Bellero sat paralyzed, his jaw tightening into a rigid line as Joanne’s final words hung in the quiet reception room like a toxic fog. For the first ti in over a decade, the feared Mafia God found himself completely cornered under his own roof. His eyes flared with a dangerous heat as his mind calculated the devastating weight of her threat. After all these long, exhausting years of him carefully keeping Jannah Nenth’s unique lineage a secret from the society, a beauty queen has actually discovered it. If she let that data out to the public, the entire criminal underworld and every prominent, multi-billion-credit Alpha in the country would descend on the slums to hunt the girl down. He would have to compete with an army of wealthy tycoons just to secure the future of his own bloodline.

Left with no otherwise, Bellero slowly let out a breath, his chest deflating as he looked at the statuesque woman standing before him.

"You are a very bold, very dangerous girl, Joanne," Bellero murmured, his voice dropping into a low rasp surrender. "You have played your cards beautifully. I agree to your terms. We have a deal."

Joanne’s lips curled into a satisfied smirk, her shoulders relaxing a fraction of an inch as she adjusted her dress. "I knew an analytical businessman like you would see the logic, Bellero."

"Do not smile just yet, my elite trophy," Bellero interrupted sharply, his voice cutting through her satisfaction as he stood up from his chair. He walked around the table, his towering fra casting a shadow over her. "Before I give you the antidote, we need to establish the conditions of this alliance. Listen to perfectly. In case you ever think about going against our agreent—if you try to double-cross my desk or run away with the secret—I swear to you that I will not stop using my most ruthless, bloody ans on whoever tries to get close to Jannah’s body. And that includes your precious boyfriend, Dorrent Grefo. I will personally blow him if you cross ."

Joanne’s eyes narrowed into defensive slits, her posture instantly locking into determination. "Of course you wouldn’t dare try harming Dorrent, Mafia God. Let make my own rules clear to your grid. If I even see a single scratch on his skin, or if your hitn launch a single attack near his estate, I will let the secret out to the public that exact minute. I will ruin your entire plan before your son can even touch her hand. So, what you have to do from this sunrise onward is only cooperate with my instructions."

Bellero let out a chuckle that dripped with cynicism. He adjusted the gold rings on his fingers, his eyes swamped with a sudden, dark calculation. "Since we are now officially in this ss together, Joanne, we need to start working imdiately. You should start by using the antidote itself as the perfect ans to let my son, Damian, get closer to Jannah."

Joanne’s brow furrowed into confusion. "What do you an by that? The girl is dying in a hospital terminal. How does the cure help Damian?"

"There is a piece of vital biological data you are missing from your deep background check, Joanne," Bellero explained smoothly, a wicked smirk playing on his wrinkled features. "An oga of Jannah’s rare genetic caliber cannot be forced into conception like a common street girl. The unique biology of her system dictates that she can only conceive an Enigma child for a man that she genuinely loves. Physical friction is not enough; her heart must completely surrender first. And right now, her and my son haven’t gotten a single chance to interact more or build a deep connection. So, this poisoning disaster might be the ultimate chance to let Jannah fall completely for my son."

Joanne’s jaw dropped slightly, her eyes flaring with surprise as she processed the shocking piece of information. She had calculated the leverage, but she had never anticipated the complex biological rules governing the Enigma lineage. "She... she has to love him? I didn’t know that information at all. How on earth am I supposed to make a dying slum girl fall in love with Damian while she is locked inside the Grefo mansion?"

"It is very simple, my clever girl," Bellero whispered, his voice dropping into a ghostly, low purr that echoed off the walls. "When you return to the estate with the antidote, you should find a way for Damian to beco the primary doctor in charge of Jannah’s entire healing process. You must convince Dorrent that only a Boren dical expert can manage the toxic degradation of her tissue. And once Damian is inside the house, he will deliberately drag the healing process out for weeks. He will keep her suspended in a weak, dependent state, creating more and more daily room for his presence to show her affection, care, and protection. When a fragile girl is constantly comforted by a handso doctor during her darkest hours of pain, she will naturally fall for him. And that way, she can easily get pregnant when they have sex in the future."

A wave of ambition washed over Joanne’s beautiful face. She smoothed her golden hair back, a dark, brilliant plan already forming behind her eyes. "That is actually not so hard to do, Bellero. Since I am now formally staying inside the Grefo estate, I will have twenty-four-hour access to the estate. I can easily manipulate the household layout, whisper doubts into Dorrent’s ears, and clear the path for Damian’s arrival. It will be easy, and I will find a precise way very soon."

"Excellent," Bellero barked, his face twisting into triumph.

He slowly reached into the pocket of his vest, his fingers wrapping around a small tallic case. With a slow, deliberate motion, he pulled it out and opened the electronic seal, revealing the glowing blue liquid locked inside the thick glass syringe—the antidote.

Bellero handed the case over to Joanne. The old Mafia patriarch extended his right hand toward her, gripping her palm in a crushing handshake that sealed their toxic alliance with an chilling finality.

"I am looking forward to our great cooperation, Joanne..."
