---------------

When I had first opened my eyes in this darkened space, I thought for a second that I had died.

Everything was black...empty and silent.

But then the familiar sight of sothing appeared in front of and I realized where I was.

My soul space.

That endless void where everything inside ca to fight, to burn, to break. The place my other half had been living in without ever noticing...until now.

I looked in front of , and a black book ca into view.

Its cover was darker than the void itself, with a single word etched across the spine in burning red.

Sin.

The Book of Sin.

I tried to float towards it, realizing that this place must be the deepest parts of my soul considering that it was all black and Damien also didn't seem to be anywhere near .

I didn't know how it ended up here exactly, not exactly. Maybe my split personality had pulled it here when it was hiding from or maybe it had just drifted apart.

But it didn't matter. What mattered was that after all that ti back when I lived with Grandma Sylvie, I finally had the chance to look at my future again.

At my fate.

And as I looked around the blackened space, I realized sothing else.

I wasn't shaking.

I wasn't crying.

I wasn't begging for help like before.

No.

This ti, I understood the gravity of the situation.

I knew what was happening to .

Slowly and slowly moving towards a speck of light in the far corner, I continued travelling and travelling until the dot slowly started growing in size.

I did not know how long it took but by the ti I reached the speck, I realised that this place was my real soul space, and not only that, I could now even see Damien's blue blob hanging in nothing but air.

Not only that, I could also see what was happening outside now that I was back in my soul space.

There he was, the other . My split personality, the monster wearing my skin. He was in control of my body outside, and right now I could see him. He stood there, half-hidden by that pale lavender ooze, fighting Dario with a smile that wasn't mine.

And Dario…poor Dario. His blade kept flashing, his voice hoarse from screaming.

I had already read a few parts of the book of sin and knew what had just occurred, unfortunately, that was not even the last of my worries right now.

anwhile, Dario wasn't fighting just the creature in front of him, he was fighting .

My stomach twisted, but I forced myself to stay calm.

I floated silently, weightless, drifting closer to where that sickening blue blod of Damien glowed. My other half's attention was locked fully on Dario. He hadn't noticed yet.

Good.

I couldn't let him.

For a second, I thought about running forward, screaming, trying to stop him.

But no, that would be absolutely useless. I had no strength here, not compared to him.

I needed sothing else.

"Damien," I whispered inside my head as I reached closer to his soul orb, my voice steady but low, "remove that cube from my space ring and bring it here, into my consciousness."

For a mont, the system didn't answer. I could feel his hesitation.

[…You shouldn't know you can do that,] Damien finally muttered, his voice edged with confusion. [How did you wake up in the first place?!.]

I had already understood that Damien had always know when this split personality of mine would take over and I would fall unconscious, but I would deal with that later.

"I know," I said softly, fingers tightening around the Book of Sin. "But I read it. The book told . Now do it."

Another pause.

Then, reluctantly, the Villain Making System obeyed.

The air trembled in front of , and a faint glimf of light appeared. Slowly, piece by piece, a familiar object materialized into my palm.

The unknown cube.

That strange little puzzle I had almost forgotten about. Its surface was twisted and scrambled, colors mismatched, impossible at first glance.

But the mont it touched my hand, I felt it, a pulse. A heartbeat that wasn't mine.

Damien's voice hushed at , confused. […Noah. What are you doing?]

I turned the cube slowly, one face at a ti. The clicks echoed in the emptiness of my soul space as I rembered the lines from the book of sin.

A one-ti relic.

A wish to be granted.

At the cost of my soul power.

And the best part?

I smiled bitterly.

I may be weak physically. Pathetic even. But my soul? My soul was stronger than most. That was the only blessing I'd been given.

"I'm using it," I said quietly, eyes fixed on the puzzle as the colors began to line up. "If what I read in the Book of Sin is true…this cube can grant one wish. A single chance.

A single choice."

Damien's tone shifted, almost…alard. […Noah. Do you realize the price? To fuel it, your soul will—]

"I know." I cut him off gently. "But this isn't about anymore."

My thumb turned one last square. The sound echoed like thunder in the void.

The cube's surface shone brilliantly as the faces aligned, each side perfect, and whole.

The light bled into my hands, burning, heavy, but I didn't flinch. I just looked at it calmly. For the first ti, I wasn't scared of the consequences.

Damien stayed silent. I think, in that mont, even he realized I wasn't the sa Noah anymore.

I wasn't the crying boy.

I wasn't the one begging for soone else to save .

I wasn't the shadow of my own fear.

I had made my choice.

Lifting the glowing cube close to my lips, I whispered my wish.

"Kill him...

Kill my other half—"
