Because of the gunshots, many zombies appeared again near the gas station. Leon suggested they leave this place by car and head to Raccoon City.

Claire nodded in agreent, but Aiden said, "I suggest you don't go in."

"Why?" Claire asked.

"Did you see those monsters?" Aiden pointed at the approaching zombies, "The inside of Raccoon City is full of these things. That place has already beco hell. It's a city of the dead."

"So I suggest you turn back. There's still ti."

Claire didn't say anything; she lowered her head in thought, seemingly making a decision.

But Leon said directly, "Even if it's hell in there, I still have to go and take a look, especially the police station. I need to ask how much my salary is."

Hearing Leon's words, Claire ca back to her senses. She nodded, "I have to go in too. I'm looking for soone."

"Well then, I knew it would be like this." Aiden sighed. Sure enough, he couldn't change the fixed plot.

Then, he showed a terrified expression, because he saw Leon already sitting in the driver's seat.

"What are you waiting for? Get in the car." Leon patted the car door and said to him.

Aiden thought for a mont, and in the end reluctantly got into the car.

While driving, Leon introduced himself, "My na is Leon Scott Kennedy, just graduated from the police academy, preparing to report to the Raccoon City Police Departnt. What about you guys?"

"Tourist." Aiden said, holding onto the seatbelt.

Claire didn't know the danger of Leon. She was casually looking at the night scenery outside the window. After Aiden introduced himself, she said, "I'm Claire Redfield, I'm here to look for my brother."

Then she added, "He's also a police officer, a mber of Raccoon City's S.T.A.R.S unit."

"Then his salary must be high." Leon said enviously.

"Your last na is Redfield?" At this ti, Aiden knowingly asked and took the conversation from Claire.

"Chris Redfield, what is he to you?" He continued asking.

"He's my older brother." Claire looked at Aiden in surprise, "Could it be that you know him?"

Aiden nodded, "If there's only one Chris Redfield in the Raccoon City Police Departnt, then yes, I know him."

"That's definitely him." Claire clenched her fist tightly, "When I see him, I must give him a good scolding like I did when we were kids, to let him know what happens when he offends his dearest sister."

"Then your plan might fail." Aiden shook his head and said.

"Why?" Claire first asked confusedly, then suddenly felt nervous and asked anxiously, "Did sothing happen to my brother?"

No sister doesn't love her brother, even if Claire always says she's going to teach her brother a lesson.

"That's not it. It's just that he went to Europe last month." Aiden turned back to explain to Claire, then intentionally asked, "Didn't he tell you?"

Sure enough, Claire's expression changed imdiately. She said through gritted teeth, "When he wrote to , he didn't say anything about going to Europe. He actually lied to ."

"Yeah, as an older brother, to lie to his sister… Claire, you should really teach him a lesson. No need to go easy on him." Aiden started fanning the flas. He would love to see the scene of a strong and burly Chris getting scolded by his little sister.

Hearing their conversation, a smile appeared on Leon's face. Even the sadness of breaking up with his girlfriend was eased a bit.

"Leon, stop smiling and focus on driving. I don't want to die in a car crash." Aiden saw Leon grinning and glared at him hard. At the sa ti, he felt that he should've insisted a bit more just now. Letting him drive was definitely a mistake.

"Don't worry. I've been stealing my dad's car to drive since I was fifteen. My driving skills are top-notch."

As soon as Leon finished speaking, a car suddenly appeared ahead, driving straight toward the police car.

"Damn, is he crazy?" Leon frantically turned the steering wheel and successfully avoided the car. But because of that, the police car drove off the highway. The bumpy grass made the car shake violently.

In such a situation, Aiden couldn't sit still. One hand pressed the door switch, the other on the seatbelt buckle, ready to jump at any ti.

Thankfully, Leon slowed the car down in ti and got the police car back on the highway.

"He's either crazy or drunk, otherwise he wouldn't be in such a hurry to et God." Leon let out a long breath, then proudly said to the two, "See? This is my skill. Don't say one car, even dozens more, I'd still be safe and sound."

Aiden and Claire looked at each other and raised their middle fingers at him in unison.

"Well fine, your actions have deeply hurt my heart." Leon sighed helplessly and focused on driving.

Soon, the police car entered Raccoon City.

Aiden let out a breath of relief and muttered, "Good thing nothing else happened."

Leon glanced at Aiden, not understanding what he was so worried about. He had seen Aiden twist the necks of several zombies with just his hands.

Leon could swear, even the retired Marine instructors back in the police academy weren't as brutal as him.

While thinking that, Leon noticed the road ahead was blocked by an obstacle. He stepped on the brake and stopped the police car in front of it.

"Leon, do you know how to get to the police station?" Looking at the obstacle ahead, Claire asked.

Leon looked at Aiden and said, "Claire, you should ask him. He just ca out of there."

Claire then looked toward Aiden.

Facing their gazes, Aiden spread his hands, "Sorry, I'm not too sure either."

Raccoon City had already changed too much, he really didn't know.

"Well then, looks like I'll have to find a route." Leon turned the police car while looking around, trying to find another road.

However, just as the car turned onto a side road, a huge billboard suddenly collapsed in front of them, blocking their way.

Leon quickly stepped on the brake, but for so reason, the brakes failed at that mont, and the car went straight toward the billboard.

What Aiden had been worried about finally happened. He shouted loudly, "Claire, if you can, you'd better prepare for a crash!"

"I'm doing it." Claire had learned how to protect herself in a car crash at school. She curled up tightly, putting her head between her knees.

"We're about to crash." Leon straightforwardly closed his eyes, leaving everything to God.

Boom!

The out-of-control police car crashed into the leaning billboard, soared into the air, spun a few tis, and then slamd heavily into the ground.

'I knew it! Sothing was bound to go wrong riding in his car. Damn it, good thing I have a tough life.' Aiden kicked open the deford car door, crawled out of the car gloomily, and wiped the cold sweat off his forehead.

Even though he had ntally prepared for a crash, he was still scared stiff.

He turned to look inside the car. Claire was also fine. She was forcefully kicking at the car door, but her strength was far less than Aiden's. After a few tries, she could only shout loudly for help.

"Aiden, help ."

" too!"

Leon also called out. As the person who took the initial hit, he was actually unhard. Only his legs were stuck.

Aiden sighed, but didn't go help right away. He first looked around and noticed a few zombies had spotted them and were approaching.

But they were just ordinary infected ones, so slow they posed almost no threat.

Feeling reassured, Aiden put away his drawn pistol, then walked to the back seat and tore off the deford door with his bare hands.

"Oh my god, you're so strong." Claire's eyes widened, "Even my brother's not as strong as you."

Aiden didn't respond. His face blank as he pulled her out.

"Thanks." Claire patted her chest and said.

"No need." Aiden waved his hand, then suddenly seed to think of sothing and said, "You're Chris's sister. As his friend, it's only right to help you. Of course, you don't need to be so formal. If you don't mind, you can call 'big brother' too. After all, I'm about the sa age as your brother."

Claire looked at Aiden and said "Mm" before replying, "Got it, Aiden. I'll be sure to tell my brother this exactly as you said it."

Aiden laughed awkwardly and waved his hand, "No need, you better keep calling Aiden."

At this ti, Leon, still stuck in the driver's seat, shouted loudly, "I don't know why you two suddenly got so close and have so much to talk about, but can you get out before sharing all those feelings? This position is super uncomfortable."

Aiden glanced at him, "Coming right away. Rookie officer, you should have so patience."

"Patience? Of course I have patience! Didn't you see I didn't interrupt even once just now?" Leon said gloomily, "It's only my first day on the job and so much has happened already. If my instructor knew, he'd cry that I only earn one salary for all this."

"Don't worry about that. You'll definitely earn a high salary in the future." Aiden thought of Leon's future and laughed, "So high, you can't even imagine."

Soon, Leon was also pulled out.
