Villain Ch 1191. Guild Leaders on The Run [Part 3]

Allen gave him a deadpan look. "Only if you all co with as bodyguards."

The group burst into laughter.

Allen glanced around, taking in the faces of his usual rivals and allies. Funny, he'd always considered them as enemies first, friends second. Yet here they were, hiding together from a horde of over-eager players, and he realized that, for the first ti, he was genuinely enjoying their company.

Elio caught his glance and raised an eyebrow. "Hey, I think this is the first ti I've actually seen you enjoying yourself with us."

Arcana scoffed, nudging him. "Not true at all! He used to hunt with once."

Red_King chid in, a grin on his face. "Yeah, too. We've taken down a lot of monsters together, and I know he enjoyed those fights. We wouldn't have managed without him. That forest is cursed."

Father^Alex raised his hand, as if they were all sitting in a classroom. "Uh, I've hunted with him too. Although, to be fair…" He lowered his hand, his expression turning to a cringe. "His team is so overpowered, it's almost embarrassing. His team doesn't even need a healer most of the ti."

Elio laughed, clapping Father^Alex on the back. "That's what happens when you hunt with the guy who landed a hit on the Devil Emperor. You might as well just sit back and watch."

Allen smirked, turning to Elio. "And you're forgetting, I joined one of your guild hunts back in the day. Before you even knew the player behind this avatar."

Elio winced, scratching his head awkwardly. "Yeah… I rember. And… uh, sorry about what I said back then. I… may have jumped to conclusions a bit too quickly."

Allen raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusent in his eyes. "A bit?"

Elio sighed, looking genuinely apologetic. "Alright, fine, I was a jerk. I thought you were just another overconfident solo player trying to show off. I didn't realize… well, who you were."

Mastercraft, who had been listening intently, leaned forward with a mischievous grin. "Oh, I sll so juicy gossip here. C'mon, tell . What happened?"

Allen gave him a flat look. "Not in the mood, Mastercraft."

Mastercraft grinned, undeterred. "Oh, c'mon. I'll pay. Just na your price."

Allen rolled his eyes. "Not everything has a price."

Mastercraft sighed dramatically, turning to Elio, as if pleading for an answer. "Entertain , then. What happened?"

Elio shrugged, holding up his hands. "Sorry, not sharing this one. That's between and Allen."

Mastercraft huffed, crossing his arms and pretending to pout. "Fine. But I'm not giving up that easily."

Arcana leaned back, chuckling. "Man, if only the players outside could see this. The mighty guild leaders of Hell's Gate, hiding out in a tavern, just chilling together. They'd never believe it."

Red_King laughed, nodding. "Right? They probably imagine us in our guild halls, strategizing, plotting our next moves."

Father^Alex chuckled. "Or sitting on so grand throne, issuing commands left and right."

Allen shook his head, smirking. "More like running for our lives from a bunch of marriage-crazed players."

Mastercraft laughed. " May we make it out of this event without a forced engagent."

They all nodded in agreent.

Elio took another sip, then looked over at Allen, a mischievous glint in his eye. "So, Allen, be honest. No part of you is even slightly tempted to join this event? I an, think about it—a blood oath, eternal buffs, rare quests… It's a sweet deal."

Allen snorted. "Yeah, right. Eternal buffs or not, I'm not signing myself up for a virtual marriage just for so perks."

Arcana raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Oh? So you wouldn't even consider it if, say, one of the top female players asked you?"

Allen shot him a look. "Nope. Not interested. I'm here to play, not get tied down. Besides, the last thing I need is soone thinking they own in-ga."

Father^Alex chuckled. "Good point. Relationships in here… they're complicated. I an, look at poor Justice Bringer."

Red_King shook his head, a wry smile on his face. "Yeah. He's probably out there right now, getting dragged to so ceremony."

Mastercraft laughed. "Can't imagine him in wedding gear. He'd look like he's heading into a duel instead of a marriage."

There was a mont of silence between them before they all laughed, picturing the stern Justice Bringer reluctantly walking down the aisle, his usual scowl plastered on his face.

Elio leaned back, his expression turning thoughtful. "Honestly, though, what do you guys think about relationships in-ga? Like, real ones? I an, we're all kind of public figures in Hell's Gate. It's not like it would be… simple."

Red_King shrugged. "Depends on the person, I guess. So players can handle it, others… not so much. ? I'd rather keep things separate."

Arcana nodded in agreent. "Sa here. I think real-life relationships are complicated enough. Adding in a ga layer… yeah, not for ."

Allen stayed quiet, but he was listening intently, curious about their perspectives. Despite their status in the ga, they seed to share his preference for keeping things simple, for avoiding the drama that could co from mixing in-ga relationships with real ones.

Mastercraft raised an eyebrow, looking around the room. "Am I the only one here who wouldn't mind it? I an, if I t soone here and we clicked, I'd go for it. It's still a real connection, even if it starts in a ga."

Father^Alex chuckled, shrugging. "I'd be open to it, but it's… complicated. Hard to know if soone likes you or just the character you play."

Elio nodded, a hint of understanding in his gaze. "Exactly. That's the issue. You're never quite sure if it's real or just for the perks."

Allen finally spoke up, a wry smile on his face. "You all are way overthinking this. It's a ga. Sure, connections are real, but it's not worth losing your sanity over."

Mastercraft shrugged. "True."
