"Ahhhh!!"

A bloodcurdling scream ca from above, even louder than when he was previously crushed.

"Telekinesis!"

Silver radiance flickered in Zhou Haoyu's eyes as he reached out and yanked Nie Dong down with a forceful tug.

"Do you still have any excess blood left to escape with?"

Zhou Haoyu stepped on Nie Dong's body, his expression indifferent.

Nie Dong endured the scorching pain burning his soul and looked up at Zhou Haoyu, only for shock to appear on his face a mont later.

The mage attacking him was actually just a greenhorn kid.

In Nie Dong's heart, vampires were a higher species and humans nothing more than a bunch of reptiles.

And now he was being ravaged like this by a young mage—this was simply the greatest humiliation!

"You'd better let go, otherwise my lord definitely won't spare you!" Nie Dong glared fiercely at Zhou Haoyu, threatening him viciously.

Zhou Haoyu chuckled—this guy still couldn't tell the difference between a king and a pawn.

Just a newly turned little vampire, and yet he really thought himself so important.

Too lazy to waste words, Zhou Haoyu moved his thoughts and yanked out Nie Dong's two fangs directly.

The instant he lost his fangs, Nie Dong's face was imdiately filled with terror.

Vampires had imnse vitality. As long as they could drink blood, even the gravest injuries could be healed. But once they lost their fangs, it ant certain death!

"Don't kill , I know I was wrong, I promise I'll never kill people again, please give my fangs back."

Nie Dong begged in the humblest tone possible, completely different from his earlier arrogance.

"Once a vampire, always a vampire."

Finishing, Zhou Haoyu summoned the Fla Scorpion Tiger and burned him alive.

[Activating.]

[Obtained one drop of Blood Ancestor origin blood.]

"Blood Ancestor?"

Zhou Haoyu froze for a mont. Why did he get sothing like this? He had no interest in becoming a vampire.

He turned to look at Liu Xian and Liu Ru, so thoughts forming in his heart—but this matter would need to be handled slowly.

"It's getting late, let's part ways here and stay in contact." Zhou Haoyu said.

Zhao Manyan didn't say much and waved goodbye right away. After all, there was a senior sister waiting for him back at the hotel.

"Thanks a lot this ti, I'll figure out a way to get the commission fee to you," Liu Xian said, still feeling a bit of lingering fear. If not for Zhou Haoyu, she might have died.

"We agreed no commission fee. These two fangs are worth plenty—I should be thanking you for helping lure him out." Zhou Haoyu said seriously.

Although this reward was useless for him, it was enough to raise a top-tier expert.

"Alright then, I'll treat you to a al soti when you're free—that you can't refuse, right?" Liu Xian smiled.

"Dining with two beauties, why would I refuse?" Zhou Haoyu readily agreed.

Azure Sky Hunter Agency.

"Giant skyscraper serpent suddenly appears in HZ city center—"

Zhou Haoyu looked at the news on his phone, and his interest was instantly piqued.

By his guess, it should be about ti for the Totem Black Serpent to shed its skin. After that would co the plague outbreak.

Though Zhou Haoyu wasn't interested in helping the Black Serpent, it was a great chance to earn a huge rit, maybe even a nomination ticket.

Besides that, Zhu ng, Tang Yue, Tang Zhong, and Luo Mian were all likely to have treasure chests.

Lingling suddenly poked her head over, glanced at his screen, and curled her lips, "I can't believe you're actually interested in this kind of news. How rare."

Zhou Haoyu was used to Lingling's manner of speaking and said directly, "That giant skyscraper serpent should be the Totem Black Serpent, right?"

Lingling looked at him in surprise, puzzled, "You even know about the totems—who told you?"

"I looked up so information about totems." Zhou Haoyu casually found an excuse.

Lingling didn't doubt him. Nowadays hardly anyone knew about totems, but there were still plenty of books recording information on them—it was just that almost nobody cared.

"If that skyscraper serpent really is the Black Serpent, then showing up in the city at this timing definitely isn't normal." Lingling said.

Zhou Haoyu shrugged, put his phone into his pocket, looked at Lingling, and asked:

"Lingling, are there any commissions lately? Preferably high-level ones—I want to level up my Hunter rank."

"There are a few commissions, but I don't have ti recently." Lingling replied exceedingly coldly.

"Hmm?"

Zhou Haoyu was completely baffled. Lingling, who always cared only about hunting demons, actually said she was not free.

Was this reasonable?

"Lingling, don't tell … it's that ti of month?" Zhou Haoyu probed.

"What's it got to do with you!"

Lingling's displeasure was visible to the naked eye as she glared viciously at Zhou Haoyu, then turned and left.

Zhou Haoyu shrugged, finished his hot tea, and left the Hunter Agency.

After leaving, Zhou Haoyu headed straight to the Oriental Pearl Tower—it was ti to awaken his fourth elent.

Zhou Haoyu didn't awaken a new elent right away for two reasons—first, to keep so of his strength hidden; second, he planned to find Guo Liyu for his awakening.

Guo Liyu might also have a treasure chest.

Magic City, Pearl Magic Tower.

As Zhou Haoyu entered the gorgeous grand hall, he could imdiately feel the rich magical atmosphere rushing towards him. Truly worthy of being the Headquarters of the Chinese Magic Association!

"Is there anything I can help you with, esteed Mage, sir?"

Zhou Haoyu had only taken a few steps when a lobby lady walked up to ask.

"I made an appointnt for magic awakening." Zhou Haoyu answered.

"Let check for you. May I have your na, please?"

"Zhou Haoyu."

The lobby lady imdiately checked. When the information appeared, she looked at Zhou Haoyu with utter disbelief.

[Zhou Haoyu: Appointnt for High-Tier Awakening.]

He was a High-Tier Mage??

Reaching High-Tier before twenty-five was considered genius, and this person in front of her was barely in his early twenties.

"Is it alright now?" Zhou Haoyu reminded her since she hadn't responded.

"My apologies." The lobby lady gave a slight bow, then smiled sweetly. "Mr. Zhou, would you like to take a look around here first, or should I take you directly to the Awakening Room?"

"Awaken."

"Alright, please follow ."

The lobby lady walked ahead, her alluring little hips swaying back and forth as though tempting sothing.

After bringing Zhou Haoyu to the Awakening Room, she called inside, "Mr. Guo, there's a Mage with an appointnt for High-Tier Awakening."

Guo Liyu heard the voice outside and walked out unhurriedly.

But the mont he saw Zhou Haoyu, Guo Liyu's originally indifferent deanor imdiately turned enthusiastic.

"You are Zhou Haoyu, right?" Guo Liyu said with a smile.

"Yes." Zhou Haoyu nodded.

[Activation condition: Complete an awakening with his assistance.]
