Wang Ling Er fed a healing pill to Zhu Ling, helping her wake up.
She sprinkled so droplets of water on her face as Zhu Ling's eyes twitched before opening up.
"Argh..." She groaned, feeling her head heavy as she grabbed it with her left hand and sat up.
Slowly her vision beca clear from blurry as she saw Wang Ling Er looking at her.
"I'm alive?" She asked.
Wang Ling Er nodded in answer.
"How? What happened to that monster?"
She shivered as the mories of Nu Zian returned to her.
"He is dead." Wang Ling Er answered in a low voice.
"What??" Zhu Ling yelled in surprise. "Who killed him?" She asked.
Wang Ling Er stepped aside and pointed in the direction of Qin Feng.
However, Zhu Ling saw Qi Nao approaching Qin Feng with slow steps with caution.
"Oh, so it was Senior Qi Nao. As I thought." She let out a sigh of relief.
However, Wang Ling Er shook her head and corrected: "It wasn't Senior Qi Nao."
"What?? Then who?"
"It was Junior Qin Feng."
"What?? Qin Feng? But how can he kill that peak origin realm cultivator? He is only a first-stage origin realm novice." Zhu Ling asked in disbelief.
Wang Ling Er shook her head as she inford: "I don't know how he did it, but we all witnessed him killing that demonic cultivator single-handedly with only his index finger."
"What?? With only his index finger? Aren't you exaggerating this to the extre now? You want to believe sothing that ridiculous?"
She knew well about her junior brother and his power.
How could she believe that he defeated that monster cultivator with only his index finger?
"If you don't believe then see it for yourself." Wang Ling Er sighed and stepped aside.
Qi Nao was just about to touch Qin Feng as he stretched out his hand.
His hand hovered just in front of Qin Feng's chest, however, seeing that Qin Feng wasn't reacting, he got the courage to finally touch him, and,
Boom!
Qi Nao was sent flying by Qin Feng's sudden punch to his face.
"Senior brother Qi Nao!" The senior disciples yelled in worry, rushing up to help him.
"Senior Qi Nao, are you alright?" They helped him up.
Cough!
He coughed out blood as he muttered: "That was a powerful punch. I'm lucky I reacted at the last mont to reduce the impact otherwise I might be dead right now."
"What??" They were surprised to know that he was this beat up after managing to react to the punch.
Suddenly, Qin Feng appeared even more dangerous in their minds.
Qi Nao suggested: "We should leave and return to the sect. Report this incident and ask the sect for help. They will be able to know what happened to Junior Qin Feng."
The disciples nodded in agreent readily: "You are correct, Senior Brother. Let's do that."
They helped him walk as they went towards the entrance, leaving Qin Feng alone.
As he passed in front of Zhu Ling and Wang Ling Er, Qi Nao glanced at them and asked:
"Are you both coming with us? It would be better to co back with his master to help him. Don't put yourself in danger needlessly." His voice wasn't steady due to injuries he had sustained due to Qin Feng's punch.
Zhu Ling and Wang Ling Er found his plan reasonable. There wasn't anything they could do to help Qin Feng so it was better to leave and return with sect elders and peakmasters.
They followed him out of the valley, leaving Qin Feng standing alone in this valley like a statue.
However, just monts after they had left, the necklace around his neck began to shake.
A red hue similar to a mist began to rise up from the corpses of the demonic cultivators that had just been killed.
This mist then began to get sucked into the necklace.
Soon, when this mist was fully sucked up, the necklace stopped shaking.
The dark mist in Qin Feng's eyes began to dissipate, revealing his white corneas and crimson pupils.
As soon as the dark mist fully disappeared, the necklace vanished, going back into his body.
He ca back to his senses.
"Huh? What happened?" His mind was blank for a small mont before the mories rushed into his mind.
"W-Whaaat? I did all this?" He yelled in shock as he looked around, seeing the bloody ground and crushed corpses.
"How is it possible? How can I do this? Is this so kind of ability of the demonic necklace?"
He looked at his hands, however, upon seeing the cut on the tip of his index finger, the mory of him shooting those spherical crystal blood drops flashed in his mind.
"No wait!" His eyes widened as he realized:
Senior Sister Zhu Ling and the others saw use the demonic treasure.
They might not have recognized it but the others might recognize it. I even used blood path.
If the sect finds out about this, won't they ask to hand over the treasure?
Then what about my mission?
Should I just run away?"
He wondered to himself.
Yes, that is the only way.
I can't get caught by the sect.
They might even execute to get their hands on the demonic treasure.
Atleast I cannot trust them without knowing how they would react.
I will just go and hide to gather more information on how they plan to deal with .
I'm sure I'll be able to decide afterward how to move forward.
Atleast I took revenge for Chu Lin's death.
Tears welled up in his eyes before he wiped them and murmured: "I should leave first. If Senior Sister and the others return with master and sect elders, I won't be able to escape then."
He instantly activated his movent skill, leaving the valley and escaping to the north direction towards the borders.
The borders were a dangerous place where the demonic tribe would attack and the righteous tribe would defend, hence it made it easy to hide there.
No one thought anyone would willingly go there.
