As she spoke, Jane turned her gaze to the small fish and shrimp around her. They were long and oddly shaped, with so having flat, plate-like bodies and others sporting a pair of erect fins.

When these fish saw Jane, they didn't seem scared. Rather than swimming away, they circled around her.
