A few days later, after finalizing the story outline and gaplay plan for Uncharted, Takayuki brought the draft ho and handed it to Ayano Tsukino.

"What do you think?" he asked.

Ayano studied it carefully for a while and replied seriously,"This doesn't feel like a ga."

"Feels more like a movie, right?" Takayuki smiled.

"Exactly. So won't people feel like they could just watch it instead? Why play it at all?"

"Because gas offer way more imrsion than movies. Anyway, tell your honest thoughts first."

After thinking for a mont, Ayano answered,"The story is definitely compelling—exploring ancient ruins and uncovering treasure is always exciting. But the gaplay... feels kind of standard. I thought you'd innovate more, especially since you've been working non-stop on this for days."

Takayuki chuckled."Innovation isn't that easy. Let's be real, almost everything is built off sothing else. RPGs are just evolved tabletop dice gas, strategy gas are advanced versions of board gas."

"Hmm... that does make sense."

"I see video gas as an extension of existing entertainnt. The roots are still the sa."

"Well, I think this ga still has great potential. I'm just personally not that into this genre."

Ayano had been with Takayuki for years. Even if a ga wasn't her style, she could still sense when one had promise.

"The most important thing here is the storytelling," Takayuki explained."This kind of ga is relatively easy to develop—it's more of a genre expansion, and a bridge."

"A bridge to what?"

"To sothing even bigger."

Ayano blinked, clearly unsure what he ant.

"You'll find out soon enough. No rush."

"Alright, I'll just stay curious, then."

She knew that when Takayuki didn't want to say sothing, there was no use pressing.

Whatever he promised would eventually be released anyway.

"Oh right, Airi told there's been progress with the Switch developnt. You've been so busy I didn't want to bother you until now."

"Progress?" Takayuki perked up.

This was a key part of his next big plan.

"Ask Airi for the details. I don't really understand the hardware engineering stuff."

"Got it." He nodded. If Airi said there was progress, it must've reached a good stage. He planned to check in the next day.

The next morning, Takayuki brought the finalized Uncharted plan with him to the company.

He'd first check in on the Switch's developnt, then assign the Uncharted project.

Uncharted would be a launch title for the Switch.

Performance-wise, this world's Switch—based on Takayuki's specs—was significantly more powerful than the original in his past life.

After all, the tech level here had already caught up to 2019 standards, with all sorts of devices and even short-form video content starting to rise.

Takayuki was now aware—his opponents weren't just people like Myron Case. Others were competing with him using similar forms of entertainnt.

He had to be prepared.

After arriving at the company, he went straight to the engineering developnt floor.

That departnt took up five floors, the largest area in the whole building.

It also had the highest security clearance. Every employee there was thoroughly vetted to prevent any leaks.

Of course, even with tight security, industry spies might still gather clues through suppliers and sales data. But fine details were still well protected.

If he owned the entire supply chain, it would be easier to stay fully confidential—but that would require huge investnt. Takayuki wasn't sure he could manage that.

In his past life, he was just a mid-level programr. He founded this company out of his love for video gas. And that was where he wanted to stay.

He stepped into the engineering departnt, and the space opened up.

There weren't actually many employees—just 300–400 across all five floors.

Other departnts had twice as many.

Hardware developnt didn't work the sa way as ga programming. Adding more people didn't always an better results. The core work was driven by elite specialists—engineers in electronics, chanics, and related fields.

The entire area was spotless. So zones even had "No Entry" signs unless in clean suits—those were the departnt's most restricted areas.

Takayuki didn't need to go that deep. Airi Hayasawa was already waiting for him in the eting room.

As he approached the office door, he could hear voices inside.

"I think we should make the trigger buttons two-stage—it'd improve racing ga controls."

"But that would complicate the hardware design and raise maintenance costs. It's not worth the trouble for a minor improvent."

"But isn't that in line with President Takayuki's philosophy—always prioritize the player experience? I think it's worth adding."

"Let's vote on it."

"I'm in favor."

" too."

"I'm against."

" too."

Just then, Takayuki opened the door and raised his hand.

"I vote in favor."
