"Since it's like this, then just kill them all." 2B also didn't waste words, swung her sword and charged forward, just one move, and she cut two chanical lifeforms in half at the waist.

Looking at the fallen companions, those chanical lifeforms once again let out blurry sounds.

"Enemy... so scary..."

"Don't... co over..."

2B was once again stunned, then said, "chanical lifeforms also have the emotion called 'fear'?"

"Very simple, because they have already evolved." Aiden spun his handgun boredly, with A2 and 11B around, he didn't even get the chance to fire.

"This isn't good news."

A2, who stood beside Aiden holding a blade, furrowed her brows. She had also taken out several chanical lifeforms and had heard those chanical lifeforms actually beg for rcy before dying.

"It's indeed not good news. Considering their numbers, if they evolve on a large scale, the chances of us taking back Blue Star will beco smaller and smaller," 11B said with so worry.

"We must figure out the reason why they evolved," 9S said after slaying the last chanical lifeform that attacked them.

"So, should we capture one and ask it?" 11B suddenly suggested an idea.

Then, the others looked at her strangely.

———

The chanical lifeforms in the desert area seed endless, just after finishing off one group, another imdiately appeared. Luckily, the combat power of these chanical lifeforms wasn't strong and didn't pose much threat to them.

After dealing with several more waves of chanical lifeform attacks, 2B and the others reached a conclusion, although those chanical lifeforms had evolved and could speak, they didn't have the ability to think, more like they were controlled by so kind of instinct, saying words that even they themselves might not understand, with no logic, and sotis even contradicting themselves.

Even so, they didn't let their guard down, cutting down chanical lifeforms while heading deeper into the desert.

Just like that, several hours passed, and it was afternoon.

At this ti, the group who was tracking a fleeing chanical lifeform arrived outside an already abandoned city.

"This city looks even bigger than the one where the Resistance Camp is located!" Looking at the ruined city before them, 9S exclaid in awe.

"What's the use of big? Without the existence of humans, it's just ruins," Aiden said.

"That's why I think it's a bit of a pity. If this place were full of people, it'd definitely be bustling," 9S said again, imagining a city filled with humans.

"That's for sure. But now it has already beco a luxury. Even if we brought all the humans from the moon here, I'm afraid they wouldn't even fill a corner of this city," said Yakor, who stood behind Aiden.

Of course, she didn't say the rest, If there are even humans still left on the moon...

"Alright, there's no aning in talking about this. Let's go in first. That chanical lifeform is very strange, maybe we can get so useful information from it."

After 2B finished speaking, she went in holding her sword. Aiden and the others exchanged glances and followed behind her.

This ruined city was already the domain of the chanical lifeforms. Waves of chanical lifeforms constantly launched attacks on them, it was obvious there must be a chanical lifeform production factory here.

Following the footprints of that fleeing chanical lifeform, the group entered a narrow passage ford by collapsed buildings. Inside, they saw a large number of android and chanical lifeform corpses.

"A fierce battle once took place here."

2B stopped, crouched down, and examined the fallen androids. She found their bodies covered with many wounds, so were even dismbered, as if they had been abused in a fit of rage after death.

The others noticed this as well, especially Aiden. He even glanced at 11B. If it weren't for his appearance, 11B's end could've been the sa as these androids.

"Why did they do this?" 2B asked coldly, suppressing her inner anger.

No one answered, only her support pod said, "Unknown."

Only Aiden knew why. Due to occupying the planet for a long ti, chanical lifeforms had awakened a consciousness similar to that of humans. However, most of their actions were still unconscious behaviors, or simply imitation.

Unlike the androids who imitated human behavior, the chanical lifeforms were like newborn babies, without clear concepts of good or evil, so any action they took was not surprising.

At this mont, the voice of that fleeing chanical lifeform rang out from the depths of the narrow corridor, "Run quickly, danger, run quickly."

This voice imdiately snapped the silent androids back to alertness. Then, without saying a word, they all rushed forward.

Quickly passing through the narrow corridor, their vision gradually brightened. Soon, they entered a circular building.

The top of the building was uncovered, and sunlight shone straight in, so they could see clearly.

"What a strange layout, what was this place used for before?" 11B looked around curiously.

"Looks like a shopping mall," Aiden said. That's what he thought when he played the ga.

"Shopping mall?" A2 looked at him in confusion.

"Basically, a place where people went shopping during the human era," Aiden explained.

"Oh, I see, like the trading zone at the Resistance Camp, right?" A2 asked in realization.

"More or less." Aiden nodded.

While they were talking, 2B's support pod gave a warning, "Attention, a large number of chanical lifeform signals detected."

"A large number, huh, seems like this is their nest." 2B narrowed her eyes slightly. "Perfect, wipe them out all at once."

"Don't let your guard down, Miss 2B." Yakor reminded, then leaned toward Aiden's ear and said, "That guy, you can handle him, right?"

Aiden knew who she was referring to. He nodded. "No pressure at all."

"That's good." Yakor naturally trusted him and was completely at ease.

Then, the group followed the spiral ramp along the building's edge and descended.

Six people together weighed over a ton. Rembering a certain scene from the ga, Aiden reminded, "Careful, the structure here is severely weathered. Watch your step."

But before his words finished, the floor beneath 2B, who walked at the front, suddenly collapsed, and she fell straight down.

Even though he knew this height wouldn't harm an android, and there was a support pod, Aiden still instinctively reached out and grabbed 2B by the collar.

"Thanks," 2B said expressionlessly, as an android, this couldn't scare her.

However, just as Aiden was about to say "You're welco" and pull her up, there was a ripping sound, and 2B's upper clothing was torn off completely. With an ambiguous-sounding scream, 2B still fell, but luckily, she caught her support pod and safely landed.

Looking at the torn piece of clothing in his hand, Aiden looked a bit awkward. Feeling the stares of the others, he quickly stepped on a ledge and jumped down.

But as soon as he landed, he was nearly blinded by a flash of snow-white light. Without her top to cover her, 2B's upper body had only a chest garnt barely containing her overflowing chest. Under the dazzling sunlight, it emitted a radiant holy light.

So big. So dazzling. So lovely.

Aiden couldn't look away, but he still took off his coat and handed it over, "Cover up, it's not good if others see."

2B nodded. Though by logic, as an android she shouldn't feel shy about it, she still took the coat and put it on.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Along with a few soft thuds, the others jumped down. Seeing 2B wearing Aiden's coat, they all looked at him in unison.

Luckily, only Yakor's gaze carried resentnt, otherwise Aiden would've been even more embarrassed.

At this mont, 9S noticed movent nearby. He walked forward a few steps, looked at the chanical lifeforms making strange motions, and asked in confusion, "Look… what are they doing?"

Everyone's attention was instantly drawn, but aside from the awkward-faced Aiden and the shy, averted-eyed Yakor, the other androids all looked curious.

In the center of the circular building's open area, a large group of chanical lifeforms had gathered. So were shaking makeshift cradles made from scrap iron, so lay quietly on the ground, but most of them were one chanical lifeform using its lower body to constantly bump the lower body of another chanical lifeform lying down.

And what A2 and the others were curious about, was exactly these actions.

"Their behavior is really strange?" 11B asked in confusion.

"They seem to be imitating humans. Look, that's a cradle, I rember humans put babies in cradles, then rocked them to sleep," A2 said. She had recently learned a lot about human behaviors and explained it to 11B.

"Then what about those ones?" 2B pointed at the chanical lifeforms bumping each other's lower halves and asked.

"That... I'm not sure," A2 shook her head. Then she looked at Aiden, noticing his strange expression, and asked, "Looks like... Aiden, you know?"

"Right! Aiden, you know a lot about humans, so you should know, right?" 9S also noticed Aiden's expression.

"Uh..." Aiden thought for a mont, not knowing how to say it.

"Is there sothing you can't say?" 2B asked as well.

"You really want to say it?" Aiden decided to confirm.

"Say it." 2B had a face full of curiosity.

"Alright, then I'll say it." Aiden took a deep breath, then slowly said, "They're imitating human reproductive behavior, in simpler, or more polite terms, sex."
