At the sa ti, a figure clad in black pierced through the space between realms at extre speed.

As he flew, stellar gates appeared before him; he would enter and reappear millions of light-years away, then imdiately enter another stellar gate.

He passed many realms, leaving markers for his armies to conquer later.

Soon, he ca upon a realm that caused him to pause. This realm wasn't specifically noteworthy, but what was happening inside piqued his interest imnsely.

inside the realm, a bloody sacrifice of the highest order was taking place. A suffocating stench of death and rotting blood stained the entire realm. Countless dismbered bodies belonging to various species floated the completely empty vacuum.

They floated in a specific order that ford a giant runic circle that spanned almost a light-year. These were the bodies of all the creatures of this realm.

except one.

A figure stood at the center of this bloody circle. Its body was a jet-black, smoke-like humanoid shadow with chilling blue glowing eyes. It stood hundreds of thousands of kiloters tall and pulsed with the aura of forbidden terror.

It stood before a blood altar, and suddenly its voice, laced with worship but also coldness, rang out,

"Oh great absolute one, the one who stands above all, the first and the last, I offer you this sacrifice as paynt for the divine. PLEASE ACCEPT!" It chanted over and over again. Soon, the bloody circle started glowing brightly like a cosmic star, and a second later, the corpses vanished. After which,

Klang!

The sound of a life limit shattering rang out throughout the entire realm. The creature's aura began to change into a divine-like essence, and its true aning, spirit, will, divine compass, and domain began to fuse into a divine core. It raised its head upwards, its arms spread out like a plus sign, and its laughter rang out,

"Hahahah—"

"!"

Suddenly, sothing unexpected happened, and its laughter ca to a stop. Its forming divine core trembled before it started to collapsing.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

Its eyes widened, and it grabbed its head, letting out a spirit-wrenching scream laced with extre pain and unwillingness,

"Aaaaaaa! How could this be?! Was the sacrifice not enough, my lord? Please give another chance, my lord, and I will double sacrifice, no, triple this amount! Please give another chance, my lord! Nooooooo!"

Pash!

Its core shattered into nothingness, and its body crumbled along with it.

"Noooo!"

'As expected, how could achieving the divine be so easy? If creatures could achieve the divine by just sacrificing an entire realm, wouldn't divine beings be as common as grass?'

Thought Apexion, and he was right; for one to ascend to a divine being, one needed to have the potentiality and the will strength to bear a law, whether ntal or physical.

For example, that creature didn't fail its ascent because of the ritual; no, it failed because it didn't have the capacity for the divine and, most importantly, the will of a divine.

Apexion cleared his mind and then calmly continued his journey. He was heading to the path that led to the inner realm. A second after he left, shatter! The realm shattered into nothingness.

Ti passed, and he ca to a stop before what seed to be a realm barrier. Only this one was a super realm cluster barrier, which was countless tis harder than a regular realm barrier.

He had traveled a distance of over ten billion light-years from his realm. He raised his right hand and touched the barrier, and—zap!—he disappeared and reappeared on a giant forest trail that stretched as far as his eyes could see.

The mont he appeared, a terrifying gravitational force descended on him, and he felt his weight increase millions of tis.

Bap!

His feet touched the ground for the first ti in a long ti; he had always floated at least a centiter off the ground, for in his eyes, the ground was only for inferior creatures to walk on…

He frowned, ignored the force, and journeyed forward. As he walked, he noticed that the further he traveled, the stronger the gravity beca, but he still ignored it and continued. He also noticed that he couldn't use any of his spatial abilities.

After traveling for a few light-years, he paused and turned to his left, raised his hand, and gently tapped the space before him, and—

Splat!

A bloody creature that was hiding in the trees a few million kiloters away from him exploded into a blood mist. His eyes flashed, and the blood mist appeared before him. He glanced at it and then muttered,

"Body at the seventh tier, but no sign of law." After which, the blood mist lit up in black flas.

Soon, he reached a section of the trail that was covered with the corpses of six-tier creatures. The corpses showed no sign of rot or death, akin to perfectly living creatures; only their spirits were nonexistent. He walked past them with indifference, and after walking for a few light-years in this area, suddenly his surroundings shifted, and he was now in a huge chamber filled with indescribably beautiful naked won of multiple different species.

They gazed at him seductively and spoke in a srizing tone, "Co, let us indulge in pleasure." After which, they slowly walked towards him. His eyes narrowed, then he swatted his right hand horizontally and,

Pash!

The chamber shattered like glass, revealing a disgusting bloody tree that towered in the sky. At the root lay dozens of corpses, their eyes blank and blissful expressions on their faces, with roots attached to their necks, that constantly absorbing their essences.

Apexion gazed at this tree and spoke, his voice laced with the law of lust, "no, let show you the true aning of pleasure." After which he tapped, and the tree morphed into an intersex tree-like creature that started uncontrollably pleasuring itself to death at speeds beyond light.

Ahh~ahh!

A few seconds later splat! the tree exploded into a bloody mist.

After which Apexion then continued his journey. Soon, he ca upon a group of humanoid creatures engaged in a bloody battle.

Five creatures that seed to be ford from black fog were under attack from tens of creatures that seed to be made from blood.

Boom! Boom!

Apexion watched the battle with interest; he could tell that the shadows were clones or doubles of an innate being. Soon, they defeated the blood creatures, and all of them simultaneously turned their heads and gazed towards him, and spoke,

"Co out!"

Apexion frowned slightly; he was a little shocked that this innate being could sense him.

'Interesting,' he thought as he stepped out from behind a tree vanishing and reappeared a ter before the creatures, who started pulsing with the law of dark fog. He gazed into their eyes and spoke in a calm tone,

"There is no need to be on guard, for I am an ally of the innate ones. You might have heard of ; my na is Apexion." As he spoke, his body released a hint of his aura.

The pressure from his aura caused the five to uncontrollably shiver, and their instincts told them that the being before them was death itself.

And Hearing his words, sothing clicked, after which they all flashed and rged into each other, morphing into a feminine humanoid ford from fog, with no facial features except for crimson glowing eyes, a nose, and with flowing hair that stretched out behind her. She imdiately knelt and said,

"Please forgive my earlier transgressions, oh great pathfinder."

"It's good that you have been inford about . You can stand. Oh, and tell how you sensed ?" questioned Apexion as he took in her foggy figure; his lustful mind couldn't help but wonder what it would feel like to enter a composition of matter such as her.

"Yes, my lord," she stood up. "The reason I could sense you—well, I didn't sense you per se, but I sensed the threat that was oozing from your direction… due to my innate ability, danger sense."

Apexion nodded with understanding, then asked, "I see. Now tell what you are doing here."

"My lord, I am tasked with journeying to a nearby super realm cluster, and as you know, this trail is the innate one's private path that leads outside this newly ford super cluster," she answered.

"Coincidentally, I am also going outside the cluster. How about we travel together and get to know each other on a deeper level?" said Apexion as he gently brushed his right hand through her foggy hair, his voice lace with lust.

….

At that ti, sowhere within the dark vacuum close to the Apexion realm, a fleet composed of thousands of obsidian towers the size of worlds ca to a standstill. In front of this fleet stood the wrathful one, his figure pulsing with majesty as he chanted,

"Oh great realm of doom, heed our call, grant us access to blood and gore, embrace us in your arms of endless battle."
