Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives Chapter 1146: Unbelievable
Villain Ch 1146. Unbelievable…
anwhile...
As soon as Zael, or rather Allen, and the Devil Emperor, or more accurately, Emma, exited the portal that was supposed to transport them to the Cursed Crypts, they found themselves in a strange blank space. It was as if the world itself hadn't loaded properly, leaving them in a sterile, endless void with no landmarks, no horizon—nothing. The only thing standing out in the void was Kafra waiting for them with her arms crossed and an expression that could only be described as pure rage.
The notification popped up in front of Allen's face.
[You are back to your main character.]
With a blink, Allen's avatar shifted from the corrupted Zael back into his full-fledged Devil Emperor form. Besides him, Emma transford as well, her avatar reverting to her character, BattleGoddess, her usual smug grin plastered across her face, although it seed a bit more nervous now.
Kafra didn't speak imdiately. She just stood there, glaring at Emma with an intensity that could lt stone. No, this wasn't just the typical 'you're in trouble' look. This was the look that scread rage—the kind that made her stomach twist because she knew she was in for it.
Allen glanced at his sister. He had been the one planning to get mad at Emma—to chew her out for almost ruining the entire company's big event with her reckless behavior. He could already picture the chaos the ga developers must have gone through the mont they realized that Emma, in her typical carefree and rebellious manner, had interfered in a highly scripted and controlled event.
He didn't need to imagine the panic. The ga had millions of players, and this special event was the focal point for the whole community. If Emma's little stunt had gone sideways, it wouldn't have just been a small hiccup. It could have spiraled into a PR disaster.
Kafra, however, had clearly taken it personally. Allen could tell from her expression. She wasn't just mad. She was furious.
And when Emma caught that look—the one that felt like Kafra was just a breath away from spanking her like a child—she pressed her lips together nervously. Her usual cocky deanor faltered, but there was no regret in her eyes. Just… anticipation. Like she knew exactly what she had done, understood the consequences, and was still ready to face them.
But the nerve—she had done it anyway.
"Seriously, Emma?" Kafra's voice was sharp, dripping with anger. "You think this was just a ga for you to ss around in? You realize what you almost did, right?"
Emma, of course, grinned nervously, trying to diffuse the situation. "Uh... well..." She paused, her grin becoming sheepish as she glanced between Kafra and Allen. "This is the first ti I've ever gotten to kill you both in the ga. Can you guys at least give a minute to celebrate it before the execution?"
Allen groaned, his frown deepening as he folded his arms across his chest. "All of that... just to kill and Kafra?" he muttered, his voice tinged with disbelief.
Emma turned to him, flashing a proud smile. "Not just kill you, but torture you." Her grin widened as she added, "When else am I going to get the chance to kick you around and pull your hair without you being able to fight back? It was a once-in-a-lifeti opportunity!"
Allen stared at her, stunned. He could hardly believe what he was hearing. He rubbed his temples, trying to process the absurdity of it all. "All of that... just for that?" He shook his head slowly, the disbelief evident in his tone. "Unbelievable..."
Kafra, still fuming, took a step forward, her gaze fixed on Emma. "Do you have any idea how close you ca to breaking everything? Do you even understand the kind of ss you created back at HQ? The staff were losing their minds when they realized you hijacked the event!"
Emma shifted her weight, trying to play it cool, but Allen could see the slight crack in her facade. She knew she was in trouble, but true to her nature, she wasn't about to show any regret. If anything, there was a glint of mischief in her eyes, like she was still proud of what she had pulled off.
"Look," Emma began, her voice calm but holding that familiar edge of defiance, "I knew what I was doing. But… It's not like I broke the ga. Everything was still working fine, wasn't it?" She raised her eyebrows, as if that would sohow justify her actions or maybe, lessen her punishnt.
Allen sighed deeply. This was exactly why Jordan had never let Emma beco the Devil Emperor. For all her gaming skill—and she was talented—she was reckless. She didn't think about the bigger picture, about the consequences. She did things because they were fun, because they challenged her. But sotis... sotis, it went too far.
"Emma," Allen said, his voice low, trying to rein in his own frustration, "do you even realize what you just did?" He pinched the bridge of his nose, already feeling a headache forming. "This wasn't just so random ga session. You could've seriously ruined the entire event."
Emma pressed her lips together, her eyes darting from Allen to Kafra, who was still glaring at her like she was ready to blow. Emma shifted her weight, but her grin, while nervous, remained. "I know. If I didn't know, I wouldn't be standing here, would I? I'm prepared for the consequences," she said, her voice surprisingly steady. "But I also know you and Kafra can fix this. I've seen what you're capable of." She shrugged slightly, trying to downplay the severity.
That only seed to stoke Kafra's anger further. Her hands tightened into fists, her normally calm deanor nowhere to be found. "That doesn't make things any better, Emma!" she snapped. "Just because we can fix it doesn't an you should've gone off and done sothing this reckless. Do you know how many staff were panicking the second you interfered? Do you even understand the damage control we had to put in place?"
