At night, Sayuri returned to Takayuki's house feeling sowhat weary.
"Is it this late already? Have you been sowhere else?" Takayuki was still in the living room tinkering with a brand new ga console circuit board.
Well, there wasn't much else to do at night, so he decided to make another circuit board and assemble the ga console.
Hearing Takayuki's question, Sayuri, feeling tired, nodded as she entered the living room. "Yes, I did go sowhere else, but don't worry, I've finished your work, boss."
"Alright, I trust you," Takayuki replied.
Takayuki didn't inquire further.
Obviously, Sayuri had her own matters to attend to.
Takayuki wouldn't press for answers she didn't want to give.
He was just her boss, after all.
Completing the tasks he assigned was enough.
"Takayuki, are you planning to visit other job placent offices tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow? No need. Tomorrow, you'll co with to the company's office location. I've already arranged for the construction team, and they'll start renovating the company tomorrow or the day after. After that, the company can officially open."
"The company? Will it be grand?"
"Of course not," Takayuki answered bluntly. "Every penny of the company's money needs to be carefully managed now."
"But you're quite generous with the salaries and rent, aren't you? Shouldn't you be more careful in that regard?"
Takayuki shook his head as he continued soldering the circuit board. "No, so things require generosity. Your salary, as well as the salaries of future employees, must be sufficient. Otherwise, if you all leave, I'll be left alone."
"Left alone? That's an interesting way to put it," Sayuri giggled.
"Alright, it's getting late. You'll need to wake up early tomorrow. Your job tomorrow is to oversee the construction. Once everything is done, you'll have a completely new job."
"A completely new job? What is it?"
"It's a job you absolutely won't refuse. You'll find out when the ti cos."
Takayuki didn't say much more and went back to work.
Feeling bored, Sayuri went back to her bedroom.
The next day,
Takayuki worked through the night again.
But his energy remained high. Perhaps it was thanks to the unique advantage he had after crossing over.
Thanks to this advantage, he could do more than others.
Besides tinkering with ga consoles at night, Takayuki was also planning to develop a new ga.
The classic gas on the Nintendo Entertainnt System were countless. Just having Super Mario wasn't enough.
It would be a waste of the NES's potential.
So he had already started working on the developnt of a second ga.
Once the ga console was matured, the subsequent ga developnt would beco the top priority.
And the real money-maker was actually the ga software itself; the money earned from the ga console was secondary.
In the morning, Sayuri woke up early.
"Good morning, Takayuki! Shall I drive today?"
"Sure."
Takayuki nodded, and the two of them promptly drove to the company's location.
Sayuri was also curious about the location of the new company.
When she arrived, she seed a bit stunned.
"Is this our company?"
"Yes, this is our company. How does it look? Not bad, right?"
Sayuri felt it was slightly different from what she had imagined.
In her mind, a company should be in an office building with huge floor-to-ceiling windows, various desks, and countless docunts.
But what she saw was a three-story standalone building that looked sowhat dilapidated, with nothing inside.
"It's not quite what you imagined, is it?" Takayuki seed to sense Sayuri's thoughts.
"Yeah, it's indeed different."
"It's only temporary," Takayuki said with a gleam in his eye.
Only he knew how attractive the gaming industry truly was.
And the economic potential it could bring about was undeniable.
He was just getting started.
At that mont, there were already so workers in work clothes gathered beside the building.
They were the renovation team Takayuki had contacted yesterday.
They had brought construction materials with them.
Takayuki didn't have high demands; the building itself just looked a bit run-down.
So, quick renovation with reinforced panels would suffice.
According to the contract signed yesterday, they could finish renovating at least the first floor in two days.
The second and third floors only needed basic electrical installations because they would be used as assembly lines for ga consoles, and they didn't require a fancy environnt for now—just working spaces.
Under Takayuki's orders, the workers imdiately began moving construction materials to start the renovation process.
"Today, you'll be the assistant supervisor. Make sure these people don't slack off. I've emphasized to them that the renovation must be completed within two days."
Sayuri had already put on a small blue safety helt and reflective safety clothing.
She put her hands on her hips and said, "Don't worry, leave it to . I'll make sure they don't slack off!"
Takayuki nodded, then prepared to greet the upcoming interviewees.
After a day's worth of interest generated, quite a few people had shown up again.
Although everyone who ca had so doubts about whether they would actually get paid here, so people who had no other options had no choice but to co here again and try their luck.
After all, only here could they get a sowhat decent salary.
And most importantly, no work experience or professional certificates were required here—just hands and feet and good health.
The first person to arrive again was the homaker, Rimi Honda.
After considering it for a day, Rimi had decided to co again.
As a homaker, she had to work hard to support her two children.
At the mont, the job Takayuki offered seed to be the most reliable option.
If she didn't co here, Rimi might have to resort to the job she least wanted to do—being a hostess.
And won who often worked in such jobs would find it difficult to turn back.
Rimi didn't want to do that kind of work unless absolutely necessary.
"Hello, Miss Honda, right? I'm glad you ca again today. It seems you've made up your mind?" Takayuki asked.
"Yes," Rimi nodded gently.
"But I still want to know, what kind of work are we actually going to do?"
The day before, Takayuki had only shown her sothing like a ga console, saying that they would be making this, but the introduction yesterday wasn't detailed enough.
"Co with ," Takayuki said.
