“It’s terrible, sir. Soone’s broken in with a gun, and the guards are dead,” the butler reported to Wang Hong, visibly shaken.
Wang Hong doubted his ears until the gunfire neared, his face turning grim. He rushed to his bedroom to retrieve the handgun he had hidden away.
The Wang family had many bodyguards, especially after the previous assassination of the old patriarch. Wang Hong had specifically hired nurous guards for their protection.
However, against Zero, these bodyguards were rely sitting ducks. They stood no chance without weapons to defend themselves against Zero. Even for a prominent family like the Wangs, arming their bodyguards wasn’t a trivial matter.
Wang Hong walked out with his hidden gun and found the butler lifeless on the ground, and not a single guard was left alive.
