Villain Ch 1187. Twisted Dating Sim

At first glance, he thought it was another player—a woman, by the way they'd pulled him into the alley. But as his eyes adjusted to the shadows, Allen's frown deepened.

"Elio?" he muttered, surprised.

Elio gave him a quick, stern look and pressed a finger to his lips. "Shhh!" he whispered, glancing out of the alleyway. A few female players hurried past, each one with a determined look, scanning the crowd like hawks in search of prey. They seed in a rush, as if desperate to catch sothing—or soone. Allen didn't need three guesses to know who that "soone" was.

Once the group had passed, Elio turned to Allen, still keeping his voice low. "Are you crazy? Walking around out there like you're not a pri target? With your reputation, you know exactly what that ans during an event like this."

Before Allen could respond, another figure popped up behind Elio—Red_King. Red_King gave Allen a quick nod, his expression half-amused, half-sympathetic. "The event's only a few days long, which makes them even more eager. Desperate, almost."

Allen glared at the two of them, his mind racing. "What are you two doing here?" he demanded, his voice sharp.

Before either of them could answer, a third figure erged from behind Red_King. This ti it was Mastercraft. Mastercraft shrugged, giving Allen a look that said it all. "Hiding, of course. What else?"

Allen rubbed his temples, sighing heavily. "You too?"

Mastercraft nodded, a wry grin on his face. "Yup. Welco to the club."

Allen crossed his arms. "Alright, I get that this is a big deal, but I need soone to explain why it's turned into absolute chaos. I an, Hell's Gate has more male players than female, right? So why am I getting hounded like this?"

Elio shook his head, leaning against the alley wall, a smirk on his lips. "True, there are more guys than girls. But here's the thing: female players aren't looking for just any guy. They're all after high-level, competent players. They want soone with power, high stats, wealth, or killer fighting skills. So, it's less about numbers and more about quality. They're basically treating this like a real wedding. If they're going to do the whole 'eternal blood oath' thing, they want a partner who'll give them so benefits."

Allen let out a low whistle, glancing at each of them. It was starting to make sense. Elio and Red_King were well-known guild leaders, each with a reputation that scread strength and authority. Mastercraft had the whole rich-guy thing going on, making him a pri catch for anyone looking for in-ga perks and luxuries. And Allen himself? He was the only player who'd ever managed to land a hit on the Devil Emperor. That kind of notoriety was bound to attract attention.

Mastercraft chid in, nodding thoughtfully. "They're not just after strong players. They're also targeting anyone who can support them long-term. And so of these girls have… expectations." He shivered slightly, as if rembering an encounter that made him think twice about leaving the safe zones.

A murmur ca from the side, catching Allen's attention. "Girls are… terrifying…" a male voice stamred. Allen glanced over to see Father^Alex looking visibly shaken. His face was pale, his eyes wide as he stared at the ground like he'd just barely escaped a near-death experience.

Allen raised an eyebrow. "You okay?"

Father^Alex glanced up, swallowing hard. "I thought I'd be safe, you know? Being a healer and all. But they were relentless. Said they wanted soone who could 'heal their hearts' or sothing." He shuddered. "I swear, so of them practically had vows written up before I could even say no."

Allen couldn't help but laugh, though there was a hint of sympathy in it. He clapped Father^Alex on the shoulder. "Sounds like you've been through the wringer, huh?"

"You have no idea," Father^Alex muttered, shaking his head. "One of them actually tried to chase down with a rope."

Elio smirked, crossing his arms. "See? This is what happens to guys with any kind of reputation during this event. High-level players, top guild mbers, rich dudes, healers… we're all targets. And since you're the one and only guy who managed to land a hit on the Devil Emperor, you're basically wearing a giant target on your back."

Allen groaned, leaning back against the wall. "Great. Just great." He looked at each of them, realizing that hiding might actually be his best option. "So, how long do you think we'll need to keep this up? I an, how long can they stay this… motivated?"

Red_King let out a dry chuckle. "It's hard to say. The event runs for a few more days, and so of these players are dead-set on finding a partner before it's over. It's like they think if they don't marry soone now, they'll lose out on the best loot or sothing."

"Which, to be fair, they kind of will," Mastercraft added. "The event bonuses are ridiculous. Unique buffs, access to rare quests, top-tier gear drops… Honestly, I almost get why they're going this far. But still…"

Father^Alex shivered again. "Nothing's worth this level of desperation."

Allen sighed, glancing out of the alleyway to see if the coast was clear. "I just wanted to pick up a few items, maybe grind a bit. Now it feels like I'm trapped in so twisted dating sim."

Elio smirked, nudging him. "Welco to Hell's Gate, where even love is a battlefield."

Allen rolled his eyes, letting out a groan. "So what, we can't do anything today? Just hide out until this madness dies down?"

Elio raised an eyebrow, leaning back against the wall with a casual shrug. "You could still try doing stuff, but I'd recomnd your Hiding skill if you want to avoid being sward."

Allen sighed, crossing his arms. "I ca here to check the market. I can't exactly browse for items while invisible, can I?"

Red_King chuckled, shaking his head. "Forget browsing the market. Right now, it's impossible unless you're… you know, married. Or at least pretending to be."
