, every interaction they'd ever had suddenly cast in a new light.

Her jealousy and regret flared hotter than ever as she watched him stand beside Jordan and Emma, his presence commanding and effortless. Her nails dug into her palms, her mind swirling with emotions too tangled to unravel. She couldn't stop staring at Allen—his calm composure, the faint smile on his lips as he nodded at the applause.

'No… no, this can't be right… How could I not have known?'

Sophia's thoughts spiraled, her mind latching onto every mory she had of him. His quiet confidence, his asured way of speaking, the way he never seed fazed by anything. Her chest tightened painfully, a storm of regret brewing inside her. 'If I had known…'

Her nails bit harder into her palms, her hands trembling slightly. She felt like screaming. 'If I had known, I would have stayed. I wouldn't have—' She cut the thought off before it could finish, but the guilt clawed its way back anyway, relentless and unforgiving.

Two years ago, she had made a choice. A selfish, shortsighted choice. Allen had poured his heart into their relationship, and had gone so far as to win that gaming tournant for her. And what had she done? Betrayed him. Traded him for soone she thought could give her more.

Her stomach churned. 'And for what? For a man who won't even look at ?'

Beside her, Mr. Bell leaned forward slightly, his eyes fixed on Allen. "Well, that's unexpected," he muttered, his tone carrying more curiosity than emotion.

Sophia forced a smile, though it felt like her face might crack under the strain. "Yes," she said through gritted teeth. "Very unexpected."

She tried to keep her expression neutral, but her chest felt like it was caving in. The sting of regret was sharper than ever, a constant, unyielding ache. 'I threw away a diamond for trash,' she thought bitterly. 'How could I have been so stupid?'

Her eyes darted back to Allen. He wasn't the sa Allen she had known. He wasn't the quiet, unassuming gar who had spent hours grinding in the ga.

He was soone far beyond her reach now.

She rembered the hurt in his eyes. And she rembered how she had brushed it off, pretending it didn't matter.

But it did.

It mattered more than she'd ever realized. And now, sitting here, surrounded by the opulence of Goldborne's success, she felt that realization crushed her.

anwhile, Elio was still trying to process what he'd just heard. He sat back in his chair, his arms crossed, his gaze fixed on the stage where Allen stood beside Jordan and Emma. His usually calm deanor was slightly rattled, his brow furrowed in thought.

"This is shocking," he muttered, shaking his head slightly. "I an… Allen? A Goldborne?"

Beside him, Alexander nodded, his expression a mix of surprise and awe. "Wow… just wow," he said quietly. "I didn't expect this at all."

Elio glanced at Azura, who was seated on his other side, her face as calm and composed as ever. "You don't look surprised," he said, narrowing his eyes slightly.

Azura smirked faintly, shrugging one shoulder. "I'm not," she said simply. "I've known for a while."

Elio blinked, leaning toward her. "What? You knew?"

She nodded, her tone casual. "Of course. That's why he can't join any events or enter the rankings. If he does, it's a violation of the terms for ga developers and their families. That applies to the staff, but it's even more strictly enforced for the families."

Elio sat back, his mouth slightly open as the realization sank in. "It makes sense now," he said after a mont, his voice quiet. "That's why he always stayed low-key… even though he's clearly good enough to dominate if he wanted to."

Alexander glanced between them, his expression thoughtful. "It kind of explains why he's always been so… neutral. Like, he's good, but he never seems like he's trying to prove anything."

Azura nodded again, her eyes flicking back to the stage. "Exactly."

In another part of the room, Mila, Jas, and Noah were just as stunned. Mila's mouth was slightly open, her gaze fixed on Allen. Jas let out a low whistle.

"Well," Noah said, breaking the silence with a grin, "this is… unexpected." He nudged Mila lightly, his grin widening. "You've got a good eye. He's a young master, just like us. Nice."

Mila snapped out of her thoughts, glaring at Noah. "What?"

"You know what I'm saying," Noah said, raising his eyebrows. "He's a Goldborne. You should totally approach him. You got 100% of my blessings!"

Jas smirked. "He's right, you know. You've got an opening. Go for it."
