And as if answering him, three figures appeared on the horizon, moving towards him at a moderately fast speed.
The one to the right had long auburn hair, deep blue eyes, and a handso face. His hair was neatly combed, and he wore a blue bandana matching his eyes like a headband.
The one to the left had long, crimson-red hair that flew freely, cascading over his shoulders like a midnight waterfall. He possessed sharp, angular features and piercing crimson eyes that seed to glow with a hint of restrained fury.
The one in the middle had long, raven-black hair that was tied neatly. His crystal red eyes shone with crimson radiance. His face, unimaginably handso.
"W-Who are they?" Lin Feng felt alard by their appearance. Since the emperor realm cultivators waited for their appearance, they must be powerful enough to reassure them.
However, as soon as he sensed their cultivation, he couldn't help but be confused.
The two on the sides were only at King Realm; anwhile, the most pathetic one was in the middle, being only at the ninth stage of core formation.
Are they just a diversion?
Lin Feng couldn't help but wonder as he looked around to sense anyone else approaching; however, he couldn't. There was no movent other than them in the surroundings.
Just what were they planning?
Are these weaklings really the ones they have been waiting for?
Lin Feng was stunned by this revelation.
He looked at the emperors in front of him and laughed:
"Hahaha, you fools! Do you really think these weaklings can change anything?"
Then, his eyes narrowed as he threatened, "Don't test my patience. Answer , do you want to continue coming after my life, or do you wish to end this here?"
The elders looked at each other, sharing worried glances; anwhile, the Blood Demon Lord and Tian Jian Patriarch held themselves back from shouting.
The sect master looked at Lin Feng and just sighed instead of answering him.
This made Lin Feng's lips curl as he threatened, "If you don't answer imdiately, in that case, I'll be taking my leave."
"You cannot," A calm voice ca from his right as his gaze turned to the source.
Just then did he realize that the three figures had already reached them.
The one who spoke was the pathetic core-formation realm cultivator.
To Lin Feng's surprise, the core-formation realm cultivator was getting an unusual reaction from the emperor realm cultivators.
He noticed that four of the remaining seven elders of the Eastern Sovereign Hall created a circle around him to protect him.
Lin Feng ignored this reaction as just sothing necessary to protect soone as feeble as him.
"Oh," Lin Feng raised his brow with an amused smile, "and who will stop ?"
Fixing his gaze at the core-formation realm cultivator, he mocked, "Don't tell , you think you can stop with your pathetic strength."
"How dare you talk to his highness like that?" The Blood Demon Lord roared, "Apologize this instant."
"His Highness?" Lin Feng's eyes widened in astonishnt. "This weakling is a prince?"
Hearing his words, almost everyone gulped, looking at Ashen to see his reaction.
However, he didn't react as they had expected.
"Pfft." Ashen almost failed to hold his laughter.
He looked at Lin Feng and nodded with a polite smile: "Yes, you are right. I'm weak."
"But..." Then, his smile widened as he added, "That is only true when you look solely at my individual strength."
"You see..." He shrugged and continued, "You might've already fallen into my trap without even realizing it."
"Really?" Lin Feng smirked. "I would like to find that out myself."
After saying that, he turned around and flew away from them at a terrifying speed.
The wind brushed against his face as he moved through the sky.
"Hmph. Fool."
As Ashen's voice entered his ears, his eyes widened.
He should've already travelled a great distance from Ashen to hear his voice.
To confirm his suspicion, he turned to look behind him. Upon noticing his surroundings, his pupils widened in shock.
He realized that he hadn't even travelled a full ter from his previous spot.
"H-How is this possible?" He asked, horrified by the realization.
"Is this an illusion?" He guessed.
However, Ashen's next words cleared his doubts, telling him exactly what was happening to him.
"Lin Feng, you didn't think only you could make use of array flags? If so, then you will be surprised to see the Shang Clan's collection of array flags. They have too many to count."
Of course Lin Feng couldn't compete with a sacred clan like the Shang Clan, but even then, his array flags were of the highest grade allowed under heaven.
"Y-You an this is the work of an array flag?" Lin Feng asked with surprise.
He wanted to confirm if what he thought was true.
If it was indeed the work of an array flag, then he had a plan.
Destroying the array flag or the one controlling it would undo the array's effect.
He just had to find the array flag or the one controlling it to escape this predicant.
Ashen nodded: "Of course."
He paused and then added with a grin, "However, it isn't the only array flag you have to worry about."
At the sa mont as he said that, another array flag manifested in his hands out of thin air.
Ashen lifted it before slamming it into the ground, planting it in place.
In the next mont, an array manifested around it in a circle, and on the boundary of that circle, white marble pillars erupted out of the ground.
The Blood Demon Lord, Tian Jian Tribe Patriarch, Baihu Patriarch, and the remaining elders, along with the sect master of the Eastern Sovereign Hall, all moved close to one pillar of their choosing.
Placing their hands on the pillars, they injected their core qi into them.
anwhile, four elders of the Eastern Sovereign Hall remained around Ashen to protect him.
Lin Feng watched the scene with caution as he recognized that array.
It resembled the formation that he had shattered a month ago. The sa formation that the Eastern Sovereign Hall relied on.
