His mind raced, his thoughts burned with countless ideas and possible counterasures, and a second later, his eyes dimd even more after he ca to the conclusion that the only path for survival was sacrificing a part of his path. Relinquishing a part of his existence. And,

'YES!'

He answered yes to the contract. After rip! he felt a part of himself being ripped off,

'aahhhhhhhh!'

Pain!

He felt pain like never before, and he was certain that he was dead now, but fortunately for him, the will injected a force into his broken body; the force instantly healed him….

The mont Kane answered yes, Apexion's vision shifted and he appeared inside the ascension realm, standing on his path. The emptiness was still as suffocating as before. Suddenly,

shing!

Golden footsteps began to materialize beneath his path; it was a path, the path of Kane.

A second later, the path fully manifested, and,

ding!

A ding sound rang out as he felt a connection form between him and Kane's path.

He had gained control of over sixty percent of it.

He gazed down at the path where he saw Kane standing at the forefront, who gazed upon him, then lowered his head the next mont in submission.

He felt that if he wanted to, he could borrow so of Kane's strength and add it to his own.

A second later, his vision shifted once more, and he was back standing in the vacuum,

And,

Shatter!

The contract shattered into tiny pieces that vanished into nothingness along with the will.

Apexion's eyes flashed with many ideas, and a second later he commanded, along with so other things.

"Go and spread your path to the remaining creatures."

After which, shing! A flaming ethereal throne manifested behind him; he then sat down and closed his eyes.

Kane glanced at him with many unknown thoughts, then bowed slightly, then flashed into the distance.

"As you command."

anwhile, sowhere within the false ascension realm, a concealed figure clad in black streaked through the darkness at extre speeds; every second the figure traversed a distance of tens of thousands of light-years.

The figure was the lustful clone; it had been quite a while since he had ventured into this realm, and he had traveled for who knows how many millions of light-years and was only lucky enough to encounter two beings at the 7th tier, whom he easily killed— they were nothing special.

Two days later, he caught sight of sothing that caused his mind to buzz; to his left, about two hundred thousand light-years away from him, stood what seed to be a realm but not quite.

It was about fifty thousand light-years in diater, and its barrier was different from the average realm barrier, being blue, covered with countless runes, and it glistened a tallic hue.

His mind flashed with countless ideas, after which he flashed towards the structure.

After traveling a hundred thousand light-years, his instincts suddenly scread at him; it warned him not to go any further and not to gaze at the structure anymore.

He complied instantly, coming to a standstill, and he retracted his gaze. He trusted his instinct very much; if it wasn't for it, he would've probably been dead already.

'Could there be a being or sothing at the 8th tier inside that structure?' he wondered silently, for only sothing at that level could possibly cause him to feel danger to the point where his instincts would scream out at him.

And there was no way he could face sothing at that level, not now.

Calculations upon calculations flashed through his mind.

He then decided the best thing for him to do was wait. Wait and see if anthing happened.

So he closed his starry eyes and sat cross-legged. His body constantly vibrated.

Years passed when suddenly sothing happened that alerted Apexion; rip! The barrier around the structure opened, after which a giant blue ship asuring a hundred thousand kiloters in diater appeared; it pulsed with an ancient aura. It rotated slightly, then shot in a specific direction, covering ten thousand light-years every second

.

Vash!

Apexion opened his eyes, instantly making countless calculations, then flashed towards the ship. In an instant, he arrived a few light-years behind it.

While traveling, he made sure to scan it.

'Three 7th tiers,' he sensed three beings at the seventh tier inside the ship.

He decided to wait until the ship traveled further from the structure before he made his move.

Ti passed; the ship had journeyed for over a million light-years.

And Apexion's body started to pulse as he stretched out his right hand and grasped towards the moving ship, and,

Shing!

An obsidian paw instantly manifested before it, and like grasping a fly, it grasped the ship; boom! The ship instantly ca to a standstill.

A second later, three terrifying wills exploded from the ship along with a lodic voice laced with anger,

"How dare you!"

After which, pash! The force from the wills shattered the paw that held the ship.

Apexion frowned slightly, then a small runic obsidian sphere flashed from his body, then exploded;

boom! Shing!

The explosion gave birth to a force that instantly engulfed everything within a few thousand light-years; the force then ford a barrier that sealed the space and concealed every movent.

At the sa ti, three glowing figures appeared above the ship, all three humanoids, standing a thousand kiloters tall, clad in blue tallic armor.

They had sky-blue skin tones, with white tentacle-like hair, and tails that stretched out thousands of kiloters behind them like cosmic whips.

Two of them were male and one female.

Their oceanic eyes gazed at Apexion with caution and killing intent; they could feel a heavy pressure just by being in his presence. If it wasn't for that, they would have attacked him already… many thoughts flashed through their minds.

A second later, the female, who seed to be the leader, spoke in an angry tone, her voice laced with the law of whip,

"How dare you attack us? Don't you know who we represent?" After which she pointed at the crystalline symbol engraved on the center of her armor.

Apexion didn't reply; he just gazed at them silently as he deduced their abilities and their counterasures based on the laws he was sensing.

As for the hint of law that was woven within the words that was trying to whip him out of existence, his innate law barrier nullified it.

A second passed, which were like minutes or hours for a creature at his level; the tension was at an all-ti high, like a cosmic volcano inching to erupt, when suddenly his eyes started shining brightly with the law of lust, and,

Bang!

A blazing obsidian, shirtless figure, with a face handso beyond description, materialized behind him; it stood tall, asuring a few light-years.

At that very mont, the female was shouted,

"Now!"

After which,

Boom! Whip! Swoosh!

Three realm-bending attacks exploded from their bodies, in the form of a blue ethereal whip that spanned a few light-years but was thin as thread, the other an ethereal ocean spanning light-years across, and the other a giant blue fist just as large as the other two.

They arrived before Apexion in an instant, but as they were about to make contact, the figure behind him pulsed, then,

boom!

A force exploded from it, stopping the attacks, then the figure spoke; its voice was lust itself,

"Why fight when you can love!"

After which its right hand vanished as it punched out, and,

"…!"

Silence.
