Ashen looked at the three skills and contemplated in his mind:
Hmm, I don't have two years to spare so the first skill is out. Moreover, it is too expensive for my taste.
That leaves these two skills - Serpent's rcy and Thousand Swords Purge.
Serpent's rcy is priced at two million Villain Points and can only be used once a week, however, it provides 24-hour resistance to all poisons upon use.
anwhile, Thousand Swords Purge is more expensive with a price of three Million Villain Points, however, The benefits make it worth it.
Firstly, it has a shorter cooldown period of three days. Secondly, it can cure others inflicted with poisons.
Moreover, it is a sword path skill which would make it much more suitable for .
Even though I don't work with people where I would need to cure others' poison, who knows what can happen in the future?
It is always better to prepare for the worst.
After making up his mind, he conveyed his decision to the system:
"I'll buy the third skill, Thousand Swords Purge."
[Ding! As you command, Host]
[Villain Points Left: 5,189,374]
"So I have only 5 million left, huh..." Ashen murmured before asking for another skill:
"System, Show the skills you have for resisting ntal skills like charm, enchantnt, and illusions."
The reason he asked for this type of skill was because of another demonic tribe — The i Hua Tribe.
i Hua Tribe mainly cultivated the Enchanting and Illusion arts.
The won of the i Hua Tribe were highly skilled in enchanting and illusion arts.
They use their beauty and charm to manipulate others, creating illusions that confuse or entrap their enemies.
Their powers can hypnotize, beguile, and control minds, making them master manipulators in both battle and diplomacy.
The n on the other hand used seals and binding arts to help the female cultivator enhance their enchantnts. Their strength lies in their ability to subdue opponents and control spiritual energy, enhancing the won's enchantnts.
Ashen didn't have any skill for ntal fortitude and thus, found himself in need of one when he got to know about this tribe.
[Ding! Host, These are the skills that are available]

Looking at the skills, he instantly bought the first skill — Lotus Mind Barrier.
This was exactly what he was looking for.
As for the protection from seals and binding arts, he was a bit conflicted between the two remaining skills.
Both were similar and therefore, after a bit of pondering, he decided to buy the Soulfire Ward skill.
Soulfire Ward was a passive skill that would protect him at all tis instead of needing his effort to activate it like the other skill.
With this skill, he wouldn't be bound for even a second, unlike the other skill where you'll be freed from seals and binds only after using the skill.
Being caught in a bind for even a second could be detrintal in combat and thus, Soulfire Ward was a clear choice despite its higher price.

But first, he needed to raise his 1st spirit's level to 6-star for this plan to work.
"It's good that I have already made preparations for raising my spirit's level."
Ashen murmured under his breath before leaving the Shang Clan for so unknown destination.
This was a remote location with nothing in sight but huge mountains.
Ashen descended towards one of these mountains which had an entrance to a cave inside.
As soon as he landed on the ground, a man, clad in dark robes, rushed out of the cave. His face was covered by the robe, revealing only his long green hair strands that were coming down to his neck.
Ashen glanced at his right leg, comnting with a light smile: "I see that your leg has fully healed. You are not limping like you did when you ca to et on the Emperor's Birthday."
This man was the sa one who had co to et him in the remote place outside the event arena on the Emperor's Birthday.
When Xue Nanxi had followed Ashen, she had seen this very man conversing with him.
This man was Ji Jun, the King realm rcenary who had attacked Feng Xue in the Xue Mo Tribe.
After Ji Jun went to the place Ashen had instructed him to, he was firstly healed before being given Wind Path skill tos. He trained fiercely to be of use to his first and only lord.
And it was not long before Ashen's order ca for him.
He had co on the Emperor's Birthday to inform Ashen of the completion of his order.
"I thank Master for taking notice of this unworthy servant's health. I feel delighted by your care for ." Ji Jun exclaid, kneeling on his right knee.
Ashen nodded in satisfaction at his response. He didn't know if Ji Jun would be trained properly at the location he sent him to, but now he understood why that place was called the best training facility of the Shang Clan.
After getting the support of the Shang Clan, he was inford of the various facilities the Shang Clan could provide him with. One of them being, training his underlings that he would recruit.
