141 It's Over
As Cao Mao had predicted, Xie Tian could recover from the cursed water at any ti he wanted to. He simply baited for Cao Mao to get closer to ambush the latter. However, the Yin Fla was a threat to Xie Tian, so he had to cancel his plan.
In Xie Tian's dantian, only 2,000 drops of dragon yang essence were left.
Now, the protagonist had two choices.
One, Xie Tian could stop fighting and run away. Then, he could recuperate from the loss and co back to fight Cao Mao when he was stronger.
Or two, Xie Tian could bet everything in this fight. If he were to win, he could obtain Cao Mao's secrets and his treasures, including KQ.
The greed and anger influenced Xie Tian's decision. He chose the latter. He spent all of his remaining tank, transferring his energy to his fla saber, preparing to finish the fight once and for all.
The fla dragon avatar erged and united with the fla saber again. Then, it rged with Xie Tian.
Xia Tian's head transford into a dragon's head while his dragon scales hardened, expanded, and emitted red fla. He transford into a dragonewt.
Although the transformation and the power output was alarming, Cao Mao kept his head cool. Like how he always fought with the 200% difficulty clones, he ran backward, keeping the distance and observing his opponent.
The dragonewt pursued. He roared and spat magma fireballs.
Mimicking White Album, Cao Mao created energy weaponry. But instead of creating an ice sword or a fire sword, he used a strand of wooden Qi to create a tower wooden shield.
The elent Qi circulation process felt the sa as circulating many thousand drops of the essence at once. It hurt his blood vessels, so Cao Mao could only use one strand of the wooden elent Qi at a ti.
Still, an elental Qi was domineering. One strand of it could display the strength of several thousand drops of essence.
A green tower shield appeared and blocked the magma fireballs. The magma fireball exploded upon impact.
Yet, Cao Mao and his shield was unhard.
Below Xie Tian's feet, ten giant roots, created by the sa strand of wooden elent Qi, rose from the ground. They entangled his arms and legs.
Xie Tian roared and waved his hands, which had been enveloped by dragon fire, tearing the roots to pieces.
Inside the brown roots, green juices released corrosive gas. It contained the sa properties as the dryad's prison vines.
The gas lted Xie Tian's dragon scales. He could overco the trap, but he paid the price for it.
As Xie Tian's attention was on the roots and the gas, five glowing pills were flying toward him. Each grenade pill was charged with 100 strands of yang Qi.
Xie Tian suffered from a point-blank explosion. His dragon head, chest, arms, shoulders, and face lost a layer of his skin. Yet, he still absorbed all yang Qi of Cao Mao and regenerated his lost scales.
The calculated attacks of Cao Mao had just begun. Everything so far was a setup for the series of traps.
After the detonation, five more glowing pills flew toward Xie Tian.
Learned from the previous attack, Xie Tian caught the pills, preparing to use Energy Drain on them to replenish his loss Qi and cancel the detonation.
But those pills didn't contain Cao Mao's Yang Qi. It hid a trap array.
Each pill was a proxy of Cao Mao. They automatically cast Life Drain and stole energy and blood from Xie Tian.
Suddenly losing his blood and his Qi, Xie Tian's transformation power was weakened.
Shocked and panicked, Xie Tian tossed the pills away.
Again, the pill trap was another distraction.
A wooden spike, created by another strand of wooden elent Qi, erged from the ground and pierced Xie Tian's back. The sharp tip exited through his chest!
The spike also contained a life steal array. As the spike was made from the wooden elent, the compatibility with leeching-related abilities was high. The trap absorbed blood directly from the wound. Within one breath, Xie Tian lost half of his blood.
That wasn't all. Two black yin fla appeared before Xie Tian. The energy-eating Yin Fla detonated and caught him in the eternal fire.
"AHHHHH!!"
Xie Tian unleashed his desperate warcry. He burnt his life force as the last resource and doused the yin fla.
As a consequence of burning one's life force, Xie Tian's cultivation potential was crippled for eternity. Should he survive the fight today, he wouldn't be able to ascend to the immortal realm.
Now, Xie Tian ran out of energy, and he didn't want to fight anymore. The protagonist pulled himself out of the wooden spike. He kicked the ground, fleeing from Cao Mao.
Cao Mao dismissed the ice do barrier, which had protected him from CJ's grenades. Using Haunting Ghost Footwork with wooden elent Qi, Cao Mao's footsteps left a trail of grass field behind while his body was cladded in tree barks.
Cao Mao caught up with Xie Tian. KQ in his right hand cackled as she was looking forward to devouring this dragonewt's Qi and blood.
Cao Mao swung his katana!

No plot armor could save Xie Tian this ti. Cao Mao cut the nerve cord behind Xie Tian's neck.
The protagonist lost the control over his body from the neck and below. He collapsed to the ground.
Killer Queen didn't finish. She began absorbing Xie Tian's remaining life force. Cao Mao also seized the protagonist's head, casting life steal on him to rob his remaining dragon blood.
Without allowing Xie Tian to utter his last word, KQ and Cao Mao coordinated, stealing all Qi and Blood to the last drop.
Xie Tian's eyes rolled upward as his body thinned, turning into a dried mummy.
Five seconds later, it was over.
Cao Mao stared at the dried corpse, paranoid that the protagonist might resurrect himself with another stupid plot armor again.
But his worries was for nothing.

Annoyed but curious, Cao Mao used Vampiric Touch on it, drawing the energy into his body.

Cao Mao gazed at the system ssage panel with a blank look. No word could describe his feeling at the mont.
Thinking back, a lot had happened during Cao Mao's journey to weaken Xie Tian. He had peeled and stolen many layers of the protagonist's plot armors. In the end, he secured enough resources to overpower Xie Tian and ultimately kill him.
Cao Mao was also thankful to Erald Hopea. Without her help, he might not be able to overpower Xie Tian today.
As if a mountain had been moved out of his chest, Cao Mao felt lightened. He laid on his back, running out of strength.
"It's over. It's finally over."
