He shook his head, visibly annoyed. "We're going to be ridiculed online for this. But fine, we'll ride it out in silence. People will forget eventually."
"And if they don't?" one exec asked.
"We bla a temporary employee," Thomas replied without hesitation.
Despite the awkward laughter, Thomas couldn't shake off the feeling of awe after watching the conference. The technology showcased by [New World] was leagues ahead of anything their company had. It was ti to take action.
