"I've already waited so long I can't hold back anymore." Revy lifted the corners of her mouth, revealing a cruel smile.

"Do you want to help?" Aiden asked.

Revy glanced at him and nodded, saying, "If you want to, go ahead."

"Alright then, according to tradition, n left, won right. I'll take care of the people coming in from the left, you handle the right…" Aiden tugged the pistol slide, starting to assign roles.

But he hadn't finished speaking when Revy interrupted, "So damn long-winded. Just kill all the living ones, isn't that fine?"

Then she added, "Wanna compete who kills more people?"

Aiden shook his head, "Sorry, even though the other side might be a bunch of damned bastards, I've never used killing as a contest."

"Alright then." Revy shrugged with an indifferent expression.

While the two were speaking, the gunfire outside had stopped. Right after, dense footsteps rang out as the group of rcenaries charged into the bar.

"Check carefully to see if there are any survivors." The rcenary commander sneered and said, "I don't like anyone still alive."

Hearing this, his subordinates began executing those collapsed on the floor, whether they were dead or not.

"I like hearing that line." Behind the bar counter, Revy coldly sneered in a low voice, then stood up and, with one hand on the counter, flipped over it.

Her physical strength was off the charts. That one push let her leap almost two ters into the air. Before landing, the two Beretta 92Fs in her hands already fired, and several rcenaries fell in response.

"Return fire! Return fire! There's a survivor!"

The reacting rcenaries shouted, raising various long guns to wildly fire at Revy, but once she landed, she started running, nimbly rolling and leaping around the bar to dodge bullets.

At the sa ti, Aiden also jumped over the counter. Unlike Revy, though, he showed much more ferocity, directly charging toward a rcenary. Before the enemy could react, Aiden slamd into his chest, snatched the handgun from his waist, and shot another rcenary nearby.

The rcenary who got his handgun stolen froze for a mont, then spread his arms to try to grab Aiden, but Aiden simply lifted a knee and smashed into him. That rcenary flew seven or eight ters away, knocking over a group of others.

But it wasn't over. Taking advantage of those rcenaries still on the ground, Aiden suddenly accelerated, then jumped into the air, shooting wildly above their heads.

Of course, though it was "wild fire," with the help of his fancy gun skill ability, every bullet was incredibly precise.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

A round of lightning-fast gunfire.

When Aiden landed and stood firm, posing with both guns crossed at his chest, the dozen or so rcenaries around had all fallen.

On each of their foreheads, a conspicuous bullet hole appeared.

"Well done, Aiden, I acknowledge you now." Revy was thoroughly amazed by Aiden's performance.

Especially when she saw him dual-wielding mid-air, firing wildly with every bullet hitting the mark, her eyes glead.

As a woman, she liked flashy but practical techniques like that. But after praising Aiden, Revy then said, "You hold them off for a bit, I'm gonna reload."

As her words dropped, she ran toward the bar, shouting as she ran, "Dutch, give cover!"

"Got it." Dutch understood who Revy ant by "cover." He leaned out from behind cover and shot two people from behind.

"I'm back again!" Jumping back behind the bar, Revy greeted the bar owner.

"You'd better not co back, Revy! I don't want to welco you." The bar owner held a shotgun and furiously roared at her, "I don't know how many tis my shop has been trashed because of you. Not a single penny in compensation. I seriously want to weld your ass shut, then drill a hole in your head."

"Aiya, aiya, let's talk about that when I've got money." Revy reloaded carelessly, said that, then jumped out from behind the bar again, laughing while shooting at the rcenaries.

Watching the two continue fighting, especially Revy laughing while shooting, Rokuro Okajima's whole body went numb. He muttered, "She… she's actually laughing. Why…"

"Rock." At this ti, he heard Dutch calling his na not far away.

He turned his head blankly, seeing Dutch speaking while firing, "Sorry, Rock, we probably can't take you back with us."

"Why?" Rokuro Okajima asked loudly.

"Because we don't want too much trouble. So, you'll have to figure sothing out yourself." Dutch looked at the rcenaries still flooding in, realizing this had turned into a major ss, and said to him.

"What kind of joke is this? I'll die here! You can't do this!" Rokuro Okajima panicked, "Please take with you. You brought here, so you should take back!"

To be honest, Dutch did have a good impression of Rokuro Okajima. Otherwise, he wouldn't have bothered giving him a nickna. Hearing his pleading, he hesitated, then looked again at Aiden and Revy. Finally, he helplessly nodded, "You're a pain in the ass… fine, we'll take you, just don't hold us back."

"I definitely won't!" Rokuro Okajima nodded quickly. If there weren't still gunfights outside, he would've bowed down right there.

Dutch waved him off, ignoring him, then shouted to the two still fighting rcenaries, "Revy! And you, Mr. Nice Guy! Ti to go. Benny's got the car ready!"

"Got it!" Revy responded, jumped beside Aiden, and slapped his shoulder, "Mr. Nice Guy, ti to go! There's a safe exit at the back of the bar!"

Aiden nodded, began retreating toward the back with Revy. Just before leaving, he pulled out an offensive grenade he found on a rcenary's body, pulled the pin, and threw it.

Boom!

In the smoke and fire of the grenade, they got in the car Benny had driven up.

The rcenaries chased them through the passage, but with one stomp on the gas pedal, Benny's car shot off.

Watching the car disappear into the night, the rcenary commander stopped his n from pursuing.

"We can't catch them. Let them go. First, count the casualties."

"Yes, Captain." A rcenary beside him nodded.

The casualties were all in the bar. Bodies lying all over the floor. Easy to count. Soon, the numbers were in. The rcenary reported, "Captain, results are in. We lost 31 people total. But since the enemy executed wounded, we have no injured. Only dead."

"What an astonishing casualty number!" The captain fell silent for a mont, then slowly spoke.

"Sorry, Captain. We thought they were just small-ti punks, so we got careless."

"This has nothing to do with being careless." The captain waved it off. "They're not just so punks. Did you notice that man? His physical ability, his combat awareness, and the techniques he used, there aren't many in EO who can do what he did. No, probably none can."

"This kind of person… is way stronger than those useless trash we ran into back in South Africa. Those guys weren't even enough to pick our teeth with, boring to 'eat.'"

At this point, the captain took off his sunglasses. A crazed smile surfaced on his vicious face, "But this ti, we've t so tough at. And I've been waiting for sothing like this…"

At sea, the torpedo boat sped forward at full throttle.

Inside, Dutch steered while saying, "At this speed, we'll arrive at Palawan Port by evening. There, we'll et with Balalaika. As for after the etup… Rock."

Dutch called Rokuro Okajima's na.

"Ah!" Rokuro Okajima hugged his knees, sitting in the corner. Hearing Dutch call, he raised his head, his eyes dull as he looked at Dutch.

"Benny is contacting your company. I believe soon you'll be able to go back."

"Really?" Rokuro's eyes regained a little light instantly.

"Of course. If negotiations fail, we'll just dump you in Manila. It's not very safe there either, but don't worry, you won't die right away." Dutch continued.

"What the hell… what kind of people are you? Dragging around without explanation, then throwing away just like that. Can't you just drop sowhere safe?" Bottled-up for so long, Rokuro finally exploded, roaring angrily.

"What the hell are you? You think you get a choice here?" Revy, who just ca up from below deck, drew her pistol and pressed it to his forehead, coldly said, "If you keep shouting, I'll let you see the color of your own brains."

That shut Rokuro up instantly. He waved his hands quickly and sat back down.

But nearby, Aiden, who was maintaining his pistol, suddenly chuckled, because he thought of soone.

"What are you laughing at?" Revy glanced sideways at him, not getting the joke.

"What you said just now reminded of soone. He always liked saying stuff like that." Aiden tried to hold in his laugh.

"Saying what?"

"Letting others see the color of their own brains." Saying that, Aiden couldn't help it and burst out laughing.

Because of his interruption, Revy lost interest in lecturing Rokuro. She put away her gun and walked over to Aiden.

"You're already cleaning it after just one magazine? That pistol important to you?" she asked.

Aiden nodded, "A friend gave it to . A very good friend."

"I see." Revy looked curiously at the pistol, which was the sa model as hers. After Aiden was mostly done, she helped assemble it, and unexpectedly saw several lines engraved on the gun.

"S.T.A.R.S." Revy read the first line aloud. "What's this an? A group na?"

Aiden nodded and was about to explain when Dutch spoke, "It's short for Special Tactics And Rescue Service."

Then he asked, "Mr. Nice Guy, was your friend an Arican cop?"

"How'd you know?"

Dutch was silent for a bit before slowly saying, "When I was in the US, I heard there was a city called Raccoon City. There was a police elite unit called S.T.A.R.S. there. But after a bioweapon outbreak, that city was nuked by the military. That elite unit disbanded too."

"No wonder… wait, what did you just say? How do you know about Raccoon City?" Aiden nodded, but suddenly sensed sothing was off, eyes widening as he looked at Dutch.

"Is that weird? I'm Arican. Why wouldn't I know?" Dutch replied gruffly. "But you, a foreigner, having a friend who's an Arican cop, that's weird."
