The next day, two flying ships landed in front of the Beast King Sect, with all the peak masters present to greet the passengers on the ships.
These flying ships belonged to Zhuji Fanrong, the princess of the Zhuji Tribe, and Zhuji Ming Han, the first Prince of the Zhuji Tribe.
The first to descend from their ship was the first Prince, Zhuji Ming Han’s entourage, trailed by three King realm experts.
These King realm cultivators were none other than the three prefecture lords who had already pledged their allegiance to the first prince long before.
The three prefecture lords all belonged to the northern prefecture of the tribe.
The northern prefecture was the only prefecture that didn’t share its border with other tribes and hence, didn’t require the prefecture lords’ protection.
It was for this reason that the prefecture lords had too much free ti on their hands and therefore, joined the prince’s side to participate in the ga of succession.
They desired to gain the most benefits once the prince beca the patriarch of the tribe and, therefore, were the first ones to join his faction.
For them, it was like a long-term investnt that would bear fruit once the prince succeeded the matriarch.
However, they didn’t expect Fanrong to make a coback in this way and beco a threat to the prince.
As soon as the prince was inford of the Conqueror’s Battlefield by the supre minister, the prince imdiately sent summons for the prefecture lords, and in a matter of hours, they ca to his side.
He knew how important it would be to get the supre elders of the Beast King sect on their side. For this, he needed to exhibit his superior strength.
If he were to show that he already had three prefecture lords on his side, it would tempt the elders to join the stronger side that was most likely to win.
Moreover, if the prince could get the supre elders to join his side too, then the other prefecture lords would by default join his side, since he would beco the clear winner with six prefecture lords’ support.
Knowing this, he couldn’t help but be cautious.
The prince had thus brought his three enslaved core-formation beasts. The Prince, Zhuji Ming Han, was already a 9th-stage core-formation realm cultivator, just so years away from advancing to the king realm.
The three prefecture lords each had brought their King realm Bond Beast that accompanied them by walking behind them.
In the Zhuji tribe, most King realm cultivators only had one King realm enslaved beast, most likely their bond beast.
There were mainly two reasons for this.
First, enslaving a beast required ntal strength and a stronger will; however, if one were to take help from others in defeating a beast to enslave it, then the beast would retaliate, consuming a large amount of the cultivator’s ntal strength, making it difficult for them to maintain their control.
Second, the agreent with the four emperor realm beasts of the forest. The other tribes feared the Zhuji tribe’s increasing strength and thus ca up with rules to restrict their power.
This agreent allowed the four emperor realm spirit beasts to retaliate against the Zhuji tribe if their cultivators used unfair ans to enslave a large number of beasts.
Due to these reasons, to enslave a beast, a cultivator had to defeat a beast in a fair fight to weaken their will and make it easy for them to accept the cultivator as their master.
This in itself made it a great risk to try to enslave powerful beasts, since one could actually lose their bond beast if they were to be defeated in battle against a powerful beast.
With all these rules and difficulties in place, most prefecture lords only had one king realm spirit beast.
However, two of the supre elders of the Beast King Sect had two enslaved king realm spirit beasts.
This further increased the importance of this eting which both royal siblings were going to have with the elders.
As the prince and his entourage finished their descent from the ship, the princess’s ship’s passengers, too, began to fly out of the ship.
First to appear was the Princess herself, followed closely by Zhu Loyan.
As they appeared, the prince’s attention swiftly went to their ship, waiting to see the man he had heard so much about.
The way the supre minister described this man was nothing to scoff at.
The prince was a smart man and knew that Fanrong was just a figurehead and the real threat was this man, who, as soon as he appeared, shook the entire tribe.
He wanted to know just what kind of a man would be chosen by the Beast Sovereign as his successor.
Soon, he saw a figure leaping out of the ship, descending slowly on the ground before joining Fanrong and Zhu Loyan.
He scrutinized his gaze, trying to see how he was any different from the prefecture lords who followed him; however, no matter how hard he looked, he couldn’t see him as soone extraordinary.
He was average in every sense, be it appearance or cultivation.
Yes, advancing to the king realm at 39 was a big deal; however, from what he heard, it was because of the treasure he received as the inheritance from the Beast Sovereign.
Breaking his chain of thought was a comnt from one of the prefecture lords who followed him:
"How is this man a genius? My prince, don’t you think you were overestimating him?"
The prince shook his head as he replied with a serious expression:
"Do not judge him too quickly. I’m not overestimating him, I just believe in the supre elder’s judgent."
And as if to clear their doubts, massive beasts began to jump out of the ship as they landed loudly, sending tremors into the ground.
The onlookers could easily discern that they were all king realm spirit beasts.
"F-Four tiger kings?" The prefecture lord was visibly surprised: "So it was true that he enslaved five tiger kings?"
"But there are only four here; where is the other one?" Another prefecture lord asked with an interested expression. All the tiger kings were of different species, and this was also a great opportunity to know about the beast that they had to fight later. He wanted to know about the last one.
Soon, from behind the tiger kings, a breathtaking beauty with a tiger tail and ears appeared, walking to Ashen’s side.
"Huh? She has undergone tamorphism, it seems, so that’s the reason we didn’t see her before. She was hidden behind the massive bodies of the other tiger kings." One of the Prefecture lords comnted, realizing the mystery behind her appearance.
Ba-thump! Ba-thump!...
The prince, on the other hand, found his heart racing, feeling attracted by the breathtaking beauty of this abyssal tiger queen.
