104 Ergency Evacuation 3
White Album, aka Xu Miao's familiar, was originally the clone of Xu Xiuying. She inherited all of Xu Xiuying's skills, mory, and experience. However, her strength was restricted by the system.
With 5% strength of the original, White Album's usefulness was limited. Still, Xu Miao deployed her to be Wei Yuan's guide and guardian.
As a spiritual being, White Album sneaked into Wei Yuan's room undetected. She waved her semi-transparent hand to tease her master's future wife.

Xu Miao guided them to the secret passage, which connected to the B1 floor, directly linked to Yao Lan's personal office.
The passage was dark and narrow. Everyone had to form a single file, traveling through the unknown tunnel.
The leading figure, Xu Miao, lighted the path with his smartphone's flashlight. As he was the only one with Yao Lan's map, he knew the way out.
After half an hour of walking, they traveled 300 ters north. Everyone was hopeful as nobody had started pursuing them yet.
But Xu Miao suddenly stopped his feet after he reached a dead end.
Long ifang, who was following behind him, smacked the back of Xu Miao's head, "You've led us to a dead end. What are you doing? I thought you knew the way."
"This is the right way. The map said that there is no dead end, but we will run into a protective array here."
"An array?"
Long ifang switched place with Xu Miao and examined the wall. When she extended her hand to touch the wall, it went through.
The faint energy of the illusion array tickled Long ifang's skin. It was harmless, but she didn't like it. Yet, she expanded her senses to scan the opposite side of the wall.
"I see. This is an illusion array. Aside from the illusion, I don't sense any trap here."
As the strongest person in the group, Long ifang jumped into the illusion wall to secure the foothold. Xu Miao took out Killer Queen from his spatial ring and rushed after her.
The place they entered was a sewer tunnel. Wastewater was an ankle-high, and the sll of thane covered the entire place.
Xu Miao ignored the dirty water as he read the map on his smartphone's screen. From this point on, everyone could escape through the sewer passage further north. After a few kiloters, they could exit the city through the other end of the tunnel, which would lead them to the Crimson River.
Crimson River was located north of the Mountain Goose City. It was one of the two major rivers of the Aves Continent. Across the river to the north, the Sky Duck City was there.
Once all disciples got to the Sky Duck City, they could escape from Xu Xiuying's influence and the crisis temporarily. However, Xu Miao couldn't guarantee their safety once they were with the Zhu Clan.
Thus, Xu Miao and everybody here had to make an important decision here. Those who were willing to take shelter under the Zhu Clan could proceed toward the north.
And those who were unwilling, they could tag along with Xu Miao.
After all, he had other plans.
First, Xu Miao had to pick up Wei Yuan, who had agreed to elope with him. He had already sent White Album to protect her, but he still needed to secure the escape route for them.
Secondly, Xu Miao didn't want to be manipulated by demons or greedy villains anymore since he had secured enough resources to be independent. He planned to lay low and strengthen himself with Jiang Lan, Kang Yan, the 10 slaves, and any girl who chose to go with him. As for the broken girls, it would be up to Long ifang if she could entrust them to him.
And lastly, Xie Tian was still around sowhere. Xu Miao wasn't confident that he could kill the protagonist when Xu Xiuying kept interfering with his plans. He had about 11 months left to complete the quest, so his remaining ti was too precious to be wasted by working for Xu Xiuying.
Xu Miao switched apps and checked the ssages he got from Wei Yuan. He had sent White Album to Wei Yuan's side in advance, and she seed to have t the girl, judging from the 99 unread ssages.

Xu Miao scratched his head. The nagging reminded him of his ex-girlfriends in the modern world.

Long ifang's voice broke Xu Miao's train of thoughts. He looked at her and the disciples, who entered the sewer and showed distorted expression because of the sll.
"I've already sent you a copy of the underground map. Take everyone to the north and exit through the tunnel connecting to the Crimson River. Once you've crossed the river to the north, you'll reach Sky Duck City. You should be able to take shelter under the Zhu Clan."
"Do you know the Zhu Clan?"
Xu Miao shrugged, "Of course not. Elder Yao Lan gave the map and told to take everybody there when shit happens."
Long ifang might be ignorant but she was a quick learner. With a few hints, she understood the underlying motives of Yao Lan and Xu Miao.
"So, it was Yao Lan. That explains a lot. That bitch and other elders must have already fled with the missing disciples. Say, can you contact her?"
"You should contact her yourself. I have sothing else to do. I won't be going to Sky Duck City with you right now."
"What? You aren't coming with us?"
Xu Miao revealed a wry smile, "As I said, I have other plans."
Xu Miao didn't tell Long ifang that he was planning to rescue Wei Yuan, so he could get another valuable dual-cultivation partner and a bargaining chip to negotiate with the Wei Clan. He waved his hand and to chase Long ifang away, "Take your disciples and go already. They are waiting for your order."
Long ifang turned to the disciples, who had gathered in the sewer. Their faces were written, "Get us outta here. It's stink!"
Since the safety of these disciples ca first, Long ifang didn't bother questioning Xu Miao. She turned around and gestured them to follow her.
The girls rushed after Long ifang while they minded their footsteps. The new girls, who exited from the illusion wall, also followed after them without uttering a word.
Xu Miao stayed behind and gazed at the leaving group. Jiang Lan, Kang Yan, and the 10 slaves were by his side. But there was soone that didn't belong to the group.
Long ifang and the disciples forgot a sack, which she had been carrying. Inside the sack was a cannibalism girl, whose sanity was corrupted by one of Xu Xiuying's mysterious arts. She wiggled and struggled to free herself. A muffled groaning voice was audible when Xu Miao paid attention.
"That fucking airhead forgot her luggage," Xu Miao shook his head.
"What should we do with her?" Kang Yan picked the sack and carried it on her shoulder.
"She can still be useful if the pursuers show up. For now, let's put her to sleep. Her noise is getting louder."
Kang Yan smiled and injected her Qi into the crazy girl's dantian. The latter fainted, and the muffled voice stopped.
Xu Miao gestured the group to follow him toward the west.
From the map that Yao Lan gave Xu Miao, it revealed that the sewer system connected to the city and the mountain goose sect. However, he didn't know where they could lead since Yao Lan never told him about the other paths.
Still, getting close to the mountain goose's sewer system was Xu Miao's top priority. After that, he could summon back White Album to scout for the routes and get Wei Yuan out of there.

A few hours later, Xu Miao led his loyal slaves two kiloters northwest.
But when they reached the point where they were under the Mountain Goose hill, they ran into a stranger and their sworn enemy.
A smartphone flashlight pointed at Xu Miao and everyone's faces. A silver-haired woman and a young man with black veins were glaring at them.
Xie Tian glared at Xu Miao. His red eyes glowed in the dark sewer.
Xiong Zhenzhen summoned her sky-grade broadsword and prepared to fight while her sight locked on Jiang Lan and everyone else.
"Who goes there!?"
