"What you need to know is that they are also part of my investnts. You could say they are the most profitable of them all," the bizarre Will of the Divine Mysteries said with a chuckle.

A solemn atmosphere lingered in the grand hall this ti around.

Seeing that none of them were willing to speak once more.

"I’ve made an alliance with them to help us with our forthcoming plan."

"If you trust them enough to reveal our plans, then I’ll choose to believe you. Since you’re suggesting this, it ans you want us to et with them, right?" another mysterious voice responded.

"Yes," the bizarre Will of the Divine Mysteries replied.

"It’s best if you bring that new general you appointed several months ago and so humans. It might help smooth the relationship. But before then, I’ll arrange a place where you all can et and discuss, away from prying eyes." He shifted his attention toward another mysterious clone.

"Are they related to them?" another voice echoed from the throne, wondering why ’it’ had specifically ntioned the Lichal’s general and the humans.

"I’m not certain. You’ll have to find out yourselves," the bizarre Will of the Divine Mysteries said again.

"For now, it’s best you prepare yourselves. You’ll also be dealing with other ancient divines, so don’t think about intimidating them. That would only create more friction. The more honest you are, the better things will turn out."

"Also... do any of you won here want a partner?"

As ’it’ spoke, the others listened intently. Their eyes sharpened when it was ntioned that there were ancient divines among those forces as well. So of them were also ancient divines. They abandoned the idea of probing too deeply into those forces, knowing it would be futile.

Upon hearing ’it’ following words, they couldn’t help but be surprised. At the sa ti, they inwardly understood how such a force had caught the attention and investnt of the Will of the Divine Mysteries.

It was obviously similar to them. Though not yet stated directly, they suspected that the true gods within that force were the ancient divines.

There were nurous other realms scattered across the Material Realm and others constructed within the Spirit Realm. These weren’t sanctuaries, but concealed dinsions created by divines and ancient divines who had escaped the broken Material Realm.

However, they all had one thing in common: they were being hunted by the Divine Corps.

Every few months or years, they received news from the outside world detailing the Divine Corps’ assault on another realm. Most were destroyed, and only a small minority were captured, though their current fate remained unknown.

The Spirit Realm, due to its own limitations, wasn’t any less dangerous than the Material Realm. The Divine Corps had built fortresses at many of the Spiritual Link Points to the Spirit Realm to capture fugitives and prevent them from returning to the Material Realm.

No one knew precisely when the Divine Corps was created, only that they were sohow connected to the Runaway Cities, the places where survivors had escaped the Vylkr vines’ calamities.

The Divine Corps were as dangerous as Vylkr spawns, perhaps even more so due to their precision.

Because of this, these divine beings remained in seclusion, fearing that they would expose their locations. Only their spies, mortals, demigods, and even so leaders of Grade Three Runaway Cities, travelled between the realms to relay information.

Thousands of years ago, they were ready to die if discovered.

However, with the Will of the Divine Mysteries’ support, they could now pass ssages freely and gain valuable information about the Material Realm, thereby connecting various sanctuaries and realms.

Of course, they knew that ’it’ had its own agenda.

But then again, who didn’t?

As long as they could achieve their own goals, ’it’ was also free to pursue its own.

So, for such a mysterious force to have survived up to this point, it ant that it might have developed to this level due to the ancient divine’s handiwork.

Upon hearing the odd question from ’it’, they couldn’t help but feel confused.

Sensing their confusion, the bizarre Will of the Divine Mysteries added,

"I’m considering tying our forces together through an engagent. That way, we’ll form stronger bonds. There’s also a chance for you to join a divine household and pass on your divine heritage. What do you think?"

"Does this god practice the Law of Fertility?" one of them asked.

The bizarre Will of the Divine Mysteries shook his head. "Not exactly. But he is the most fertile god I know. You could say it’s a talent."

They were even more confused by that answer.

"The more ti you waste thinking, the more this opportunity slips away. The one I’m proposing as your partner is the leader of that force, and a true god. He may be lecherous, but he’s no fool. If he chooses to take you as a partner, he’ll provide you with resources that even I cannot offer."

"Rember: in a force filled with true gods, the only real disparity lies in the number of true gods and the laws they’ve mastered. So don’t overthink it. I assure you, he’s far more impressive than any of you. Consider what I said, and see if any of you are interested in taking a partner and securing your future. "

Upon hearing the words of the bizarre Will of the Divine Mysteries, they were even more bewildered. It felt like the more they learned about this mysterious force, the more mysterious it beca.

The bizarre Will of the Divine Mysteries sighed. "Since none of you seem interested, send a detailed ssage to the others. I doubt all of them would pass on the chance to gain a partner for the sake of our alliance."

"Don’t forget to bring that general and those humans over also." With that, the bizarre Will of the Divine Mysteries vanished into thin air.

Once they confird that ’it’ was no longer in the hall, a voice echoed from one of the thrones.

"What do you all think of this?"

"I’m more interested in why he recomnded Lachel’s newly appointed general and the humans. He was only discovered in the outer world a few months ago. Though he has grown rapidly in a short ti, I don’t see what other qualifications he has to catch the Will of the Divine Mysteries’ attention. Could it be that he shares so hidden connection with this mysterious force? What do you think, Lachel?"

"Don’t ask . I don’t know either. The only thing unique about him is that his fate is unreadable, and I couldn’t find anything of value within his mories. We’ll have to interrogate him again later. As for the humans, I can guess ’it’s’ intentions.

We can only assu that this force has a human among their ranks. When they learn how well mbers of their race have been treated in our domain, we will have the opportunity to build a good relationship with them."

"The force only possesses two true gods, which isn’t even a grain of sand compared to what we have in the Southern Sanctuary. Even if more true gods are expected to ascend in the future, which is impressive, it still shouldn’t be enough for ’it’ to regard them more highly than us.

That’s why I believe ’it’ is hiding sothing from us, choosing not to reveal it because it’s afraid of how we might react."

"I believe so, too. The last ti I saw it that enthusiastic was after establishing contact with the Northern and Western Sanctuaries, and when it managed to capture mbers of the Divine Corps. I doubt the investnts ’it’ placed in them were any less than what ’it’ invested in us.

But for ’it’ to suggest forging an alliance through engagent... does that an this true god possesses a talent that enhances fertility to the point of impregnating another?"

"Hmph! I think ’it’ no longer takes us seriously now that ’it’ has found another weapon to use against the Divine Corps and the Vylkr spawns. Despite being the incarnation of a powerful force like the Divine Mysteries, ’it’ truly functions like a mortal.

Nonetheless, we should still et this force and see for ourselves if what ’it’ said is true. Then we can decide what action to take... and also what to do about the engagent."

Despite having no interest in sothing as mundane as an engagent, since the bizarre Will of the Divine Mysteries ntioned it, they naturally couldn’t ignore it.

They were curious about what kind of extre fertility talent this true god possessed, enough for ’it’ to recomnd an engagent between divines like themselves.

"I agree. I don’t mind being used for the engagent if it’s for the sake of the alliance, as long as the Will of the Divine Mysteries is telling the truth... fufufu. But we all know ’it’ has its own ambitions. So, at most, a few of us should go to et them first before inviting them into our domain."
