Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives Chapter 1199: Wedding-crazed Players
Villain Ch 1199. Wedding-crazed Players
Allen sighed, feigning exhaustion. "Fine. I'll keep that in mind."
Bella bead, clearly pleased. "See? It's not so hard, is it? Just a little effort, and it makes all the difference."
Allen finally leaned back, crossing his arms with a hint of a smile. "Alright, you've had your fun. Now, what's this urgent thing I need to hear?"
Shea waved a hand dismissively. "Oh, nothing urgent."
Larissa smirked, glancing at the others. "We just… happened to see your wanted poster on the forum. Right alongside the other guild leaders."
Allen raised an eyebrow, frowning slightly. "Wanted poster? What did I do this ti?"
Zoe chuckled. "Apparently, there's a wedding event going on right now. And guess what? You're on their target list. Seems like a few players have decided that they want you as their wedding partner."
Jane rolled her eyes, though her tone held a hint of amusent. "We wanted to warn you earlier. But we figured you'd know how to handle it."
Allen sighed, rubbing his temples. "You're all too late for that."
Alice leaned forward, her expression both curious and slightly worried. "What happened? Did they actually co after you?"
Allen let out a low chuckle, shaking his head as he looked around the room. "Oh, they ca after , alright. First, I'm just minding my own business in Ront City's market, trying to buy so upgrade stones. Next thing I know, a whole swarm of players—all in wedding gear, mind you—starts closing in on like I'm the last prize on a shelf."
Shea's eyes widened, covering her mouth to hide a grin. "You're kidding! They chased you through the market?"
Allen nodded, a faint smirk crossing his face. "Yep. I tried slipping away, but more kept showing up. Everywhere I turned, there were more of them, all dressed up like they were on a mission. They decided that I'd make the perfect husband or sothing."
Bella stifled a laugh. "Oh no, poor Allen, surrounded by wedding-crazed players. And you didn't just use Hiding to get away?"
Allen shrugged, rolling his eyes. "I thought about it, but if I used Hiding, I couldn't browse the stalls. Figured I'd just duck into a side street and shake them off. But then… they kept multiplying."
Vivian smirked, leaning back in her seat with amusent. "So what did you do? Run?"
Allen chuckled, giving her a knowing look. "Close. I ran into a few familiar faces—Elio, Red_King Mastercraft, and the others. They were hiding in an alley, having the sa problem as . But since they found our hiding spot, we ran to the northern tavern. So we all tried hiding there for a bit, but then we started hearing voices outside the door. And sure enough, it was more players looking for us."
Jane covered her mouth, unable to contain a smile. "Wait… so all of you were holed up in a tavern together, hiding from these players?"
Allen nodded, sighing. "Yep. They discussed the way out. But then I rembered sothing simpler. I told them to just use their Ho Crystals and teleport back to their HQs."
Zoe burst out laughing, shaking her head in disbelief. "They didn't think of that?"
Allen grinned, shrugging. "Apparently not. So they all teleported out, and I was left alone. Once they were gone, I figured I'd have a little fun with the players outside. So, I unlocked the door, and then used Shadow Step to get out before they even knew what was happening."
Alice's eyes sparkled with amusent. "So you left them an empty room? I bet they were confused out of their minds."
Allen chuckled, leaning back with satisfaction. "Exactly. I can just imagine the looks on their faces when they opened that door, expecting to find a room full of guild leaders… only to find it empty. Honestly, the escape was kind of satisfying."
Bella smirked, crossing her arms. "Leave it to you to turn a wedding event into a stealth mission, Allen."
Allen shrugged, smiling. "Hey, it wasn't planned. But I have to admit, I kind of enjoyed the chase. It gave a rare chance to chat with the others. It's not often I get to just hang out with them without everyone being focused on leveling or raiding."
Zoe raised an eyebrow, looking at him knowingly. "So that's why you've been so quiet. Usually, you're the first to ping us the second you log on, or at least co check in here before doing anything else."
Allen scratched the back of his head, chuckling. "Yeah, I thought I'd just check the market real quick before eting up with you all for a hunt. But, well… it ended up being a completely different adventure than I expected."
Shea laughed, folding her arms and giving him a playful look. "And here we were, thinking you'd gone offline or sothing. Didn't think we'd see you caught up in a citywide chase."
Allen shook his head, smirking. "Trust , neither did I. The whole ti, I kept thinking, 'Why is this happening right now?' But looking back, it was… kind of fun. Haven't felt that much adrenaline in a while."
Alice leaned forward, resting her chin in her hand. "So, did any of them co close to catching you?"
Allen chuckled. "Not a chance. I had the whole crew with , and we managed to dodge them every ti. They were pretty relentless, though. And I almost forgot to tell you all—those female players? They're not only targeting 'Al.' They're after the Devil Emperor too."
The room fell silent for a mont as the girls processed what he'd just said.
Zoe was the first to break the silence, her eyes wide with disbelief. "Pardon . Did you just say they're also targeting the Devil Emperor?"
Jane shook her head, fiddling with her ears as if she thought she'd misheard. "Wait, wait… you're telling there are players trying to marry the most dangerous villain in the ga?"
Allen nodded, trying to keep a straight face. "Yep. Apparently, so of the players figure if they can get close to the Devil Emperor, they might get so rare perks. They think he's fair ga."
At that, the girls leaned in closer to him, voices overlapping as they exclaid in unison, "What?!"
