Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives Chapter 1202: Pans And Tartar Sauce
Villain Ch 1202. Pans And Tartar Sauce
Zoe, still facing away, took a deep breath, regaining her poise. She gestured forward, her voice a bit steadier now. "Alright, enough fun. We're here to explore, so let's focus." She cast a quick glance back at Allen, her eyes narrowing slightly but with a hint of warmth. "You might think you're clever, but the depths have secrets that are going to be a lot harder to handle than ."
Allen smirked, raising an eyebrow. "I'm looking forward to it. Lead the way, Queen of the Depths."
The group moved forward, following Zoe deeper into the abyss. The light around them shifted as they walked, the blues and greens growing darker, more intense. Small sea creatures darted in and out of crevices in the rocky walls, and strange, translucent plants swayed as though caught in an underwater breeze. The air around them was thick, like a strange fog rolling in from the sea.
But as they ventured further, the path began to twist and turn in odd ways. One minute, they found themselves navigating through an intricate labyrinth of towering coral reefs that looked like a maze straight out of an architect's nightmare. The next mont, they were in a vast, open expanse, the endless ocean stretching out before them, with barely a reef in sight.
"Seriously? Where are we even going?" Shea asked as they made their way through the strange terrain.
Zoe's usual confidence was starting to show signs of cracks as she glanced around, a bit bewildered. "This place… it's like it's changing on its own. This isn't normal."
"Understatent of the year," Alice muttered under her breath, her eyes scanning the bizarre surroundings with growing unease. "This is way weirder than I expected. I thought we were coming to fight, not get lost in so underwater funhouse."
Allen wasn't sure whether to laugh or groan. He could feel his curiosity growing, though. The deeper they went, the more surreal everything seed. As they rounded a corner, the ocean floor suddenly opened up to a wide, open space, and before them, they saw the most ridiculous thing imaginable.
A group of rn.
But not just any rn.
No, these rn were not their typical fantasy fare. These were muscular, thick-set n with fish heads, wearing nothing but tight beach shorts, standing there holding pans—yes, pans—and bottles of tartar sauce.
Zoe froze, her face unreadable for a split second. "What... the hell?"
Vivian's voice cracked slightly as she tried to hold back a laugh. "Is that… Is that a pan? Why does he have a pan?"
Indeed, all the rn were holding up a large, greasy-looking frying pan with a few fish fillets inside as if they were at a family barbecue. So were casually shaking a bottle of tartar sauce, its contents sloshing out in the most casual way possible like they were preparing for the most laid-back seaside cookout of all ti, but without fire.
rman
Bella squinted, trying to make sense of it. "Are we seriously getting attacked by… grilling rn? Where are the tridents? Where's the actual threat?"
Allen stepped forward, a grin spreading across his face despite the absurdity of the situation. "I think we're in a completely different kind of dungeon, guys. No ancient beasts or epic monsters here—just a bunch of dudes in their beachwear, grilling so fish and throwing around so tartar sauce." He turned to Zoe with a mischievous glint in his eye. "You sure you want to dive into this one, Queen of the Depths?"
Zoe rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. "Don't look at . You all picked this place." She couldn't help but chuckle under her breath, shaking her head at the absurdity of the situation. "Alright, let's get this over with. Maybe they'll serve us so decent fish, at least."
Allen snorted, half-amused, half-exasperated, as the rn—wearing only their tight beach pants and holding their ridiculous weapons—shouted in unison.
"Intruder!"
"Intruder!"
"INTRUDER!"
The sound was so absurd that Allen couldn't help but burst out laughing. 'Seriously?'
Before anyone could react, the rn charged, wielding their pans like war hamrs and shaking bottles of tartar sauce like they were about to start an impromptu BBQ fight. Allen took a step back, still laughing under his breath, but Bella stepped forward, her eyes narrowing with purpose.
"Let handle them," she said, cracking her knuckles with a smirk that was equal parts confidence and amusent. "Water's weakness is thunder, and I've got just the thing."
With a flourish, she raised her hand, summoning the crackling energy of her skill. "Thunderbolt!"
The air around her buzzed, crackling with raw electrical power as her body pulsed with the energy she was about to unleash.
One of the rn was charging directly toward her, pan raised high in the air like he was about to deliver a lethal flipping blow. Bella didn't even flinch. In one fluid motion, she thrust her arm forward, releasing the full force of her Thunderbolt. The air shimred with the intense electrical current as a jagged bolt of lightning shot forward, streaking across the water like a whip of pure energy.
The first rman didn't even have ti to react before the bolt slamd into him. He was imdiately jolted, his body twitching in the electric current. His fish-head flopped around as he dropped his pan and crumpled to the ground in a sizzling heap.
"Wh-what?" one of the other rn stamred, his eyes wide with disbelief. "It burns! It burns!"
"Ahhh, so much for their BBQ skills," Shea quipped, flicking a feather from her blade-winged back and grinning as the next rman stumbled backwards. "At least we know we won't be getting any fish dishes tonight."
Zoe snickered. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say we've just been invited to a 'no-cooking' zone."
The remaining rn quickly rallied together. One raised his pan threateningly, another waved his bottle of tartar sauce like a weapon, and the last one shot a confused look at the others. They were completely out of their depth.
But that didn't stop them from charging forward, their fishy heads bobbing in unison as they ca at Bella.
